Our experience was the same as Robert S. in August, or worse. For the price we paid, we expected to be wowed .. and we were not. The room was well-furnished, but faced a drag back courtyard. Staff was disinterested, Wi-Fi was horrible, bathroom design was weird (shower door did not meet the wall or floor so water went everywhere ... long-standing issue made obvious by peeling paint on WC door). On the first night, we noticed that one of the two lounge chairs had a broken leg. Mentioned it to the front desk on our way out the next day, and returned late afternoon to find ... no chair. Very disappointing after a busy, tiring day exploring Provence. We called to ask for a chair, and they brought a desk chair -- not a match to the other one in the room in design or comfort. On the way to dinner, we complained to the front desk, and returned to find a different chair -- covered in dust (obviously taken from storage and not a nearby room), still not a match for the other. With the reputation of the hotel, and the prices they charge, you should expect first-class maintenance and service, but you will not find it here.

The location is the best asset of this hotel. It's right next to the Palais de Papes and other main attractions in Avignon. Parking is literally in the same building so very convenient. Staff are helpful and kind. However, we found the value to be poor as the room is shockingly small. We get that it is located in an old town and right in the centre, but we come from Paris and even for us we feel the Superior Room is simply too small for the average family. The bathroom is so cramped it feels like showering on a cruise ship bathroom. Also the cleanliness and maintenance leaves much room for improvement. There are very visible signs of wear and tear in the room and throughout the hotel, like stained carpets, dirty towels, peeling corners, broken lamps, layer of dust on the hairdryer and room amenities... It's a perfectly fine hotel to stay overnight to explore the city and surroudning areas but I'd advise against a longer stay.

房間是真的非常小 兩個人住有點擠 大行李箱勉強放下 地理位置還是不錯的 阿維尼翁中心火車站出來沿主路進城筆直走700米就到 在古城中心位置 也相對比較安全 房子確實有年代了 電梯一看就是幾十年前就建造的 很小很古老（當然外觀是新裝修過的） 房間每天提供浴巾毛巾浴袍及洗髮沐浴二合一的產品 有獨立衛生間 乾濕分離 床、傢具之類還是有點老舊的 但總體還算乾淨 早餐品種不多 可頌很好吃 還是能吃飽的 服務也很好 前台有問必答 英文OK 周圍去老城各景點還是很方便的 都可走路即達 飯店超市等店鋪也很多 古城還是很好看的

The location was perfect - situated right next to City Hall. The staff was friendly, and we really appreciate the bottle of rose and olive oil as presents to celebrate our anniversary. The room size was petite, but it is on par with the hotel rooms we stayed in France, although the bathroom here was pretty large. There was a bit of a miscommunication with our to-go breakfast, but it got resolved quickly.

First, the location was excellent- on the main street in the nice area of town. WE had an issue that was remedied by the staff. We were given a room on the 4th floor (maybe 406?), in a kind of exclusive part of the hotel as we had to take an elevator to the 3rd floor and then another elevator. Unbeknownst to me, our room was a suite with a separate room adjacent to the main bedroom . There was a fireplace in the room and we had a huge balcony. The view from the balcony and the suite was fantastic. However, the room had a bad smell. It smelled like sewage. We hesitated but decided to stay. The next day we moved. The smell was too much! The staff seemed to be aware of the sewage smell but claimed it is not always there. In any case, we were given another room on the 3rd floor, not a suite but quite large, no balcony but a fireplace. The view was still beautiful. This room had no bad smell. Just be aware. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate but we decided to eat there anyway. It was plentiful. Fresh breads and bread products, an assortment of cheeses, ham, eggs and bacon. You can also make your own freshly squeezed OJ. we felt that the 16 euro price was reasonable for the quality. Overall, all positive, but the awful smell they need to get rid of.

The room was what you would expect from an ibis budget, although some fluffier towels wouldnt have gone astray. The room was very clean and the staff at reception were very friendly. Just near the lift there is a microwave and kettle if you prefer to make your own breakfast which is handy, as well as a couple of vending machines. We ate breakfast one morning and felt we got value out of €7.50. They had baguette, soft cheese, jam, crossiants, cake, cereal fruit & yoghurt and juices with a couple of coffee machines. There was a big school group staying while were there so they did fill the breakfast room but were generally polite. The location is great. A few blocks from the station and just outside the city walls.

Sehr charmantes Hotel mit freundlichem Empfang. Liegt ruhig aber trotzdem sehr günstig innerhalb der Stadtmauer. Punkteabzug gibt es zum einen für die Dusche. Die ist wirklich sehr klein und man bleibt ständig an der Armatur hängen und macht das Wasser an/aus, kalt oder heiß - je nach dem. Außerdem war der Duschgel-Spender leer - es waren dafür kleine Tütchen mit Duschgel vorhanden. Auch sonst ist das Badezimmer sehr klein. Weiterer Punktabzug beim Frühstück. Der Kaffee hatte zwar eine schwarze Farbe aber keinen Geschmack. Das war praktisch heißes Wasser. Und das Brot/Baguette war teigig und nicht richtig gebacken. Croissant war dagegen gut. Für manche ein Pluspunkt, für andere geht es gar nicht: es hat Katzen im Hotel

Très bon emplacement intramuros pour visiter Avignon. Très beau bâtiment situé à 4 minutes à pied de la gare d'Avignon Centre et à 11 minutes à pied du Palais des Papes. Bonne literie. Piscine bienvenue. Nous avons changé de chambre 3 fois, panne de conditionnement d'air sous 35°...trop d'escaliers. Salles de bains beaucoup trop petites avec baignoire même dans les chambre surclassées. Peintures défraîchies dans les chambres. Personne au bar pendant notre séjour d'une semaine. Ascenseurs souvent en panne. Manque d'attention au petit déjeuner personnel dépassé. Je pense que cet hôtel mérite 3*** et pas 4**** comme indiqué.

Tiene parking aunque nosotros aparcamos cerca de la muralla a unos minutos andando, es estacionamiento regulado de pago aunque de 19 a 9 horas no se paga. Habitación tranquila y silenciosa con vistas a la preciosa plaza, atención de recepción muy buena.
