If you want to experience the true charm of a traditional local inn, this is the perfect place. The architectural style is stunning and gives you a real sense of the local culture, yet the rooms are incredibly clean and well-maintained. A major highlight for our group was the bathroom setup—having a proper Western-style sitting toilet made the trip completely stress-free for the elders in our family. The staff members were brilliant; they speak wonderful English, making everything from check-in to asking for local advice effortless. Their warm, localized care made us feel right at home, and the cute little garden is a wonderful touch. I would gladly book this hotel again!

Stayed one night at the Hyatt Centric Chengdu and left genuinely impressed. The hotel strikes a nice balance between modern design and warmth and the room was well-appointed, clean. What stood out most was the staff. Yuki in particular was exceptionally friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, offered thoughtful local recommendations, and did so with genuine warmth rather than rehearsed hospitality. That kind of attentiveness is rare and made a real difference to the experience. There is also a schnauzer called Lucky, and is a residnet dog at the hotel. Super cute! Breakfast was great, lots of Chengdu delicacy as options and great western choices too. This is definitely my top choice for a Chengdu stay!

Great location. Housekeeping was very friendly. Laundry room had lots of machines. Neighbor were a bit loud and were smoking. Overall good experience

The location is really great, not too far from the metro and touristic places but also in a quiet area where you could find many restaurants and shops. The room is clean and decorated with good taste. The service is incredible. The coffee/bar area is also very great. The only point is the swimming pool area in middle of the coffee corner : not very intimist so we didn’t use the pool. Maybe just arrange a bit this area to make the pool more enjoyable. Here’s a revised version of the review with that detail smoothly added: ⸻ Xingye Snow Mountain Manor – Comfortable Stay with Hot Springs, but Snow-Dependent Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is located about a 30–40 minute drive from Xiling Snow Mountain. We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.

The room is cozy! Toilet is clean and the shower pressure is strong. They provide alcohol wipe, ear plugs and even ensure that the room is sanitised (there’s a card beside the bed). You can still hear some noise from the corridor but the earplugs help. The hairdryer is from laifen. Location wise it’s just a short walk from exit F (stairs only at this exit though) of Chengdu Second People's Hospital Metro Station (line 4 & 3. It’s an interchange station so you get more options for your train travel which is a big plus). Walkable distance to chunxi road and there’s even 2 small supermarkets just 1-2 mins walk opposite the hotel. The washing machine and dryer works well and there’s laundry detergent provided too

Pretty unique stay with it's decor. Room looked nicer in the photos because the lighting in the actual room was inconsistent with white and yellow bulbs. A standing lamp and the latch on a window were broken, but they fixed both the following day. They kept reassuring me it's safe (the broken latch meant the window couldnt be closed) but as a solo traveller it's still best to err at the side of caution. Plus it meant I couldn't block outside sound, and was actually woken from my nap by food wrapper noises by someone on the balcony (it's shared). For extras, the ******* clothing is actually free, 'oxygen' meant aircon, you have to remind them on the welcoming gifts, so the only thing I'd is worth paying the extras for is their handmade tsampa and butter tea. Pretty filling and you can have it as breakfast (though you might not be used to the taste haha) Overall a good experience because of their friendly service, good attitude, and always having a smile on their face. I suggest for them to be proactive in telling the guests on what their extras are and how to request fro them, instead of the other way around.

Tempat letak kereta sentiasa menjadi perhatian apabila memandu, tetapi tempat letak kereta percuma di sini adalah luas dan mudah dicari. Kami hanya boleh berjalan beberapa langkah dari kereta dengan bagasi kami, menjimatkan banyak masalah. Melangkah ke dalam bilik adalah kejutan yang lebih besar. Penyaman udara pusat dikawal dengan tepat, menjadikannya sangat selesa walaupun dalam cuaca musim luruh yang berubah-ubah. Bekalan air panas sangat baik, tersedia 24/7 dengan tekanan yang kuat dan suhu yang stabil, menjadikannya sangat mudah untuk mencuci dengan anak-anak. Internet berkelajuan tinggi adalah sempurna untuk kelas dalam talian kanak-kanak dan kerja orang dewasa, tanpa sebarang kejatuhan. Bahagian yang terbaik ialah bilik mahjong atas bumbung. Selepas menyelesaikan anak-anak pada waktu petang, seisi keluarga boleh bermain mahjong tanpa mengganggu rehat kanak-kanak, sekaligus menghilangkan kepenatan perjalanan. Butiran bercakap lebih kuat daripada perkataan; kami pasti akan memilih tempat ini lagi untuk perjalanan seterusnya!

I have always enjoyed staying at The Rtiz-Carlton. However, this time was remarkably exceptional. After a long day at the mountains, my friends and I needed a good rest. We were so touched by the hospitality and greetings from every hotel staff there. Checking in was a brisk process by Mr Owen Wong. He was attentive with my special request and escalated it to the hotel manager, Bruce Ma, whom upgraded our stay. The breakfast had a variety of spread, which was worth looking forward to every morning. Finally, I was so impressed by how the hotel had a unique fragrant smell. Thank you for making our stay an unforgettable one!

Bilik itu sangat comel! Saya menempah bilik keluarga pada harga yang sangat berpatutan. Ia bersih dengan suasana yang hangat dan selesa. Terdapat kafe dengan kopi dan banyak aktiviti untuk dinikmati. Mudah untuk dilalui — berhampiran dengan IFS dan berhampiran Jalan Chunxi. Secara peribadi, saya menyukainya!
