Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and is ideal location for connections locally and train station, plus Bus to the Airport. Hotel gives a free public transport tickets for the duration of the stay which is very handy.

Muy atento el personal, buena ubicación, muy cerca de la estación central. por la noche muy silencioso

就在巴塞爾火車站旁邊，拖行李走五分鐘就到了，附近就是軌交車站，出行很方便。方便雖然小點，但是窗户是真大。

Шикарный отель у вокзала в Базель. Предоставили номер более высокого уровня и выдали Транспортные карты для бесплатного проезда по городу.

Wir waren am Tattoo. Dafür ist die Lage ausgezeichnet. Der Empfang war freundlich und speditiv. Das Zimmer war angenehm gross und mit allem ausgerüstet was man so braucht. Auch die Nasszelle war gross und mit allem ausgerüstet. Die Betten sind sehr gut und bequem. Das Hotel ist ruhig, wir haben gut geschlafen. Wir werden wieder hier übernachten. Für uns negativ war der hohe Preis für das Frühstücksbuffet. Wir haben woanders gegessen.

A única vantagem é a proximidade com a estaca de Basel SBB e os meios de transporte. Cuidado se você chegar no final da noite, o hotel estará fechado, não há recepção.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Metropol. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The employees at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. The location couldn't have been better. Right next to the train station and bus routes. Walking to sights and restaurants was also very easy. I would definately recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is right next to central station and tram station The best part is the staff. They are very helpful The day we were checking out it was raining. Staff helped us reach the railway station. We felt more like a family than hotel staff. Thank you everyone We stayed there some years back (August 2018)

Not a four star hotel. The location is great for onward travel if you’re using the station that’s about it. Rooms are basic and stuffy and if you get a front facing room like we did very noisy. Booked as an overnight before heading onwards to Austria by train thinking a four star hotel would be a great start to our trip, look elsewhere.

My husband and I spent 10 nights here. Fabulous location, close to train station. 20 minute walk to city centre. Tram service superb. MIGROS in train station a great place to get an inexpensive meal. What is best of all about this hotel is the staff. Layla at front desk is fantastic. For one so young, her knowledge and her ability to interact with everyone is excellent. She is terrific. Cedric is also amazing. Hennadii is also very good. In the restaurant next door (Euler) where we had breakfast (there are 3 hotels under one ownership) , we had superb service by Tassimina and Cristina. We so enjoyed them and it was always a great start to the day. Good breakfast. Metropol rooms are not air conditioned, only on Floor 7 and 8. Suggest booking there if weather is warm. Most of Switzerland is not air-conditioned. Beds are comfortable, pillows are VERY good. Windows open wide to ventilate. We felt price of room was very high.
