The hotel was a last minute booking due to missing my high speed train to Shenyang and to stay near the train station for the following day. The hotel is only 2,8 km from the train station and it takes about 3 mins to get there by taxi. However, the hotel staff did not speak any English as everyone was mainly Chinese tourist. The people at reception absolutely refused to order a taxi for me via Didi for the next morning and only after long discussions and with a help of a Chinese business people speaking Chinese, the young lady agreed to do it via her own App so I could pay her for the taxi. The next morning she was not at the reception and although we had agreed she would call me a yellow taxi, her colleague called me a private car ( more expensive) and I was told it would take 20 mins to get to the station. Only when I got quite upset about it and told the guy at reception that it takes only 5 mins to the station from the hotel and insisted on him to tell the driver to take me to the train station as quickly as possible and I did not want to miss my train again, was I taken to the train station in less than 5 mins. I would therefore not recommend this hotel to anyone not familiar with the language or the customs to book as it might not be the best experience to have in Beijing. Also always remember to plan at least 1hour extra time to get to your destination as the cars / taxis in Beijing have to take longer routes to get to places for some reason which is not the shortest way to get to your destination or drop you off at the wrong places/ exits of stations and it will take you a long way to find your way to your destination. Make sure you plan your journey to the airport or train stations well with ample time to get there.

There is no record of our booking. Take a long time to explain to the staff on our booking. The place is far away from Subway/MRT. Difficult to get around.

We just came from a different hotel and the difference was not that big. the hotel is a little far from the main road and the road leading there is under construction so a little traffic. When you enter the hotel it's a little dark but the staff were accommodating.

Quite old but overall satisfying. Abundant breakfast, pool and gym need extra, overall clean staff is sometimes hesitant but very very kind with a super helpful attitude. Great value for money.

The place is generally beautiful and has an expensive feeling, the architecture is wonderful especially the lobby, most of the amenities found in the room requires you to purchase separately, i was exited for the pool but its more of a kids teaching pool now i guess. They’re service is nice and are welcoming to foreigners too
