Hotel is conveniently located less than five minutes’ walk (with luggage) from Basel SBB. We were greeted by a genuinely friendly receptionist, who informed us that we had been upgraded. Well, we arrived at the “room,” which turned out to be a suite with dining/conference area, two bathrooms, a soaking tub, and a panaromic view of the Basel skyline. The dining/living area and bedroom were separate, each with individually controlled A/C. The weather was actually very cool and pleasant for late June, so the A/C was sufficient. That said, if it had been hotter, I’m not sure if the A/C in the bedroom would have quite enough for me, but I’m an extremely picky customer when it comes to air conditioning. In general, Switzerland is a tough place if you need your room at 19 Celcius/69 Farenheit. The living room, though, was able to get very cold. The in-house dining and beverage options were fantastic. There’s a more formal restaurant on the mezzanine above the lobby, where I enjoyed a great meal that worked around my dietary restrictions. Downstairs, there’s a patio restaurant/cafe, and a stylish indoor bar with a midcentury Milanese aesthetic. Honestly, I was surprised it wasn’t busier, but that might have been because we were staying midweek, right after Art Basel. Overall, I very highly recommend. Probably best suited to business travel, but it didn’t feel impersonal, or lacking in personality or style. On the contrary, it was comfortable and contemporary, with a few modernist touches that elevated the look and feel of the property.

I stayed at the Hotel Euler for 5 nights with my Father earlier this month. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal for our daily trips on the train to a nearby village to visit family. Service in the hotel was very good and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Two very minor comments are, firstly, that at breakfast it would have been nice if used plates/bowls had been cleared as we worked our way through the very good breakfast buffet. Secondly, there was only one pillow on the bed when we arrived and we had to ask for more. I think perhaps there could be two pillows as standard. We used the bar/lounge most evenings during our stay and it was a very nice, relaxed atmosphere especially with the pianist playing most evenings. No complaints at all and would certainly return if the opportunity arises. many thanks for making the Hotel a very pleasant place to stay.

We stayed here for just one night as part of a group, but it would be my number one choice should I ever return to Basel. It is across the road from the main station, and the trams are also just across the road, if you wish to travel around the city (free using the hotel guest card). The room was comfortable, and quiet, even though it overlooked the main road. Breakfast! What to say? The most lovely array of so many different foods in a bright, clean dining area. There was a large selection of beautifully prepared fresh fruit, lots of different breads, and so many savouries -cheeses, cold meats, smoked salmon, avocado, eggs, as well as some hot food. One young waiter said it was his first day, but he was well trained and spoke excellent English. Thank you.

酒店位置不錯，在歐洲火車站SBB旁邊，出行打車及公共交通很方便。最大的問題就是沒有空調，現在才是6月初，室外中午最高28度，室內沒有空調，陽光又是直射（歐洲緯度高，夏天陽光斜度不大），室內溫度高達34-36度！根本無法睡覺，問前台，說晚上氣溫比較低，會涼下來，房間不透風，根本涼不下來！衹提供了一個小小電風扇，一夜無眠！訂歐洲酒店一點要問清楚是否有空調，歐洲80%酒店沒有空調，夏天無法忍受！這個還是歐洲四星酒店！

The whole journey was amazing. Switzerland is the cleanest country I’ve been to and this hotel fulfills my expectations. There weren’t toothpaste in the room so I left a note asking for it and the staff left a post it note with dental amenities in our bathroom after we left. Cutest thing I’ve experienced, would highly recommend this room too!

This hotel is within walking distance from the SBB train station, staff at the hotel are very friendly and speak very good English. I was very grateful for the early check in without any quibble with the receptionist, and she explained how we can get around. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold foods, with variations every day. I would definitely stay here again. The only discomfort with our room was the temperature in our room was set to 19C, which was comfortable during the day, but was a bit too hot for the night for us, and we couldn’t lower the temperature down.

The originally designated room was still not ready at 5 pm. So I got another room. Nice yet small room with a nice view. Only negative point was the
hotel is located right next to a tram station and the Basel fair close to Basel Badischer Bahnhof. It s a high rise building with hotelrooms up to floor 14. There is an independant bar on the 30st floor in the same building with spectacular views. Hotel guests get a free Basel card with allows to use public transport for free and lots of half price things to do like museums, zoo etc.

Good location if you are traveling on public transport. We came from Colmar by train and the hotel is only a short taxi ride from the station. It is not an area for cafes, restaurants etc. as there is nothing around. There is a tram just up from the hotel and you can take this into the heart if the city. We didn’t as it was only an overnight stay and we were too tired. We contented ourselves with a snack from a machine in the lobby. The room was small but for one or two nights not a problem. Bed was comfortable, water hot and WiFi good. We left too early for breakfast so can’t comment on the food. The young lady on reception was very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend for short stays. Great value for the price we paid, AU$97.

Рядом шикарные ворота Spalentor, за ними практически начинается шопинговое пространство и центр. До остановки 50 автобуса в аэропорт пройти минут 5. Персонал в отеле очень приветливый, на ресепшн пряники, водичка, конфетки, открытки, буклеты, карты. Заселили раньше положенного, поздний выезд без доплат до 12, далее 50 Франков. Дали basel card: бесплатный транспорт, в т.ч. до аэропорта, и 50% скидка на музеи. Там также код для входа в отель после 22 (или 23, уже точно не вспомню), когда на ресепшене нет никого. Завтрак отличный, сыров видов 7, нарезка, овощи, горячее, соки, воды, джемы, фрукты, можно заказать яичницу, омлет, кофе и пр., на 5 этаже с красивыми видами, небольшое помещение. Номер уютный, тапки, халаты, минибар, много разных люстр и светильников. Тихо. Тв туча программ, наших нету. Одеяла отличные, подушки так себе. Итог: рекомендую.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is great, close to the Old Town and only minutes on foot from Barfuesserplatz. Parking at Steinen is also within relatively reasonable distance. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The rooms are modern, and what we especially appreciated were the separated shower and toilet, although we did miss additional opportunities to hang bath towels. Our room was to the front of the building and therefore somewhat noisy due to the proximity of the tram line, but I guess that's the caveat of such a central location. For breakfast there are two options: The full buffet breakfast at the Teufelhof across the street, or the coffee shop on the ground floor of the SET Hotel itself. We opted for the latter and loved their croissants. The corridors felt a bit bland, dark and ”hospital-like”, as my wife put it. A bit of colour would give it a somewhat friendlier touch. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and think it's an ideal place to stay for exploring the city.

PPengguna TetamuReally great hostel for seeing the sights of Basel. Location was close to the Basel SBB train station and trams going into the main part of Basel. You can also easily walk. I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm, which had comfy beds. Each bed has it's own locker assigned with key provided by the hostel. There is a good kitchen with a fridge for guests to use, as well as table space to sit and eat. Showers are spacious and not on a timer. The Basel card they give you at check in is great for discounts on museum tickets and free public transport. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and checking in was straightforward. I would recommend as a place to stay to explore beautiful Basel.

Out of 4rooms, all 3 rooms with issue like smelly room (like dead body inside the room), only one lightbulb is working, door knob got issue, stuffy room.. too many issue that we don’t know where shud we start to complaint. Old hotel and need a lot improvement. Check in staff is friendly. Breakfast consider average. No photo because nothing to shot out with.

Please note, I am a simple person with simple needs. I have divided this review into 3 parts, the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good - It is close to the convention center, around 100 meters away is a big Coop grocery store, tram stop around the corner, and an easy walk to old town Basel. Room also had a mini fridge, and they have an elevator. The Bad - This is picayune, but the elevator is tiny. The Ugly - Again, this was a rare event, not likely to normally occur, but they had turned off the radiators in the room, which made the room a tad chilly (weird weather), but the hotel set me up with a portable one.

PPengguna TetamuThere is no check-in desk or machine at the hotel. When we arrived, we saw a sign saying to go back to some other hotel to check-in. We had to walk back to a different hotel to check-in. Totally nonsense. At least, they should have warned us beforehand. I have sent two emails before our arrival as well and nobody ever answered. Terrible assistance. The hotel seemed to be very badly taken care of. Like abandoned. The bathroom was dirty and with a very bad smell. Extremely expensive for what is offered. Very very disappointed, especially being in Switzerland. Not in the Swiss standards at all. I have chosen easyhotel because I have stayed before in other cities and it was great. But now, never again.
