Visited Cyprus for the first time via a last-minute package deal with TUI for £630pp for 1 week in mid-July. We did a lot of research on Trip advisor prior to selecting our hotel and Anonymous Beach Hotel was exactly as described online. We'll leave a detailed review as we very much appreciated other people's insights and are glad we settled on this hotel! Checked in late at night (1am) and were shown to our room and given information about the hotel and some vouchers for food/drinks. Note there is no water provided in the room on arrival, but there is a reasonably priced shop at reception which takes card/cash, and has water, fruit juice, snacks, alcohol and clothes/accessories. Appeared to be open 24 hours. We had a ground floor balcony room which was a good size with an en-suite toilet/shower. The room was cleaned to a good standard. There was some mould on the ceiling and on the wall above the bed, but the actual living spaces were very well-kept. The room had a kettle, some supplies for tea/coffee, a phone and hairdryer, and LED lighting on the mirror and above the bed. We gave a €10 deposit for the safe which was returned at the end of the stay, and the air con was free and worked very quickly once the keycard was inserted. Beds were very comfy and mattresses clean when inspected. The shower in our room was a bit odd - the shower tray would bend inward suddenly when standing on it (wasn't an issue for us but be may have been a falls risk for others), and because the shower door only covered half of the cubicle, water would gather on the floor across the bathroom. We were able to make a towel barrier to prevent this but it left our room smelling like damp towels after a few days. This may have been an issue with our room only but we were settled in and it didn't warrant a room change in our opinion. The rooms were cleaned most days (there were 2 days our room wasn't cleaned, but we were supplied with fresh towels daily). On days it was cleaned the bedsheets were replaced and tidied, the bathroom left immaculate and all the floors mopped. Anything we had left out was tidied into piles which we were very grateful for. Our balcony was overlooking a traffic ramp (we were aware it was a ground floor prior to booking) and was not in the sun so it was a challenge to dry clothes. Because it was ground floor, we had 3 cockroaches visit our room via the balcony - easily fired outside but if this would bother you ensure your balcony is higher up and away from the bushes!). Breakfast was buffet style served until 10:30am. It was very nice - we were always able to find something to suit us due to the variety. Favourites were fresh fruit and fruit juice, fry ups, bread/pastries, and freshly made pancakes/waffles. We didn't have lunch/dinner at the hotel but there were many restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Our favourite was Jungle Mania for burgers. The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. There is a beautiful beach a few steps across
