PPengguna TetamuWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the hostess team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—they were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely warm.
The location is fantastic, 20-25 minutes walking distance to east gate of Zhangjiajie, beautiful view along the way. Great facilities nearby hotel made everything so convenient. Whether it was dining, shopping, or just exploring the area, everything was within easy reach.
Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. You can tell the staff really cares about cleanliness and guest experience.
What truly stood out, though, was how we were treated like family throughout our stay. That level of hospitality is rare and made the entire experience feel extra special.
Highly recommend—definitely a 5-star experience!

ВВиктория ;₽This was one of the most atmospheric places we stayed at during our trip to Zhangjiajie.
The hotel is located in a very scenic mountain area, away from the crowds, yet still conveniently close to Wulingyuan. Even the road there sets the mood, with beautiful green hills and rock formations all around.
The room is cozy with panoramic windows, and the view is simply incredible. Right from the room, you can see majestic mountains and cliffs. In foggy weather, everything looks especially magical - like being inside a traditional Chinese painting. It was such a pleasure to sit with a cup of tea and just enjoy the view.
The food definitely deserves a special mention - everything was fresh and very вкусно, with a good variety for breakfast and plenty of options to choose from. You can really tell the meals are prepared with care.
Another highlight is the animals: there are 6 cats and 3 dogs living on the property. They are very friendly and calm, adding a warm and homely touch to the stay.
The staff are very attentive and helpful, always doing their best to make the stay comfortable. Special thanks for helping us purchase tickets to the parks - it made everything much easier.
Overall, this is a perfect place for those who want to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time in a peaceful and beautiful environment. We would definitely love to come back!

Mmichael favilaOur stay at this hotel was more than a 10 out of 10. It was inexplicably wonderful. You simply have to experience it for yourself.
The exceptional service began with our premium pickup from the train station directly to our Nordic two-bedroom home. Each morning, we were greeted by the stunning view of the park: sun rising behind the mountains, bird songs and forest sounds, peaceful sunrises, and drifting fog.
We are deeply grateful to
• Mr. Xiao, our concierge, for his attentive care with our meals and requests.
• Mr. Wu, our private tour guide who kindly asked what we are looking for and we said less crowds, relaxing experience, yet full of adventures. He then delivered beyond our dreams. He secured us access to a magnificent route typically reserved for country VIPs and we were the only visitors in the trail. The climb was thrilling, the views mesmerizing, and our drone footage is spectacular.
If you go, do request for Mr. Wu. His guidance turns our trip from great to legendary.

BBelleWQishi Li Cave Guesthouse was an exceptional place to stay that provides 24/7 butler/housekeeper service and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie.
The service was excellent, and the two housekeepers, Yuan-Yuan and Xiao Tang, were absolutely amazing. They provided support and assistance around the clock and were always helpful, caring, kind, and friendly. Xiao Tang in particular went above and beyond to help me find Chinese art paintings, as I was unfamiliar with the local shops. He also recommended great local restaurants, arranged pick-up and drop-off for us, and even helped us order dinner when we were too tired to go out, especially since I could not use the local food delivery apps or read Chinese.
Yuan-Yuan was also wonderful and very thoughtful. She kindly looked after my 16 years old son when he was too tired after our second day and stayed back at the guesthouse while I went sightseeing.
What impressed me most was how they helped plan our entire 3-day itinerary in Zhangjiajie. They bought tickets for the scenic areas and arranged a personal English-speaking tour guide for us. Everything was so well organised that I did not have to worry about anything at all.
The guesthouse itself is unique, clean and quite new, with an amazing atmosphere that feels calm, peaceful, and beautiful. The location is also excellent, just a 10-minute walk along the river to the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park at Wulingyuan.
This was truly a memorable stay. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel went above and beyond during my stay. Rain who first greeted us was helpful from the very beginning of the stay until the very end. The hotel provided a detailed route for the Zhangjiajie National Park and even provided transportation to the park and pick up once completed. In addition they assisted with the luggage during check in and check out. If flying or riding into Zhangjiajie, the hotel does offer setting up transportation to and from the hotel if needed at a very reasonable fee. The hotel offered a buffet breakfast and complimentary tea with the tea master, who was also amazing at making the stay feel very welcoming. Once the tea master and Rain found out it was my birthday they made my day one to remember. The tea master wrote me a congratulatory calligraphy scroll and set up a cake with Rain to be given to me as well. The hotel also offered activities every evening. On the day I was able to attend, they taught me how to make peach cookies which was so fun and delicious. The tea master also showed us how to do calligraphy while we waited for the cookies to be baked. Rain set up a Wechat with the staff where I was able to conveniently pre order dinner, which was super delicious. My favorite was the eggplant with pork. I can't express in enough words how everyone here made the stay the most enjoyable. For anyone visiting Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying here. I wish I could have spent more nights here to enjoy the entire resort such as the heated pool and sunset terrace.

DDennis HimuraI recently stayed at this hotel in Zhangjiajie and would like to share a balanced review based on my experience.
The strongest positive aspect of our stay was the dedication and availability of the staff member who assisted us throughout. It appeared that she was handling nearly all hotel operations on her own, which is quite impressive. She kindly picked us up at the train station, arranged a DiDi for our transfer to the airport, served us breakfast personally, and was always the point of contact whenever we needed assistance. Her effort and commitment truly stood out and made a meaningful difference in our stay.
However, there were several areas that left us disappointed.
Although the hotel is relatively new, approximately six years old, and intentionally designed with a vintage aesthetic, we consistently noticed a strong smell of humidity throughout the property. Additionally, there is a designated smoking area located at the beginning of the guest room corridor. This setup unfortunately allows smoke to circulate through the hallway, meaning that if one guest smokes, others inevitably smell it. It would be far more appropriate to position smoking areas outdoors and away from shared indoor spaces, ensuring comfort for all guests.
Another concern was the food service. There was a menu available for ordering dishes, but when we attempted to request a meal, we were informed that the cook had already left the hotel to travel for Chinese New Year, even though the holiday was still about two weeks away from our stay. It felt unusual that no substitute had been arranged during this period.
Breakfast was also below expectations. We understood it would not be a large or elaborate buffet, but when we arrived, there were no freshly prepared hot items. The eggs and bacon were heavily soaked in oil, and the remaining dishes did not appear fresh or appetizing. Overall, it gave the impression of reheated food rather than a properly prepared morning service.
Lastly, after checking the booking platform during our stay, I noticed that a higher-category room was being listed at a lower price than what we had paid. I inquired whether it would be possible to adjust the reservation or receive an upgrade. We were told that the platform had an error and that the room was not actually available. This explanation felt unclear, especially since the hotel appeared to have very low occupancy during our stay.
In summary, while we truly appreciated the exceptional effort of the staff member who supported us, there are operational and management improvements that would significantly enhance the guest experience.

The intelligent system is continuously upgraded to be more humanized, and the variety of free drinks is more abundant. The flowers and plants in the Air Garden change with the seasons, and the route to the scenic spot is familiar and friendly. What I care about most is the three cats - watching the kitten grow up slowly, this continuity of warmth is what a chain hotel cannot give. While maintaining high-end facilities, the inn always maintains the warmth of home, which is why I choose this place every time I come to Wulingyuan.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThis is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The host is so unbelievably friendly and kind, and the dinner was so good and I got to meet many travellers staying there too! It is my first time travelling solo and I met amazing people here. The hostel is within walking distance from the forest park’s east gate. There are a few restaurants less than a minute’s walk nearby. The hostel itself is very clean with sheets you can change yourself, as well as having a night light and foldable table. Toilets are shared among the same gender, shampoo and body wash is provided. There’s even a rooftop space for you to hangout at. I highly recommend staying here if you’re a solo traveller as you’ll feel so welcome here!
P.S. you can book tickets through the host as it is discounted as well!

It's beautiful, peaceful, friendly, and super convenient (10-minute walk) from the Middle Gate (Zimugang) of the park, which is MUCH less crowded than the East Gate. We had a luxury corner room with a terrace and a spectacular view, and a 2-person sunken jacuzzi tub (with jets!) which was heavenly after hiking all day. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and plentiful, and dinner was equally tasty. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the infinity pool with a view, but it looks gorgeous. A big shout-out to KEVIN, the receptionist/concierge who speaks excellent English. He helped up in every conceivable way - from ordering multi-day tickets with unlimited rides, to giving us drop-offs and pick-ups to and from the park entrance, to planning three perfect Zhangjiajie Scenic Area days! A thousand thanks, Kevin!
