Ho soggiornato per tre notti presso questa struttura. Nonostante il nome che può trarre in inganno, la struttura è praticamente un albergo: le camere, sebbene con arredi datati, sono spaziose, tutte dotate di bagno privato ed aria condizionata. Discreto il livello di pulizia. Non è possibile fare colazione presso la struttura, ma la sua posizione centralissima (a cui è dovuta fondamentalmente la mia valutazione) consente di avere moltissima scelta circa soluzioni alternative. Il personale in reception è cordiale e disponibile.

Awesome location. Walking distance to La Ramba and La Boqueria. Metro is also walking distance so its easier to navigate around Barcelona. Clean place and good people at the reception.

This is what happens when hipster ideas of ”what's cool” meet get rich quick schemes and trump real life practicality. While the decor and ”quirkiness” initially seem cool, the poor experience with this hotel began right away. You need to download and register an app as there are NO KEYS. The app is glitchy, can't be registered with your email for some reason and is frustrating to set up. If you don't have TXT data in-country, you're screwed. Even the staff seemed fed up with it. Then unbelievably, THE STAFF LEAVE at 9PM and there is no support available or anyone on the premises until at least 8AM. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for any hotel and an obvious strategy to save wages at the expense of the guest. We ran into a distraught women who arrived after hours and she wasn't even told what room she was supposed to be accessing with the app. Poor communication overall. Also, It was very expensive for a minimalist experience. No coffee maker, one plastic glass, a tiny room, a plywood door on the bathroom, no luggage rack, cheap finishings, no towel racks, etc. Like had the person who designed this every actually stayed in a hotel? Everything is done on the cheap in this place. While the sheets were clean, the consumer-grade Ikea bed is NOT COMFORTABLE and moves and makes noises if you do ;) The air conditioner would blow air around weakly but would not cool or dehumidify so the place felt damp all the time and the air quality ******. Enhancing this, you get to see and hear your partner going to the toilet one meter away through the giant crack in the plywood door (seriously it's like something from a rustic camping experience in the Arctic), not something you'd pay 230+Euros for. You pretty quickly realize that the Àmfores Boutique Guest House is all marketing ploy and no content. It's the ”avocado toast of hotels” but made with Wonderbread and mass produced avocado spread.

La posizione è perfetta sia per girare a piedi che per girare in Metro, la stazione della metro è a pochi passi. Non c’è la reception, perciò il check-in lo si fa da sè seguendo le indicazioni che dovrebbero arrivare per E-Mail. Noi no avevamo ricevuto nessuna indicazione per email e abbiamo chiamato il numero di riferimento. Il servizio per telefono è stato in grado di aiutarci e il check-in si è svolto poi senza problemi. La camera è così come si vede nelle foto, arredamento ci è piaciuto molto, la cucina è dotata di microonde, bollitore per l’acqua, mini frigo, macchina per il caffè, posate e pentole. La camera era abbastanza pulita ma il bagno avrebbe avuto bisogno di un po‘ più attenzione. Scarsi prodotti per il bagno, consiglierei di prendersi i propri prodotti per la doccia o di comprare qualcosa localmente. Per il resto ci siamo trovate molto bene e la vista dalla camera non è niente male 😊
