Hotel berhampiran Zeno Cafe di Bangkok

This place was just awful. After looking at the place on booking.com I thought it seems good. I got there looked at the room and thought I was in some hellhole. The room was old, the cupboard door fell of when I tried to open it, the bathroom was old and the whole feel was dingy that it almost bordered on creepy. The pictures they give you are at night to hide all the flaws. During the daytime it looks like it's been through the Bombing of Berlin, no one's made any effort to make it even look or feel half decent. They promote it as a 4 star hotel, nonsense it's 1 star. Most things they advertise that entice you to stay aren't even true. They say it has room service, nope a bar, nope, a kitchen, a coffee shop, nope it doesn't have any of these things. As for all those lovely pictures of towels made up as Swans on the bed, complete fabrication. This place may as well have been a drug den. I asked to be upgraded to to an Executive Room. Got up there, just a standard room in any 3 star hotel, if you were an Executive I'd be looking for another job. I lasted one hour and got the hell out of there, it's a dump pure and simple. I later found out it was used as a Quarantine hotel during Covid, they shunted them in and out. Don't even look at this place, it will ruin your holiday, old bathroom and a central light in the bedroom that's as old as the building itself (straight from the 70s). They give all these fantastic pictures of meeting and conference rooms, all nonsense. Oh, and BTW, there's no safe in the room for your belongings either, on top of the insult of this place, they charge you 3000 Baht to hire a storage locker like you're in a some train station. The staff dress shabbily none of those photos with door staff in uniform, they look like they could be cleaning staff. I went to my next hotel and the man behind reception just laughed and said ”oh, awful, awful place”. Hellhole, avoid at all costs.

Kemudahannya sangat lama, jadi bersiaplah. Terdapat seekor burung di luar tingkap yang telah lama mati, hanya tinggal bulunya sahaja. Pengangkutan adalah mudah, dan anda boleh menaiki BTS terus di depan pintu. Sarapan pagi hampir tidak sedap dan kopi tidak dikisar baru. Saya ingin mendapatkan beg untuk meletakkan pakaian kotor, tetapi papan tanda mengatakan bahawa untuk perlindungan alam sekitar, mereka tidak menggunakan beg dobi plastik, tetapi menggunakan beg kain boleh guna semula. Jika anda perlu mengambilnya, sila bayar XX yuan. Saya terfikir sendiri bahawa saya mempunyai rasa perlindungan alam sekitar yang kuat, tetapi mengapa terdapat dua beg plastik di dalam tong sampah? Saya hampir meminta mereka mendapatkan beg sampah untuk digunakan.

Hotel is in the prime location but as per the photos in the app while booking it was not like same. This is first time when a hotel charge for luggage handling when you checkout and go for 3 to 4 hours outside before taking the flight. Beds are making sound while you take a side also.

I went to check in late afternoon around 5.20 pm. After getting into the room no. 202 we instantly found that the room wasn’t cleaned up yet(or maybe it was still occupied)!! This is unacceptable. We were so shocked. The bed, pillow, blanket...etc were still messed and not made (luckily nobody was in the room) We then were assigned to another room which was 204. This room was okay. One good point that the male staff did apologize us but he said that maybe the system was inaccurate!! Thinking of our check in time at 5+ pm which was pretty late already, they should have checked and prepared the room for the arriving guest. Imagine if there was someone in the room when we entered, what would have happened? พักครั้งแรกก็ไม่ประทับใจ เข้าพักระหว่าง 6-7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 ไปเช็คอินประมาณ 17.20 น. (ซึ่งก็ถือว่าช้าแล้ว) พอเปิดประตูเข้าไป ห้องแรก 202 สภาพที่เห็นคือห้องถูกใช้แล้ว เตียงนอน ที่นอน ผ้าห่ม ฯลฯ อยู่ในสภาพที่ยังไม่ได้ทำความสะอาด เลยรีบออกมาและแจ้งพนักงาน พนักงานก็รีบหาห้องใหม่ให้คือ 204 (ห้องนี้ปกติ) พอลงไปสอบถามพนักงานว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น พนักงานก็แจ้งว่าไม่ทราบเหมือนกัน เพราะเขาทำงานแค่เสาร์-อาทิตย์ แต่น่าจะเป็นที่ระบบ?? ขนาดเราว่าเรามาเช็คอินช้าแล้ว และโรงแรมก็ไม่ได้เต็มหรือยุ่งมาก แสดงว่าก่อนเราเข้าพัก ทางโรงแรมฯ ไม่ได้เช็คหรือเตรียมห้องไว้ล่วงหน้าเลย ยังโชคดีที่ตอนที่เราเข้าไปห้องแรก ไม่มีลูกค้าคนอื่นอยู่!! สิ่งที่ตามมาคือ คืนนั้นทั้งคืนมันก็ทำให้เรานอนไม่หลับสนิท เพราะระแวงว่าโรงแรมฯ จะส่งลูกค้าคนอื่นมาซ้ำห้องเราอีกไหม (First impression is the last impression) อยากให้โรงแรมฯ ตรวจสอบและหามาตรการระมัดระวังไม่ให้เกิดเหตุการณ์แบบนี้เกิดขึ้นอีกในอนาคต ปล.พนักงานผู้ชายที่เป็นคนเช็คอิน รับมือกับสถานการณ์ได้ดี หาห้องใหม่เปลี่ยนให้ พูดจาเพราะและขอโทษหลายครั้ง

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room is spacious for a couple, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The location is excellent, just a 1-minute walk to the BTS (Skytrain). There are pubs nearby, but you don't need to worry about noise. The Boat Noodle Alley is also just a few minutes away. However, there is still room for improvement when it comes to the facilities. Firstly, the bathtub drains slowly. Secondly, the amenities provided are not perfect; they don't provide toothpaste, cups, and a kettle. Thirdly, the hallway is a bit creepy as there are some old-style wardrobes there. But overall, it is a fantastic experience.

I have stayed there for a few times already and never failed to give a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel and the staff attitude was great and welcoming. The design of this hotel is luxury as well with a very vintage look. Honestly I think the price is very reasonable as well for a hotel like this. With washing machine, microwave and etc.

This is my 3rd visit to the hotel, and it’s my wives favorite too. The hotel is right by Chinatown, but just far enough way, not to feel congested when crowded. The hotel has everything you need if you don’t feel like getting out, but walking distance for most all needs. The staff is amazing and view from room is nice. The room is nice, clean, and bed sleeps well too.

Great location in Silom Samyan. It’s only a 5-min walk from the MRT Samyan Station. Samyan Mitrtown Shopping Centre, just right across the road from the hotel, has a big food court, many shops and a supermarket. Walking about 15 minutes or taking 5-min taxi ride can go to the local food paradise Patham Wan. There, you will find Michelin local food stalls like Jeh O Chula serving hotpot Mama noodles and J Aoi Som Tum serving traditional and new-style spicy Thai mango salad. The facilities like the swimming pool and gym are nice. Don’t forget to book the massage service at the lobby Let’s Relax Spa. 👍🏻👍🏻

First and foremost it should be stipulated up front you need a CASH deposit (1000 baht). Very clean and modern hotel room. Overall good value for the price considering it has a microwave and a full fridge/freezer. No utensils, though. 2 bottles of water and coffee packets provided The bathroom is a bit small but just right for one person with enough space to manuever from the toilet, shower,and sink. Soap provided Surprisingly there is no safe in the unit. The bed is a typical Thai hard bed. There is an attempt to make it softer by using a mattress topper but it is still stiff. Shower is decent. 7 Eleven is a 3 minute walk away. Very inaccurate that there is an ”airport shuttle”. What they offer is to drop you off at a Sky Train Station. You still need to walk to Departure area. The sign in the lobby says the airport shuttle is 800BAHT one way which is absolutely ridiculous! Although the airport is 3km away, it took 18 minutes and cost 148 baht on GRAB to be dropped off right in the departure lane. Recommend downloading the GRAB app and don't bother with the hotel shuttle service I found the front desk staff and security to be hospitable and had no concerns with the service.
