We got confused after we checked in and noticed that there wasn't a door into the bathroom. Called the housekeeping, and they informed that the door was removed because it was spoilt. I think its rather irresponsible to not inform beforehand. The room was changed after complaining. The new room, not sure if it's because it's winter, it's like a sauna in the room! Even the corridor is cooler than the room! There is nothing we can do to adjust the temperature and with the direct sunlight shining in, it just makes it worse. During checking in, I enquired about some day tours but the front office staff couldn't give much information. Generally, the staff are not very enthusiastic and friendly. The plus point is the location. It is about 5 mins walk from Xidan metro station. Lots of food and shopping around the hotel.

Pretty nice location, nice rooms even though slightly older. Very spacious and service was great. But the aircon had some issues, can’t adjust and get super hot at 2am.

Lobby seems quite outdated. Service is exceptional and the room is very comfortable and clean. Thanks to all the staff who helped us to book cabs in Beijing. We expected a nicer bar on the 18th floor.

We stayed in the executive room. It was great experience from the start. The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the doorman who helped us with our luggage. The staff were also extremely helpful with our enquiries despite the language barrier. When we asked one of them for directions to a mall, there was some difficulties communicating and 3-4 others came to assist us in our enquiry. The hotel room was really well furnished and clean. Highly recommended. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed.

The hotel is located at a convenient location near a few shopping malls and the subway. It is very convenient. The rooms are clean and big with alot of space. However the room furniture, showers and other amenities are a bit dated. For example, we have problem closing the sliding shower door as there is a lot of friction and there is a bit gap even after closing the door. From the room itself, you can see the bathroom. If you are staying with your spouse, it should be ok. But if you are with friends, it can be awkward. At the main lobby reception, there are no seats or sofa during checkin. I find it very incovenient as after a long flight and travelling from the airport to the hotel, our family member have to stand at the lobby and wait for the room keys.

Just next to Joy City mall. We stayed for 4 nights, and we all have a very comfortable sleep and time.

Fantastic location with 3 large malls within walking distance. Service was decent with minor blemishes when request for items like extra pillows & bathing soap ran out in the evening

The location and service were very good. Just next door there a shopping mall. In fact,there’s more than 4 shopping mall around that area.

I had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Beijing. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern elegance with traditional touches. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff (great thanks to Tiffany, Cindy, Wendy, Judy, Lynn, Etta) were exceptional—always friendly and ready to help, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Pan Pacific Beijing for a luxurious stay in the city.

This is the 3rd time I spend a couple of days at this wonderful hotel. Everything is so clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. And the best thing is the location, with a great shopping area around. My number 1 place to stay in Beijing.

Great hotel near Xidan with good shopping and restaurant options. Great amenities inside with coffee maker and swimming pool was good!
