Hotel berhampiran Masjid Baiturrahman di Bali

La struttura è fuori dal caos ed immersa nel verde e nella natura. Tutto lo staff ci ha accolto benissimo e ci ha fatto sentire a casa, aiutandoci ad organizzare qualsiasi escursione avevamo in mente. Anche la cena in loco è stata buonissima. Infine, svegliarsi, affacciarsi e ammirare quella vista, è stato magnifico.

Die Lage ist mitten im nirgendwo, weshalb man auf das Essensangebot vom Hotel angewiesen ist. Alternativ kann man aus Ubud via Gojekfood essen bestellen. Das Essen im Hotel ist nur mittelmäßig, nicht sehr lecker. Die Villa hatte fast gar keinen Internetempfang, da das WLAN-Signal sehr schlecht war. Und unser Pool hatte ein Loch wo ständig Wasser rausgeströmt ist. Ansonsten ist die Aussicht im Zimmer wunderschön und man fühlt sich wie im Jungle. Der Pool ist sehr groß und das Bad draussen ist sehr schön gewesen. Das Gesamtkonzept ist sehr gut, aber es wirkt alles irgendwie ”gewollt, jedoch nicht gekonnt”. Es ist schön das man alles vom Restaurant zu sich ins Zimmer bestellen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist jedoch immer eine Auswahl an Menüs, was mir persönlich nicht so gefallen hat. Das Australian Breakfast wurde statt auf einem Toast auf einem Burgerbun serviert.. :-D hier sollten Sie einfach eine Liste zur persönlichen Auswahl erstellen. Was besonders gut war, uns wurde direkt angeboten eine kostenlose Breakfastbox mitzunehmen, da wir sonst wegen einer Tour unser Frühstück verpassen würden. Guter Sevice.

Beautiful resort in a remote place. Get ready for high end pricing. Food is nice, but for the price average. There was a special dinner during the time of our visit, starring a Michelin chef from Zwitserland. That dinner was extremely disappointing. Breakfast is high end. Spa services are extremely overpriced, but good quality (but in nice resorts in Ubud they are comparable and half price). One big remark: the pool temperature (public pool and private pool) is too low. And staff is not able to fix it. For such a property quite a faux pas. Forget your floating breakfast; you will not be able to stay in the water till the end. Shuttle service limited and stops after 3 pm (so you won’t go anywhere else😉). Taxi is easy alternative by the way. 30 minutes till center.

Best service ever! Value was incredible, I would expect to pay three times as much here. The food was good, but not quite on the level of the quality of the rest of the resort, although the French toast was incredible! And the views… are you kidding me!!!

The Como Shambhala Estate is without doubt one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed at. Just returned from an amazing 5 day stay on my own on the integrated wellness programme and cannot begin to describe how rested and rejuvenated I feel. Everything at the property and the service is geared to provide you with a first class and holistic wellbeing retreat. From the grounding energies of the property high above in the jungle forest, the nourishing soulful meals (that tastes as good as it looks) and the amazing treatments at the spa, it’s simply hard to wonder how they could make this offering any better. Everything is meticulously and carefully thought through (the gardens, the programs offered and even down to the plating of each dish!) with a service that is always warm and unassuming. The healing natural spring pools at Kedara was an absolute highlight and where I spent a few tranquil afternoons resting and swimming. A big shout out to Ayis and Meida for their kind hospitality, and to Yasmini, Ani and Rahayu who looked after all my meals so wonderfully. And of course Prasanth the wellness manager who is terrific. Well done to the Como Shambhala Estate management and staff team for creating an unparalleled luxury wellbeing retreat. I cannot wait to come back. It was simply perfect.

It was an amazing experience with Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape, I really love the concept and interior of the resort. Food is specially curated by chef and it’s delicious, love the spa/massage trea**ents where it surrounded by nature, so peaceful with the sounds of nature. Once again, thank you for the great hospitality. It was truly an incredible and unforgettable experience.

We book a villa with 2 bedroom. First room has bath tub + shower room, for 2nd room shower only. The first room very very nice, big bed & very soft. Including private swimming pool, and have outdoor living room, dining table & small kitchen set. The villa price is affordable compare to another nearby. I stay on November which is on wet weather, so on night time have a lots of laron, quite shock on the morning because I experienced the outdoor full of laron 😵💫 But the helper come to clean it away directly when we ask. It’s ubud ~ we blend with nature living.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are well appointed with a work area, comfy chair and some balcony furniture. The bathroom has a window which overlooks the bed and the balcony but there is a blind you can pull down. The bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. There isn't much sound proofing and we were near the lobby and restaurant so we heard a lot of noise in the morning when we tried to sleep in but from 10 pm to 6 am there wasn't much noise thankfully. The resort is kind of a small wellness and they have some activities like ping pong, a levelled pool area, suction cup archery, badminton and coconut bowling. The breakfast restaurant was quite good and offered a good variety of Asian, western and vegetarian options. I was excited to see and try snake fruit for the first time and was able to find something to enjoy each day. Eggs and soup are made to order but each station took a little bit of time to get our orders out each time. The dal curry was a highlight and they had a good rice dish each day as well. We also tried the pool bar and it was great for an afternoon snack and cocktail after a full day being in Ubud. The hotel location isn't the best and we were there during a busy couple of days for ceremonies and tourists which made getting in and out of the hotel area very hard. It took us 2 hours to get to the airport from here and we spent a lot of time stuck in traffic instead of sightseeing due to congestion. A restaurant which would normally be a 15 minute drive took us 40 minutes to get to. The hotel is about a half an hour walk to Ubud Centre but they offer a scheduled shuttle service to Ubud Centre and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary but you have to book at reception and there's only 10 seats per shuttle. We found we couldn't get as much done as we wanted to in Bali due to the congestion in Ubud as it took a considerable amount of time for drivers to get to us and we weren't comfortable with driving a scooter with so much traffic. The hotel did offer bicycles but the infrastructure is not that good around the hotel for walkers let alone bicyclists. The service was prompt at the hotel. We had a late but efficient check in and they offered us coupons for their laundry service and massage. We ran out of water but they would bring us as many as we wanted any time of day which was super nice. They offered to bring our luggage to the room and stored it while we are breakfast prior to an early pickup.

Our stay was amazing. The room was spectacular and so was the view. The staff were were friendly and helpful. The food was really nice. Everything about the hotel was above standard. The only downside was the spa was a little bit expensive
