Booked Treehouse B for 5 nights but switched to Treehouse A mid-way so will review both. All pics are of treehouse A. TREEHOUSE B (COCOS NUCIFERA) Semi-outdoor concept which is not accurately represented in the photos. In essence, everything but the bedroom is outdoors. Which also means that you are exposed to all possible bugs whenever you aren’t in the bedroom. 🫨 There are three levels; the floor with the main entrance is also where the bathroom is, further up is the kitchen/dining + wardrobe area and further up is a sofa + the bedroom. Note that the stairs are open so there is a possibility of dropping things or people peeping through the gaps. 👀 They really tried to make it like a treehouse by using wooden slats for everything but unfortunately did not sufficiently waterproof the wooden slats enough so there was water damage and rot already present despite this only opening this year. We saw this in both treehouses A and B. Ended moving to treehouse A when we woke to loud construction on our second morning there. TREEHOUSE A (PLUMERIA) This one is enclosed so there is at least some respite from bugs but somehow there were always at least two mosquitoes at any given time which we were either battling or getting bitten by. The lizards also found their way into this one and left their giant turds around. Some places where we found said giant turds: next to my pillow and on the tissue box that we put on the table. 🤢 The bed is also set above ground and only accessible by ladder (!!!) which I understand it supposed to evoke treehouse vibes but is SO dangerous even for adults, especially when you need to climb down half-asleep to go to the toilet. Water damage/wood rot was also visible in the bathroom area for this one but at least the hot water was more consistent than treehouse B, which seemed to run out in less than a minute. Only upside is that staff is quite responsive and flexible in allowing us to change treehouses. — Overall, Grün is good for a one to two night stay if you’re seeking a more novel outdoor accommodation experience, but I cannot recommend this for longer stays, nor families with young children or the elderly. And would I return? Likely not.

Hotel was amaziing! Do not hesitate to stay here. Firstly location good and there many cafe at the hotel road. Ms. Yuli and others were so kind. Ms. Yuli helped our every what we needed. There is harman kardon speaker, 2 air conditioner in the room. Hotel view, room, cleaning was super. We are very appreciate to Grün Canggu Hotel.

Beautiful stay. Lovely serene location. Can’t wait to come back.

整體環境很好，但整個晚上到早上，外面常有車經過的噪音，整晚都有狗叫聲，睡不好。

Amazing Villa! Highly recommended. Beautiful and peaceful place with a private pool. You can hear the sounds of nature in the evening. It was very clean. The host is very communicative and sportful, they can help you with everything - renting bikes, making coffee, or even breakfast. We arrived earlier but they let us wait on the pool and hill during the cleaning. The villa looks better than in the pictures. The home was pretty and in Japan-style wood.

During our recent stay at Grun Canggu Studio Agung - Batu Karu Villa, we enjoyed the cozy ambiance and found the villa to be as described. Although the induction cooker provided was useful, we noticed that some essential items such as knives, spatula, liquid dishwash, and tablecloth were not provided. However, we were still able to manage light cooking with the available utensils. Unfortunately, on the last night of our stay, there was a heavy rain and some water dripped onto the bed. Although it was a bit inconvenient, we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Nice villa with exelent view, quit place with comfortable house, nice garden and swiming pool. Want to stay againt in the future mybe with family or friends. Want to wait the inginity pool and new room. Very helpfull staff and acomodate during our stay with grun

Very uniq villa i had in my life, clean and very quite. Nice place, nice view, nice swimming pool and staf very help full. Very uniq concept tree house villa in Bali, i can't imagine if they open for new 6 room with infinity pool, will be nice with restauran and bar

nice room & view,super clean,very helpfull staff and make our fantastic moment during stay,quit area,very comfortable. recomended the private pool for honeymoon or refresh the mind with sunset view and ricefield view.pleasant stay and ofcourse will come back and stay againt.
