"I can't say anything negative abt this hotel. Upon arrival we were given a room in their old bldg. We requested a room change because the AC is hot provided we waited for hrs to keep the room cold. So we changed to a different room. and the room is clean. Just one thing they need to change the lavatory because there are signs of old aged. The breakfast buffet is good, meals are changed every day and it's really good. Special mention to Cindy from the resto, she is very welcoming and kind. She always smiles at guests like us . Would definitely.go back to this hotel! Location is very good. There are a lot of food stalls outside. near ARL and the bts"

"The hotel was not quite what I was expecting. The location is alright, a little far away from the Grand Palace. Roughly about a 40 minute drive via taxi. The hotel rooms are too noisy as there is a door that leads to the room next door which allows a lot of noise to come through. The hotel rooms do not have a typical door as one would expect. The door is a sliding door which doesn’t feel private. The air conditioning unit is also very noisy even on the lowest fan speed. The breakfast is fine. Your choices are eggs, chicken, noodles, fruit, cereal, toast and coffee."

"The room was spacious and spotless. The location is excellent, with a 7-Eleven conveniently located right downstairs and Central Rama 9 mall within walking distance. "Excellent BTS Access: The hotel is directly connected to the Phra Khanong BTS station via a walkway. This is an absolute game-changer in Bangkok's traffic. Getting to Sukhumvit, Siam, or Silom was incredibly easy and cheap.
Vibrant and Fun Design: True to the IBIS Styles brand, the hotel is bursting with color and quirky, playful artwork. It's not a bland, boring box – it has personality, which makes for a cheerful and memorable stay.
Surprisingly Good Breakfast: The included breakfast had a great variety for a hotel in this category. There was a mix of Western (eggs, sausages, pastries) and Thai options, along with a good coffee machine. It was perfect for fueling up before a day of exploration.
Great Value: For the price point, the combination of location, design, and included breakfast is very hard to beat. You get a lot more character andconvenience than at other budget chains. The great view and the bar near swimming pool make us chill.

MMiraI recently stayed here during a family trip to Bangkok, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We arrived just after midnight, yet the staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making check-in smooth and stress-free even at such a late hour. The service throughout our stay remained consistently excellent - warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
Our room was impressively spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and it felt like great value for the level of quality offered. One of the biggest highlights was the location - it’s directly connected to MBK Center via level 2, which made shopping, dining, and getting around so convenient. As a bonus, we were happy to find several halal food options just a short walk away, which made meals with the family so much easier. There's also BTS (train) next to MBK.
Even though this hotel isn't part of a well-known chain, it truly delivers a five-star experience in every way that matters - comfort, service, and convenience. The only small downside was that the concierge is located on level 2 rather than the main entrance, which made things slightly confusing at first. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience in an otherwise outstanding stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to families or anyone visiting Bangkok looking for a well-located, high-quality place to stay.

PProfXMost will note its central location between the Siam and Chit Lom BTS stations, a short walk away from the main shopping streets. But the Hyatt itself is a grand old dame that is its own experience, with great service, amazing facilities, comfortable amenities and an overall great experience. Strongly recommend for business travellers and families alike!

SSuofeiyaniCleanliness: The hotel is quite new, so it was very clean. We were initially in room 309, but due to a strong odor from the bathroom drain, we were promptly moved to room 615, which was much better. The front desk staff were excellent, very responsive and quick to resolve the issue.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to a nearby mall, but it's only one-way, which makes it less convenient and somewhat pointless without a return service.
Breakfast was fantastic! The noodle soup and congee were particularly good, and the service staff were prompt in clearing plates. There was also a wide variety of fruits, so much so that we couldn't possibly try them all.
Upon checking out, the bell staff proactively helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. Their service was exceptionally attentive and thoughtful.

GGuest UserI stayed in a deluxe double room with twin beds and a beautiful river view. Overall, the experience was excellent, though there were a few aspects of the room and facilities that could be improved:
- Bathroom layout: The sink is located outside the bathroom, in the hallway area of the room. For greater convenience and privacy, it would be better if the sink were integrated inside the bathroom itself.
- Privacy concerns for roommates: The bathroom features a glass wall with a blind, but the blind didn’t fully cover one side, leaving a small gap that could compromise privacy—though we personally weren’t concerned. A larger or better-fitting blind would be helpful.
- Air conditioning in the room: The unit was a bit noisy and could benefit from being quieter for a more comfortable stay.
- Window design: The large window panel is fixed, and while there is a smaller section that could theoretically be opened, it was locked for security reasons. Allowing guests to open it slightly for fresh air would be ideal.
- Soundproofing: Evening noise from the pool area and nearby party boats cruising the river was audible. Thankfully, the pool closes at night and boats stop cruising around 10pm, so it was very quiet afterward. Improved sound insulation on the windows would enhance comfort.
- Bathroom ventilation: The exhaust fan was quite weak and didn’t effectively remove odors.
- Air conditioning in common areas: The public spaces, like the lobby and restaurants, were a bit too cool—I found myself needing long sleeves indoors. Still, this is preferable to being overheated.
- Electronic light control panel: The lighting controls in the room were somewhat confusing and not very intuitive. A simpler, more user-friendly design would be appreciated.
That said, everything else was truly top-tier:
- Location: The hotel sits just outside the busier central areas of Bangkok, which might not appeal to those seeking more ”action”. However, it’s perfect for travellers seeking a calmer, more peaceful riverside setting. The river surroundings at night are gorgeous, and it’s within walking distance of Asiatique, making it easy to enjoy evening strolls, dining, and shopping.
- Hotel appearance: The property itself is stunning—elegant, modern, and beautifully designed throughout.
- Staff: The concierge, reception, waiters, and other staff were exceptional—warm, helpful, and professional.
- Welcome drinks and snacks: A thoughtful and much-appreciated touch upon arrival.
- Dining options: We tried the à la carte restaurant, which offered high-quality food with a wide variety of delicious options, featuring both authentic Thai and international cuisines. We did not try the buffet or the Chinese restaurants (more expensive).
- Breakfast buffet: Absolutely amazing, with an incredible variety of both local and international dishes including Japanese, Korean, Indian, and Western cuisines, plus delicious bakery options (both Western and Asian), a cheese station, fresh fruits, and even ice cream! The sheer variety was superb. Breakfast starts at 6am, which is very convenient for early departures on tours.
- Cafe/bar: They have a cafe/bar where you can buy cakes and sweets, with takeaway discounts after 6pm.
- Tour desk: Conveniently located next to reception, the tour desk provided excellent service. Communication was clear and prompt, and they organised all our tours seamlessly, making the process completely stress-free.
- Evening entertainment: piano player and singer
- Additional amenities: Complimentary Wi-Fi, free tuk tuk service to Asiatique (only to Asiatique and not back to the hotel but it's within walking distance), a gym, and a pool were all great extras.
Overall, this was a fantastic stay at a truly beautiful hotel. With just a few small improvements, it could easily be perfect.

GGuest UserThis hotel has the greatest location in the heart of Sukhumvit Bangkok. It is on Soi 22, and seated next to a great mall Emsphere. Emsphere offers 2 floors of Thailand Michelin level local food. So easy to find good food in this area.
Love the hotel breakfast, which I have enjoyed a good breakfast right after a morning gym session right next to the restaurant.
The room was neat and clean.
It will be my choice of hotel when I returned to Bangkok again.

TTraveling With DaniThe response from the front desk when I wanted to request airport pickup was slow. As such, I ended up needing to book separate arrangement upon arrival to get to the hotel. The staff were very nice, though it felt like we had some minor miscommunications, which left checkout feeling a bit awkward.
The location is far from the subway stations, but buses are available. There's also a lot of good cafes and restaurants nearby.
The room itself was clean, though the bathroom had a strange smell, even when I'd come back from touring the city all day. I would still recommend this room if you like a quiet space to relax after touring.

RRalph Mxoutstanding hotel hidden in the narrow streets of the Sukhumvit, everything in good shape, perfect conditions, all the personnel make an effort to provide an excellent service.
The room is remodeled and has a good distribution. They offer transportation during the day from the BTS station to the hotel and back (very convenient). There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and other service stores nearby.
Improvement areas: Disposable Slippers of very low quality (can not resist one night's use), the breakfast buffet is limited and small (the price is affordable).

I booked a Superior Room, but when I requested a higher floor, the staff handled it very professionally. Since there were no superior rooms available on higher floors, they upgraded me to a Deluxe Room — which was a really nice gesture! 😲👏
Overall, the service was satisfying, and the staff were friendly and responsive throughout my stay. The room itself was comfortable, quiet, and had good facilities.
However, the bathroom cleanliness really disappointed me — I actually saw cockroaches inside 😵😵💫. The hidden balcony area also looked poorly maintained (you can see it in my photo).
Aside from that, the hotel offered a pleasant stay with a good location, smooth check-in and check-out, and great service attitude. I’d recommend it for short stays — but they definitely need to improve bathroom hygiene.
