Hotel berhampiran New World Department Store (Chongwen Store), Beijing

Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Hope the next time we stay here sky guo would have fixed this feedback! Alongside with ensuring that luke warm pre made coffee will not be served. Absolutely charming sales director

Located within walking distance to Wangfujing centre, very convenience to hunt for foods. Compliment washer & dryer available at B2. Please avoid peak usage in the evening. Many private driver outside the hotel offering private tour to Great Wall at very reasonable price. Will certainly back to this hotel when I visit Beijing next time.

Staff at Sofitel Beijing are welcoming and service level you can expect are on par with other 5 star international hotel brands around the world (although this is definitely not the case everywhere in China). There are numerous hotels in Beijing to chose from, but I have decided to come back to the Sofitel everytime, simply because I know I will get the same level of service and etiquette. A special shout out to Clarey and Leah for their professionalism and customer service which made my stay that much more enjoyable. The deluxe rooms are very very generally sized and the suites on the top floors have some of the largest floor space in my experience. One downside of a nice, fancy, modern decor is that it uses many different materials and does not hide general wear and tear well, leaving scratches and scrapes that looks worse than it is. Comfort level of the hotel is definitely the main draw card. Makes it difficult to want to leave the hotel. But the subway is a 5 min walk if you want to get around during peak hour to avoid traffic congestion, otherwise getting around with DiDi or taxis are fairly cheap where ever you go with the hotel’s location.

A truly excellent 5-star hotel (if not better) in a great location with wonderful staff in and around the premise! Of special mention is the Front Office Manager, Mr Su Yan, who quickly and tirelessly helped salvage an issue with a friend who was initially part of the booking for the Twin-room. As this friend had submitted his passport to an embassy for a visa, he couldn't check in with me. As a result, a request was made for a double bed for single occupancy which was promptly met without incurring further charges. All staff, from the front office to housekeeping, maintained their courteous smiles and greetings throughout my 4 nights/5 days stay. This included even those at the restaurant for breakfast, who were quick to usher their guests to their tables, and to promptly serve the desired beverage. Breakfast was sumptuous with a good variety of choices from Western to Chinese, and even Japanese. My room was always cleaned as soon as I left for breakfast and this made it pleasant to return to the room, to plan the outings for the day. The subway, which was within walking distance helped with getting around Beijing without the hassle of being caught up in the horrific traffic which seems to be a common feature of this city. This was truly a spendid trip staying at this gem of a hotel that I had even contemplated extending my stay for another 2 nights. However, duty beckoned me to check out to return to work. I look forward to returning to this hotel once more should the opportunity present itself and I'm hoping that it'll be sooner too!

My recent stay at the Beijing Tiananmenwangfujing Manxin Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a sense of tranquility and elegance that set the tone for my entire trip. Location, Location, Location: The hotel's location is unbeatable. Situated just steps away from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the bustling Wangfujing shopping street, it's the perfect base for exploring the city's iconic landmarks and vibrant culture. The convenient access to the metro station also made it easy to venture further afield. Comfort and Convenience: My room was a haven of comfort and style. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and modern amenities provided everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the well-stocked tea and coffee station. Exceptional Service: What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I must specifically commend their honesty and efficiency. The lady working in the lobby was kind and helpful. She brought our things up and placed them into our room when we left our bags in the lobby as we arrived a lot earlier than the check-in time. She was also very helpful to the questions we had. Furthermore, the hotel is clean and tidy. They also sent up room slippers and extra things using a robot. The location is also great as it is tucked at the corner of a walking street and you can see locals playing badminton, basketball and dancing nearby around dinner time. I highly recommend this place!

Kami memilih sebuah hotel di tengah-tengah, sedekat mungkin dengan Dataran Tiananmen dan Kota Larangan. Kami bercadang untuk tinggal di Beijing selama 3 malam 4 hari. Lokasi. Dataran itu terletak 1 stesen metro dari laluan burgundy (laluan 1) dan dengan 1 pertukaran jika anda turun di laluan biru (laluan 4). Hotel ini boleh dikatakan dari pintu ke pintu dengan pusat membeli-belah Joy City dan 2-3 pusat membeli-belah besar yang lain. Secara amnya, anda boleh membeli-belah sepuas hati anda dengan banyak wang, walaupun terdapat barangan berkualiti dan jenama pada tahap yang berbeza. Very convenient location, the hotel is located at a popular district Xidan, near the famous Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing street. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Xidan station exit F1. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of cuisines ranging from Western delicacies to Chinese comfort food. The breakfast buffet opens from 7 - 10 AM. The dinner buffet is a wonderful unforgettable luxury experience, serving hotpot, fresh Seafood and meat, and an ice cream station. The dinner buffet opens from 5:30 - 9:30 PM. The room is very clean and looked new, the staffs are friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely come back again.

Hotel is small but very comfortable. It is located close to very popular places and shopping malls. Almost in the heart of Sanlitum. The desk doesn’t speak English but we can use translators, it is not a big deal. Room was clean and everyday was being cleaned up. Water and soft drinks are for free inside the room. Around hotel many bars, restaurants and nice places to visit. Underground is not close but also not so far.
