The room we were in (roll in shower for handicap) was nice and roomy. The bed was comfy, the shower was very good. I love the free cookie and water bottles for guests. The desk clerks were ”okay”. It's a good stay. The room that I need for my stay is unfortunately across from the elevators, so there was plenty of chatter outside our door as people waited for the elevator to reach our floor.

We reserved a non-smoking King room. When we got to the room, the smell of smoke was strong even with our masks still on. I requested a different room and was moved promptly. The next room was clean and acceptable, except that the refrigerator didn't work. I called and went to the front desk about the problem but no one was there. All the doors are unlocked and the card reader was hanging from the wall on the door we used. To their credit they serve an excellent breakfast to take back to your room. We will probably choose another hotel on the return trip.

Stayed here for 2 nights for the Ole Miss game. Check in was great, wonderful staff. The room smelled horribly like smoke though so I asked the front desk woman if there was another less smelly room. She stated the hotel is non smoking so that was the air conditioner heating unit burning off the dust. She sprayed some air freshener, but that was not burning dust, and the room never did not smell like smoke/pot. The TV was on when I check in which was unusual but I learned after turning it off that was because it would switch out of dish and then there would be no signal when turned back on. The woman at the desk in the morning did not know how to fix so I had to wait for someone to arrive to work before fixing it. Luckily I asked her how to fix it back to cable because it happened multiple times (any time the tv was turned off) and speaking with other guests it happened to them also and they were stuck. BREAKFAST bags were ok the first day and non existent on Sun. as everything had been cleared out. My tip, if you stay here get enough for 2 mornings and put in your fridge!!!

Not a fan. It started with check-in. The woman who was at the front desk when I checked in was super super rude. No welcome, no explanation on wifi, no thanks for staying with us (we are diamond members). Went up to my room, room is actually nice and spacious, it saved me from giving the hotel a 1 star. Went back downstairs later to ask about the wifi situation and the same woman was rude to me again, super short and not friendly by any sort of the imagination, First night I slept fine. The hotel is close to a busy freeway, so I had to turn the fan on all night long to drowned out the road noise. Second day was fine. Went to bed and was in a deep sleep until the fire alarm went off. Cleared the room, got back in bed once we were told it was ok only to have the fire alarm go off again, mind you this is 11:15 pm. Front desk told us it was fine to go upstairs, which I thought was weird. Where we are from firefighters show up and THEY tell us to go back upstairs. Couldn’t get back to sleep, which made working the next day very difficult. After work I went down to the pool and was greeted with green pool water. What in the world is going on with this place?! Sure, it’s cheap, but between the lack of hospitality, the fire alarm situation and the nasty pool, this is not one place I will be staying again. From now on it’s Oxford for me!
