This 5-star hôtel is quite new so they are still putting the finishing touches on the private garden going down to the beaches. The service and the food, the swimming pools and amenities are already on par with other 5-star I've been to. A lot of the food is local (avocados, salads, fruits, fish) and is soooo good. The views are stunning from the rooms, the swimming pools, the Sea Sky outside lounge and the Paper Moon restaurant... Overall what I like the most is the feel of being surrounded by nature with the hotel's garden, greenery everywhere and the relatively small height of the buildings... Thank you to the staff for this memorable week in December, sun everyday and temperature around 20° during the day...

This is a big no from me, I have travelled a lot and have never felt more unsafe than I did in these apartments, my front door would not lock as I was heading out one evening to meet up with friends and family who had traveled far to meet me, I rang reception and they sent a guy up to fix the lock, I played around with lock for few minutes and said I had to wait until morning for maintenance to arrive and walked off, i than realised that the door was broken for the past 3 previous nights that I had been staying there, this apartment is at the back off the car park and so easy for anyone to walk in off the street and just open the door, I was petrified, and I certainly did not want to stay there with an open door, so I packed up all my luggage and moved hotel, I rang reception and they said they could put me on ground floor with no see view, (I paid extra for sea view ) I am so disappointed this ruined my whole holiday to think I was there with a broken door for 3 nights on my own anything could have happened, ps rooms so undated, uncomfortable, very low shower pressure and like a dungeon Do not stay here, plenty of other nicer hotels in the area

This is our second stay here, and it was better than the first. We stayed in The Pine Cliff Gardens this time in an apartment, which was amazing. The apartment was big - 2 bed, 2 bath and had everything you could possibly need, it was fully equipped and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into what you need an a day to day basis. The apartment was serviced everyday, only one minor gripe was we didn’t understand why the coffee pods were not replaced, considering this a 5 star resort this was disappointing. We had breakfast included which was lovely, plenty of choice and all the staff are lovely, friendly and attentive. We used a mix of pool and beach, both were always clean and easy to get beds. We ate in Mare and Corda Cafe, both really nice. The veggie burger is one of the best i have ever had. There are plenty of restaurants outside of the resort - San Marthino across the road is great. We loved our stay again and we will definitely return again. Thank you Pine Cliffs!

Жила на 1 этаже , все старенькое , темно в номере , удобно что свой выход на улицу , типа дворик , и к бассейну сразу .Басейн староват . Очень классный приветливый персонал , помогли со всеми вопросами . Далековато от центра , но если с машиной то все супер . Есть парковка ! Тихий район , красивый пляж в пешей доступности .

At best its a 4star property. During our stay hotel wasnt at its best, so ill put 3.5 stars. Hotel entrance looks like a train station waiting room. For a moment we thought that we are underground as its dark everywhere inside the hotel. Toilets were smelly on the entrance ground, Windows were cleaned on Christmas last year i think. Dirty floors. Rooms are dingy, but spacious.. Lots of cupboard space. you cant use the mirrors in bath area as its too dark. Water in Toilet bowl keeps on going unless you fiddle with the push buttons. TV Remote was filthy. Towels are from the 10th century, use with care! Toiletries are basic brands, nothing oo la la! Breakfast is good, not excellent. Theres a live station for omelettes and pancakes. Coffee from nescafe machines with pods, again not very 5 star standard. Stay here if you have a good price deal but not high expectations. DO NOT EXPECT 5 STAR SERVICE! You have been warned.

We booked this hotel for a relaxing break, and that’s pretty much what we got. Our booking included a private transfer from the airport and from the moment we set foot in the hotel we were made to feel special. The checking in process was very straightforward, and although our room wasn’t quite ready due to the early flight, we were offered breakfast while we waited. Our bags were delivered to the room, and we were greeted with a welcome flower, complimentary bottle of water and sweets. Two bottles of water and chocolates subsequently arrived daily, which was a welcome surprise. The room itself is very spacious with a huge and very comfortable bed, TV, plenty of storage including wardrobe with a light, ironing board & iron, fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom forms part of the bedroom with sliding doors for privacy, and includes a lovely bath and walk in shower, plus complimentary toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided for the spa. We didn’t use the aircon so unable to comment on that, but the balcony included a table with two chairs plus a sun lounger. Our room had a distant sea view and overlooked some lovely gardens with resident blackbirds and Iberian Magpies. Pretty sparrows can be seen around the complex, as well as a Hoopoe bird. The hotel is situated in extensive grounds with access to the beach which boasts stunning cliffs. It is well worth visiting the beach, and walking around the headland. Be sure to check out the gardens with the Love Tree, swing seat and secluded loungers. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the indoor pool. We knew that the weather at the end of March/early April could be unpredictable. As it turned out, we were pleasantly surprised – most days were hot albeit with a degree of breeze. Towels are provided and loungers plentiful. What we didn’t bargain for was the temperature of the outdoor pools – they were freezing! We arrived on the 30 March, and the pools were not heated until our last full day, allowing us to really enjoy the experience. The other disappointing aspect was the lack of vegetarian options for meals. Breakfast was fantastic with so many options for all – cooked breakfast, variety of egg dishes cooked to order, cheeses & cold meats, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread & pastries. We booked half board and dinner was a different story. On the first and second nights I managed to cobble together some dishes to make a meal. I did speak to the restaurant team who were incredibly helpful and attentive for the remainder of our stay. Overall, we loved the hotel. The WiFi is pretty good, there are lifts to every floor, and the hotel is beautifully decorated throughout.

We are coming to the end of our 10 night trip at this hotel. We are staying in a standard double room and this has been very comfortable. Inside the hotel is beautiful! Beds in rooms are spacious and bed linen changed every day alongside new towels. Although we were staying on street view rooms there was only one night I was disturbed of sleep and this was very brief as people made their way back to their apartment building. There was always plenty options at breakfast and food was really lovely. I cannot comment on dinner as we did not have this included. Pool area is very relaxing and lots of loungers - although the music by the pool was really repetitive and by personal preference, we would have liked more variety as it became boring. Also, for a four star hotel a plug next to the mirror would have been expected? We had a really relaxing massage in the spa here too with a lovely view! The beach is close, lots of bars and restaurants around a 5-10 minute walk away. Old town is not far in a taxi. In our experience the staff were very helpful and if we were to return to this part of Portugal we would definitely consider here again!
