We love this place! So unfortunate that we had only 3 days there. 😭 Hope to have another trip to Bali and visit this place again. The hotel is located in the mountains. You’ll need a couple hours of transfer to get there from the airport. But the weather was incredible, with chill winds and bright sun. Not too many people around (comparing to Kuta or Seminyak). Compared to Singapore (from where we are) it was (literally) a breath of fresh air They have a garden with animals, and we will miss otters from there. 😭 You can catch a fish from the small lake and give to them. And otters are soooooo cute when you give them food. There was also a jazz event in one of the evenings. We don’t know how often do they have evenings like that, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Die Lage ist mitten im nirgendwo, weshalb man auf das Essensangebot vom Hotel angewiesen ist. Alternativ kann man aus Ubud via Gojekfood essen bestellen. Das Essen im Hotel ist nur mittelmäßig, nicht sehr lecker. Die Villa hatte fast gar keinen Internetempfang, da das WLAN-Signal sehr schlecht war. Und unser Pool hatte ein Loch wo ständig Wasser rausgeströmt ist. Ansonsten ist die Aussicht im Zimmer wunderschön und man fühlt sich wie im Jungle. Der Pool ist sehr groß und das Bad draussen ist sehr schön gewesen. Das Gesamtkonzept ist sehr gut, aber es wirkt alles irgendwie ”gewollt, jedoch nicht gekonnt”. Es ist schön das man alles vom Restaurant zu sich ins Zimmer bestellen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist jedoch immer eine Auswahl an Menüs, was mir persönlich nicht so gefallen hat. Das Australian Breakfast wurde statt auf einem Toast auf einem Burgerbun serviert.. :-D hier sollten Sie einfach eine Liste zur persönlichen Auswahl erstellen. Was besonders gut war, uns wurde direkt angeboten eine kostenlose Breakfastbox mitzunehmen, da wir sonst wegen einer Tour unser Frühstück verpassen würden. Guter Sevice.

The most incredible hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you arrive this hotel is absolute luxury. The rooms are huge. The welcome gin and petals in the bath are beautiful touches. There’s a brown makeup towel which shows their attention to detail. Breakfast is ab unlimited a la carte with incredible food. This hotel is everything and more. Daily excursions and activities! They even help you get a scooter. I wanted to stay in the infinity pool and jacuzzi forever. My mind was blown by everything at this hotel. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a colossal property that gives enough space to the elephants to roam around and to the people to enjoy them in their natural habitat. Easy to find the location in Google Maps and the place is strategically located in the corner of the Taro jungle. You get to feed the elephants, swim with the elephants and bathe the elephants for a fee that directly goes to the welfare and maintenance of the park. They also have Mason’s Adventure activities that contributes to the salaries and maintenance of the hotel. Therefore, you may treat this as a vacation that you enjoy with jumbos while donating. • We were celebrating out anniversary and the staff were accommodating with my request to provide a flower bouquet for a very reasonable price, where the flowers were awesome and the front office staff are to be commended for their effort. All the staff in the property are very friendly and the guides and mahouts are really helpful in getting to know the park and doing activities with the elephants. • Round the clock staff who are responsible for this make sure that all areas of the hotel meet its quality of cleanliness, rooms are cleaned everyday by default and if you require privacy and the room to be untouched, you can leave the Privacy tag on the door. • Breakfast was served on an À la carte menu which is very good in portions and delicious. • There are 4 types of luxury rooms, where the best is the Park View room where you wake up in the morning with a view of the jungle giant relaxing in front of your room. You feel like a king that owns a fleet of elephants when you are in this room... 😊 • All rooms had an unlimited water, tissues, bodywash, liquid soap, body lotion and shampoo. They also had a Dental Kit or Sanity Kit in their huge washroom. Fresh towels are provided and the bathroom shower spacious with bath robes provided. • Tea/coffee and Creamer were provided with a kettle as well. • Every room comes with a spacious balcony and a bathroom and Hot/Cold water for showers. Separate safe keeping facility are also available and the WIFI in room is relatively speed. • Value for the money is at high range, yet this is for a good cause and worth a visit annually. Also, the best place to visit with the kids during vacation.
