Complimentary shuttle is provided from Nongsa Ferry Terminal to the resort. Resort is quite far from the city. The room and the facilities were quite old and dated. One other downside is that there is no gym at the resort. Service was excellent, the reception sent the maintenance team within 10 minutes to attend to a de-railed sliding door at the balcony, a coffee table believed to be infested by termites, defunct shower head. Breakfast spread was ok. The beach was picturesque, also had the opportunity to explore the seabed during low tide. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and will definitely return.

view was great, it’s the kind of view that you wish to wake up to every morning. private pool and the place was overall quite clean as well. buffet breakfast has a wide spread of cuisine and food (mostly local food though). the only downside is the location and the security. since the place is very far off from the city, if you were to go back late at night, the road to montigo is super dark, no street lights at all so i would recommend going back early. finding a grab to the city was always relatively hard, took quite some time. the main door of the villa is see through and not really secure so just lock your bedrooms at night :)

Batam View Beach Resort was recently refurbished, so hallways and rooms have an updated look with dark wood hues giving it a bit of modernness. The building has also been given a fresh cost of white paint, giving it a fresh feeling. The gaudy light signboard no longer adorns the main entrance. Despite the updates, the property occasionally exudes tiredness: the signage at the entrance is really dated and when we first saw it, we had some apprehension on how the experience would be (think wildness school camping). But our fears were unfounded as the entered the property: it was clean and modern enough for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink. It was a refreshing welcoming from the warm weather outside. The chairs in the restaurant were tired and the chairs were sunken a little uncomfortable to sit. It would have been if they could be updated for a more comfortable experience. Now on to the food, we had lunch, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Lunch was pretty standard but nothing to shout about. There was rice, soup, noodle and other sides, fruits and desserts that while palatable, again were nothing to rave about. During lunch, the only weird encounter I had was with the chocolate jelly; chocolate does not do well in a jelly. Breakfast was buffet style. The staff at the entrance will ask for your room number before being let in for breakfast. It was a fuss free experience. The buffet breakfast had typical fare such as rice, noodles, porridge, bread, cereal and an egg station with the usual fare you see at breakfast. There’s a kelong within the property which serves up pretty decent seafood if you want something nearby and do not want to travel out. For dinner, as it was a team event, they set the area near the pool to be an open space buffet for dinner with a stage for the activities. While the experience was good and fun (food again was average), I cannot imagine the noise pollution for the other guests staying on the property. The party went on to the night at about 10pm, and I spotted a couple of guests coming out of their rooms to see what was happening. So, if you are staying here for leisure, something to take note of. They have a little pet / animal corner which I wanted to check out but had not time to do so We had a room on the second floor. The hallway was brightly lit and due to the recent refurbishment, it was a pleasant environment. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a clean room with 2 beds. There was ample of space to hang clothes and a luggage space for 2 medium luggage. The closet was open, basically just a pole above the luggage space with about 6 hangers provided. Housekeeping was good, but not excellent as there a strand of long hair in one of the pillow cases, and there was a little bit of dust on the shelves. Location is a plus point. Near Batam Center ferry terminal n a shopping mall. Staff super friendly, when we reached the hotel, was raining heavily. But our coach can’t enter the carpark. So the hotel staff came out to the road side n shelter us with umbrella n help us with the luggage.

The Doors Should be Sounds Proofs. Residential Units Should Be Using Different Lift. Security Reasons. Improve of Breakfast Varieties. Improve Of the Breakfast Tables Surrounding Hygiene As Many HouseFlies 🪰 While Eating. Very Dirty. Staff's Should Be Directly Cleared Away The Plates & Cutleries After Guests Finish Eating. Not Just Hack Cares from it. As The Hotel Guests Needs To Ownself Clear it for The Staff's. As was told Breakfast ends 10:30am daily but past 2 Days when I reached the food court at 9am. Mostly All food items left only the Base Lines. The Porridge conditions was entirely can't consume it cos it's Was so Starchy... The Cutleries never replenish. Only The Door Man on duty at all times to provides great service of having smiling 😃 😊 face for welcoming.

I went there with low expectations because of the reviews on tripadvisor. But I think the hotel is pretty good overall. Yes, the hotel is a little old, and the linens may have a tiny stain, but i was pleasantly surprised that their twin bed is actually a queen size bed and a single bed. Their rooms are also furnished with mostly wooden furnitures. One more thing i really like is the aircon, its very strong and very cold. We wrapped ourselves in the blanket like a burrito. Maybe one small thing to note is that although there are “no smoking” signs in the lifts, there are still travellers that openly smoke in there. But other than that, i think the hotel is okay overall. It is also pretty secure, because you need to scan the room card before selecting the level you want to go to. Theres also Macdonalds nearby, just need to cross the road.

Travelling with 2 children my wife didn’t know what to expect driving up Nongsa resort, but what an oasis. The marina is a sight to behold, literally on your door step, the pool is a lagoon type that stretches over 25 metres and the views across the ocean was breathless. The staff were amazing especially those working in the restaurant. Our accommodation was a chalet, 2 bedroom across 2 levels. It was very clean, if a little worn, but it contained all amenities to allow you to be self sufficient. We would recommend getting some items to stock the pantry if you need to as the nearest mart is a few clicks away. Though there was a mini mart on site. The buffet breakfast was amazing with a strong selection of local favourites. We cannot recommend Nongsa Marina Resort highly enough. Value for money and definitely coming back.

I had a wonderful experience at the Panbil Residence Apartment Batam. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. So this was a big plus. The room was comfortable and clean. They have free shuttle bus to 3 major malls. Breakfast buffet is pretty good. Thank you! Would definitely send a friend there!

Very nice room and value for money for the price. Less than 10 minutes drive to Hang Nadim Airport. Highly recommended for people that are transiting for one night at Batam.

Love the hotel. It’s clean and comfortable. Great place to spend your staycation. Salute to all the hotel staff. They are friendly and polite. We enjoyed our stay there specially the pool. The buffet breakfast is also good, hopefully can add pancakes or waffle in the menu. ☺️ The location is strategically in the midst of malls and shops. A lot of food choices to try around, strongly recommendended to try the A2 food court for a night food trip. Since it’s nearby to Grand Batam mall, late movie night is also a perfect option to end your day. Massage and nail spas are all around too if you want to distress and relax. We will definitely book this hotel again whenever we visit Batam. 🫶
