This is our first time with Microtel by Wyndham Baguio. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with my family, we had an incredible experience. The area and room are clean, the lobby smells wonderful. The complementary breakfast was also good, the taste, servings, and selection were acceptable. The Wi-Fi is okay, but sometimes it's cutting in and out (we stayed on the lower ground). But one thing made this hotel superb is the people. The staff from the front desk are professional, reliable, and courteous. The housekeepers greet you with a smile, even the security guards are hospitable. The location was also a big plus. We will definitely be back. Keep it up 😀

From the frontdesk to the bartender we appreciate the really good service and hospitality from the staff. I would also love to feauture an employee named Chris, a bartender who gave us a really good experience. He was very charismatic and was smiling throughout our stay he was able to create meaningful conversations which makes us feel comfortable. He even entertained us while making drinks which I think is very difficult. He was also able to share “lady drinks” which was a creative drink we really loved. If I were to meet people like him whenever I visit a luxury lounge, I would want to always spend my money there. Another employee named Jeremy is really quick-witted, he gives off a very calm and gentle service which we love because he attends to us very quickly, he even initiates service without being asked to, like serving us water while waiting. Well trained employees, they are all unique but all of them are professional and competent at best. **I wasn’t able to take photos that much and I only have one sitting at the lounge area.

I love that the hotel is very central inside camp john hay. The room is amazing and immaculately clean! Staff are amazing. I would really want to rate it well. However for a 4 star hotel, you would not really expect a power outage. The first one was quick and the power turned on within 3 minutes. The second one lasted for about 20 minutes and as of this writing there’s another power outage (3rd one) . We called during the power outage and we were told originally that the generator is being turned on. However, the delay in getting the generator up and running was much longer than the expected time to turn on the generator. Given the hotel’s price and rating, I anticipated a more reliable experience. TBH the power outage is a bit unsettling . Hopefully this is not a common occurrence because we have a flashlight on our bedside( which is unusual to see on other hotels) . I would not want to experience being stuck in the elevator while there’s a power outage. If you’re a solo traveller, you might want to consider whether you’re comfortable waking up to power outages in the middle of the night.

We stayed for a week (7d 6n) It was a charming hotel that overlooks the mountainous Baguio City. Staff were accommodating, professional and friendly. My only downside is that there’s no shuttle to pick us up or drop us off to our preferred destination especially one night that we finished shopping at SM Baguio not so late at around 8 or 9pm and there were no taxicabs around. We were neglected by the SM’s dispatcher so freezing and inconvenient as it is, I called the hotel to pick us up since we were having a hard time booking a grab taxi. It is always drivers are busy all the time. The first lady at front desk wasn’t that helpful. She just gave a “wala na kaming magagawa” answer but the second front desk lady was accommodating and went the extra mile so kudos to her. Shout out to our housekeeper lady Grace who also is friendly and courteous and gave us all the amenities we needed. Replenished our sheets reqularly. Above all it was an above average stay but not as perfect since there were minor areas like, the bathroom sewer stinks, which I think they are aware of, no shuttle, the balcony is fine coz we were at the corner facing both the vines with some noisy construction workers chatting but tolerable and pine trees on your right. You have to lean over to get a good view but be extra careful for you might fall to your death. It was a charming and promising hotel. We might consider to comeback and tell this to friends, relatives and close loved ones.

The room is superb, clean, smell good and big. The balcony with breathtaking view. The staff is so polite and best service given to each guest. The restaurant is super good (you must try the steak). Overall experience was really great. All staffs from first encounter from the Front Desk are courteous and friendly. Japanese resto at the 9th floor is too expensive and food is not authentic especially ramen. There are so many foods not available in the menu thinking there is not much guests eating there. Security Guards dont go the extra mile getting a cab/ taxi when you need it. They dont even bother with the queue of cars upon arrival.

We requested the changes in our booking through Ms. Katherine Perez last Saturday, 18 May 2024. We informed her that since my sister and her husband confirmed to join us , hence we requested for the revision of our reservation. We told her we saw the ad that costs P7,500 in one room and we would like to avail that promo. She assisted us for the booking and informed us that we will be paying additional amount of P3,375.00 which we agreed to pay upon check in. She only emphasized to us that we can no longer avail for the privilege discount of the seniors since we are already availing the hotel''s promo. She even sent us an email as proof of the balance amount we have to settle. However, when we arrived at the check in counter, they are already charging us extra for the 4th person which is not what was discussed to us by Ms. Perez. In the end, we are at the losing end and just have no choice but to pay because she was not allowed by Mr. Cabajar, Assistant Front Office Manager to speak to us to give clarification about the matter. There's no problem for us to pay the right amount as long as it is properly disclosed with us in the beginning . It is even our wedding anniversary that we chose your hotel for us to celebrate and unwind. We didn't expect that we will be disappointed in a way. Where is the saying that I just hope no more client/patron would ever feel the same way.

We stayed at the 456 Hotel for three nights as it was recommended by a friend. But before I review the property, I'll first of all address the 500 peso fee to use the air conditioners: this should be posted on the hotel page in *******, Agoda etc and I get understand people's annoyance at that. However, this is Baguio City, you probably won't need an AC and the electric fan provided is more than adequate if you get a bit hot after a walk up the hill. Now that that's out of the way... The 456 Le Grand is a budget hotel that is a ten minute downhill walk to Burnham Park. Staff are polite, competent and greet you throughout the building. Breakfast is ordered at reception each morning and takes no more than 15 minutes to arrive. (It's cooked to order). In the meantime, you can help yourself to unlimited brewed coffee which tasted great - and there is also iced tea / fruit juice available too. There is a Chinese restaurant that we didn't visit but the menu looked great. The gym is a mess and needs to have its equipment repaired - but that being said, a one hour loop around the Burnham Park and back up the hill to the hotel will burn 500 calories with the elevation and the mountain air is great. The rooms are clean and while the bed came with only two soft pillows, a quick call to reception and two more were provided with no fuss. As I said, it's a budget hotel so don't expect miracles. However, if you want a clean place to stay with friendly staff and access to the city centre just a short stroll away then you can't go wrong with the 456 Hotel. We will be using again for sure.

I was already checked out, The Front desk office called me and informed me that I forgot to pay for the food room service that we ordered which I also oversee, but my point was that I waited for how many minutes because they were already checking my accounting but still wasn't included yet when she cleared me. upon calling she instructed me to deposit via bank transfer and send the proof to their email but the email that she sent was incorrect and kept on bouncing back to me and she kept on calling and following it up if I already pay the balance, which for me its no longer my fault because she has all the time to check my transaction and return to my initial deposit.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel retains the good cabin feels. All rooms now have air-conditioning units. Availed of the 50% off promo and I was worried that will be getting a non-AC room. Recent renovations have been made. Pros: 1. Accessibility Right in front of SM Baguio. Easy to go in and out to get supplies. Session Rd is just nearby. 2. Pet-friendly They charge 500 pesos per pet and per night. Comes with pet bed, potty trainer, and dog bowl. There’s a pet shop and grooming service in the parking area. 3. Hot Shower Enjoyed the long bath with the reliable supply and water pressure. 4. Hill Station While not pet friendly (we were asked to leave to dogs in the room), perhaps the best restaurant in Baguio is just downstairs. Cons: 1. Small and Noisy Road-side Rooms While the rooms are small, it’s basically designed just a place to sleep in. It has a study table and the fridge and water are tucked away in the cabinets. Carpeted but clean all throughout. Was expecting the bathroom to be tired and dingy but to my surprise, it was squeaky clean. Avoid the rooms facing the street as it is now sound-proof. Small TV and cable signal fades. 2. Limited Parking Space Since the hotel houses the popular Hill Station, patrons can easily crowd the parking area. Staying here is kinda 50/50 experience and a compromise I must say. Just matter of knowing what you want to prioritize. In my case, convenience, accessibility, and most importantly, pet-friendly. While it was not the most restful stay, Casa Vallejo captures the old Baguio charm. Something the newer hotels won’t be able to replicate.

BBenedictThis is a newer hotel and still have construction going on. You have to drive through the circular parking to get to the main entrance. There is a free shuttle to bring you to the main road. The breakfast is okay. The room is huge and clean but there is no pool and I don’t see a lot of guest in the lobby so very quiet and like dead. It’s further away from downtown.

PPengguna TetamuBest value for the space. Stayed here with friends years ago. Came back with family. Air conditioned room good for 5 adults and 1 infant. Upon entering the room, looks it had it shares of fun times already. But once the lights are open and blinds are up and Aircon is open the room feels more homey. They have ample parking space but best to get to park out the lobby. Basement parking is quite cramped and also stinks of cigarette even if there were a bunch of no smoking sign. The hallway also sometime smells like cigarettes. Initially was informed that breakfast was plated but it was buffet breakfast. Breakfast had cereals, chicken soup on both days, two kinds of rice, 3 kinds of viands, diy salad and two kinds of fruits. Coffee, hot chocolate, juice and water. Everything was edible but not that good. 😆 location is also good since baguio has number coding on weekdays. Having ascending part of session road closed was a bit hassle but easy to go around. Beds were comfy, restroom was clean enough. Elevator in hotel is not working 24 hours unless you have bags need to be lifted. Overall nice stay. Budget and comfort was hit 🎯

Staffs were all friendly and accomodating. FREE breakfast selection and quality were superb! Will definitely booking this hotel if ever we go back to Baguio.

PPengguna TetamuI booked this place because I want someplace that is not city-like but not far from the city center. They have pine trees and gardens surrounding the property. We came when typhoon Doksuri (Egay) was signal number 1. The whole city had a black out but Log Cabin had a generator so we had no problem with the electricity. They have a restaurant so wee ate a late lunch on our arrival and even had supper there and of course breakfast buffet was included. We were not able to stroll in the garden because of the typhoon. Bed was so comfy. I would have slept more if I did not have things to do. Of course room did not need air conditioning since this is in Baguio. Our room size was comfortable. We can move around. They also had nice towels and our toiletries were restocked.

CClarenzD26Been checking in here regularly since November for business purposes. This is actually a good hotel specially for a quick fix for a back to back meeting or a long days work. Rooms are clean and necessary sanitary protocols are intact specially being a rooms division manager and working in the industry for almost 12 years i can personally attest that they are maintaining cleanliness on their rooms... Wifi is good though you need to re log in every 5 min of down time,,, though again its good when in use... overall this hotel is really qualified for a 3-4 star review... unfortunately they hired a someone that pulls them down... a rotten apple mixed with good ones... their front office agent named “LYN” made our stay here terrible specially when shes on duty.. (We are having a pleasant stay though when shes on day off or areadly off duty) Take note that we are staying on this property for 5 or more times per month. At first meeting, she even mentioned they dont accept card transaction, as mentioned i told her that im a rooms div manager and i can see a credit card terminal, even offered to teach her how to use it. And yes!!! Its confirmed that she really doesn’t know how to use one. Next is fro a simple request for a simple shampoo, borrowing of extra slippers, all this request are all being denied by this front office agent named LYN... Oh did i forget to mention that its hard to contact the front desk when shes on duty on graveyard? Again we are exactly on point shes sleeping on duty!!! I just dont get the point why does lyn always ask for my id when checking in well in fact all of her colleagues does not do this as im already on their records,,, maybe she also doesn’t know to use the system... lastly we ordered food outside as their resto is close... ever since it is being directly delivered by their staff after the food is being handed to the fo... I dont know if her stupidity struck again and just decided to ask me to go down and pick it up even lying that she only has the guard with him,, after mentioning to her that its always being delivered here on our room, then instantly one of the hk guys gave it with all respect.. To the general manager of this eurotel property, maam / sir, this agent will pull your property down. I really hope that necessary actions will be done. I also understand that maybe she is just hired recently and lack of training is not given due to the pandemic. But being a seasoned hotelier, this type of attitudes are usually untrainable already specially for someone working upfront.. I guess we already know what im suggesting. The guy front office supervisor is someone to commend though adding the new hk male attendant,,,actually all of the staff except Lyn...again a rotten apple on a set of good ones.. 😔

We only took a jeepney and it has a lot of restaurants, other services near the place as its 5 min walk to session road and SM. The lobby was clean and the place is a old house facade but modern in the inside and the staff were friendly. They had Filipino and American breakfast and a good menu option for lunch. We both chose kare2 and I liked their meatball pasta. Not the typical tomato sauce. From the taste it is peeled tomatos. The only thing that I was surprised of was the room given to us since it was just almost right in front of the front desk. It's good because I can easily go to the lobby. Good thing that the Wi-Fi is strong enough to access my accounts. I only chose the Standard room because it was just the 2 of us and it was just a quick stay. The room itself was clean, the shower and faucet's heater were both working fine but no complimentary toothbrush and thootpaste. Restaurant is amazing and has a garden. The TV is Android with Netflix but you put your account but has a cable too. I can say that we had a good stay. Cleanliness and customer service are still two of my priorities when it comes to staycations. Thank you see you again soon.

MMiss_MarieHad a stay here for 2 nights with complementary breakfast and I could say that they serve tasty breakfast and the staff are friendly and accomodating. I arrived in Baguio very early but since I could check in later in the afternoon so I tried asking the receptionist if I can check-in early. The hotel became full house the night prior to my arrival so early check in was not amenable, however, they offered that I could leave my belongings so that it wont be a toil on me while I roam downtown while waiting for my check-in time. Toiletries and towels are provided except for bedrooom slippers, which I see as a very slight problem. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!👌🏻

JJohn AngelService was good overall, although there are things left to be improved. Room was comfy but for some reason, the fan is slow, which matters since there is no air conditioning. Breakfast is good, too. Location is walkable from SM and Session, which is good. A bit of noise from the construction site nearby and Baguio cathedral bells but nothing disturbing about it. It's a good budget hotel. One thing though, when we got to the hotel, the staff said they are not affiliated with Trip.com so our booking was rerouted to Agoda/Expedia, which was weird. We had to call Trip.com customer support to check.
