We were greeted by Robert whom graciously escorted us to our room and acquainted us with our beautifully appointed room. Comfort, style and tradition beautifully mesh in the lovely federal room that has a clean, large bathroom. Social hour with drinks and excellent hot tidbits was a nice way to meet and mingle with others. Evening nightcap a nice touch.Breakfast in the sunroom was a delight. Parking in the rear of building a plus.

We really loved staying at the Cuthbert house! We would rate it a 10! The best part of the stay was the staff, Matt, Karen, Suzanne and I think the chef was Elizabeth, all did an outstanding service to all the residents! I will definitely recommend people to stay with you all! The history of the house was a nice part of the stay as well. The decorative touches throughout the house were spot on! Great job!

My wife and I have always loved the Cuthbert House Inn but we have been away for five year out of the country. Coming back to the inn was a delightful surprise. Totally renovated and new staff it was a marvelous vacation. Karen, Matt, Robert and Lori went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Beaufort is our go to get away city. We will now get away more often.

I highly recommend Cuthbert House. It has been beautifully restored, perfectly located, great views and the most incredible staff. They go above and beyond and it feels like you are at a friend’s house. We are already planning another girls trip back!

Ab Fab all the way!! Super-charming B&B in a classic Antebellum home that’s walking distance to pretty much everything downtown. Breakfast is excellent, as is 5p guest gathering w nice wine and apps. Will def visit again. Pet friendly and nice courtyard w fire pit.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at! The house and garden is beautiful, the staff is extremly friendly, helpfull and kind, our room was amazing, spacious and clean! The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with many choices served in a lovely room with a seaview. Complimentary all day long were snacks, water and soft drinks. A nice surprise was that every day at 5 pm they serve wine and some food (also complimentary!) and all the guest had a nice gathering at the porch together with the nice owners of the hotel! Beaufort is a small town with lots of shops, restaurants and located beautiful by the sea. We really hope to come back some day!

My husband and I really enjoyed the Cuthbert House. Robert and Karen and the entire staff were wonderful! It’s a beautiful place to stay. We have stayed there twice now and will definitely come again. We really appreciate the pet friendly rooms!

Absolutely the most beautiful, wonderful Bed and Breakfast we’ve ever stayed at. Innkeepers and Staff are amazing. The Inn is fabulous, views of the water, close to downtown Beaufort. Breakfast is delicious, wine and appetizers in the afternoon is relaxing and enjoyable as you get to meet and chat with the other guests. We totally enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at the Cuthbert House. This was a bittersweet trip for me and my elderly mom, who is now officially done traveling forever. So we wanted this to be special ,and we could not have felt more pampered. From Lori the GM to Karen at the front desk /kitchen to the cleaning staff, everyone was so so nice and so so good at their jobs. We stayed in the Federal room -- and it is awesome with its views and amazing king four-poster bed and lush carpet. The place has been renovated and everything is high-end, including the Kohler faucets, the mattress, and even the way they refinished the floor planks. Perfection. We had chocolates delivered to us in an evening bed turn-down service, and there was a daily happy hour with appetizers and wine. It is a short walk to downtown, where everything we ate was foodie-level good. A delightful breakfast is served that included a full french press of decaf coffee for my mom, who declared it the best she had ever tasted. We needed some additional accommodations and the attention to my mom made me tear up at times. Seriously. Book this place. You will not be sorry. I will be remembering this special time with my mom for the rest of my life.
