Hotel Bari dengan Bar

Booked two deluxe rooms (one for single pax and the other for two pax) but was given two rooms of different sizes instead - not very impressed to say the least! Room decor has seen its better days to be honest! Plastic tables and chairs in the room for a 4-star property are pure cheapskates! Air conditioning still hasn’t been switched back on in late April when temperature already reaching low 20 Celsius! Had to stay and sleep in the room with window shut because of noisy disco noises nearby lasting beyond 2 am in the wee hours of Sunday morning ! Got ‘roasted and baked’ in the room with no ventilation as a result - not very ideal when covid is still raging! Still couldn’t understand why the hotel still insists on ‘no self-service’ for buffet breakfast - apparently in the name of covid! ‘Accidentally’ tried to pick up some breakfast items by myself on arrival as there was no sign on display stating the not-so-obvious ‘no self-service’ policy but was told off by one of 2 staff members on duty with plate being ‘snatched’ from my hands! The paradox being this practice caused long queue with only 2 staff members available to pick and dish out items for guests! Long queue and mass gathering of guests would not spread covid but picking up your own food with disinfected hands would apparently! Few ironic observations made though! The two specific staff members on food picking duty didn’t wear gloves at all when picking food with thongs for guests - is that even covid-safe??? One of the two members on that specific food picking duty went on to pick food for guests after clearing and cleaning up table with bare hands and then went over to do their food picking duty for other guests without washing or disinfecting their hands - covid safe I fear not??? If insisting on ‘no self-service’ policy, make sure you have sufficient staff to handle constant stream of guests coming in for breakfast! I was certainly being put off by either long queue or absent staff to help pick the food I wanted!

Bulunduğu yer harika. Heryere yürüyüş mesafesinde. Resepsiyondaki çalışanlar çok yardımcı oluyorlar. Kahvaltılar çok güzel, taze ve göz doldurucu idi. Restaurant çalışanları Güleryüzlü ve yardımcı olmaya çalışıyorlar. Otel odalarının duvarları ince ve ses yalıtımı iyi sayılmaz. Gezginler için çok güzel bir yer. Odadaki resme bayıldım.

Les chambres sont très modernes et très propres, le petit déjeuner est bon, l’hôtel est bien situé à côté d’une plage de plus il y’a plein de bus qui mènent vers la ville. La navette de l’hôtel vers la vieille ville est gratuite, c’est top. On as beaucoup aimer la piscine, les frites de patate douce ainsi que les mijotos à déguster au bord de celle ci. Le personnel est parfait , et mention spéciale pour Vito , le pool boy extrêmement gentil et très serviable

Everybody said the breakfast was amazing, we 100% agree! The best breakfast we ever had, as a very experienced traveler. We love this hotel and won’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Abbiamo trovato per caso questo beb è devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo. Gentilissimo il ragazzo che ci ha risposto al telefono e accolto poi al nostro arrivo. Camera spaziosissima è molto pulita. Colazione super fatta nel bar sotto Jerome com cappuccino e brioche da urlo 😋. Posizione comodissima anche perché il parcheggio convenzionato a 2 min a piedi è perfetto. Sarà sicuramente la nostra prima scelta quando torneremo a Bari. Unico consiglio che do alla proprietà è quella di avere un occhio in più sulla manutenzione ed usura delle cose in camera ma cose davvero semplici. Un saluto alla prossima volta. As part of a group tour of Southern italy, we arrived in Bari and stayed at the only 5 star hotel in Bari-the iH hotels Bari Grande delle Nazioni, situated conveniently on the Lungomare. it was a nice sized hotel with a large lobby. The room I received was large, clean, spacious with a lot of natural light and high ceilings. The floor was wood, no carpets anywhere. The decor is somewhat dated but functional. It came with a large double bed, not too soft and there was a nice sized wide screen TV to view opposite the bed. . On the bed, there was a packet containing a robe and slippers. The bathroom is spacious, a lot of natural light and a toilet, bidet. and a shower with good water pressure. There was a large free standing closet [there are no built in closets in Italy] and in terms of temperature control, the room was comfortable. [This could be adjusted] A safe is in the bottom of the closet. Full mini bar. Room service was available if so desired and there was an electric coffee pot and adequate coffee and tea service but this lacked stirrers of any kind and powdered cream. You had to drink coffee black.[Caveat: clean the electric coffee pot out before you decide to use it.] Snacks were available for purchase. Steps are not clearly marked throughout the hotel and bannisters are at a minimum so one must be careful when walking. The floors are marble and one step is not clearly discernable from the next. Walk carefully, a fall could ruin your vacation. The breakfast was located on the 6th floor and was delicious with many choices-fresh fruit, croissants, breads of many kinds, prosciutto, fresh cheeses, etc. We had dinner with the group at this hotel since it was our first night there and the food and wine choices were superb-the appetizer we had was a penne pasta al dente peppered with cherry tomatoes and a tangy sauce. The entree was roasted chicken over potatoes with gravy. The Puglian wines were excellent. Overall, it was a very nice stay and i would recommend and return.

Our travel agent booked the Boston for us. Front desk was very helpful. It was a nice surprise to find a few complimentary items for snacks. Our room is comfortable and clean. There are usb ports by each side of the bed. It is lacking in room lights and little to no counter space in the bathroom. Beds are firm. The AC is so-so but all our ACs on this trip have been so-so. Note, hairdryers are not provided but they will bring you one if you ask the front desk.

AC doesn’t cool well, WiFi too week to use, elevator walls stained and dirty, carpets worn, no outlets by the bed, windows blocked by concrete panels, no shelf in the shower…the place just needs a total face lift. Shame on my tour company for booking me here. I won’t be using Firebird Tours again.

l'hotel est très beau, les chambres également, le jardin et la piscine aussi, MAIS le cadrage des photos sur internet ”oublie” l'environnement industriel, la route à 4 voies en sortie du site. Par Contre l'hôtel étant à 5 km de Bari et à plus de 3 des premiers restaurant; ils font une prise d'otage... menu unique sans choix . lasagne les plus horribles déjà mangés- ai voulu changer une glace insipide pour des fruits (qu'ils servent au petit déjeuner ) impossible; choix de vin idem 1 blanc 1 rouge et 2 rosés à la carte; Le pire : le petit déjeuner buffet pour le sucré, code barre pour commander : le beurre, les tranches de pain, le jus de fruit et le salé; Alors que du personnel en salle pas possible avec ce système d'avoir 2 tranches de pains de mie grillées SANS l'ajout soit de fromage fondu, soit de jambon, soit de jambon avec fromage fondu...
