Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Great stay. Fairly central to town and beach. Facilities where good although pool was closed and room looked out onto a noisy building site to the rear. Close to local pupluc transport and plenty of parking.

The hotel was great .. i was all inclusive .. in a double room .. the food was really nice .. good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner .. could be a bit more fruit .. entertainment wasnt as good as last time but it is understandable as not so many guests The staff were brilliant , very helpful and friendly , the entertainment team were excellent ! The room was very spacious , clean and warm , kettle supplied with selection of tea and coffee , uk tv and nice balcony . The price was good for 2 people but i was on my own and did not get a discount .. it would have been brilliant if there was a single person discount

I would rate this hotel 3* It really needs updating in a few areas. The floor in the restaurant needs replacing as it’s worn in places. The seating in the lounge areas aren’t that comfortable. The food is barely warm, bland and not a lot of choice, over the week, a bit repetitive. Staff are a bit grumpy, especially the lady serving in the restaurant bar. I saw her being quite rude to an older lady who was just asking a question. Non of the staff seem to smile or make polite conversation. The rooms are spacious, but our bath was rusty, see photos. They were cleaned, but cups not washed and coffee, tea etc not replenished on a few occasions. The pool was great, clean, good size. Evening entertainment good. Would I go her again, sadly no. I wouldn’t recommend either.

Loved hotel all ways smelt nice ,room was lovely we just left there on Sunday ,shows at night was good down stairs , Food was not bad meats were tough or fatty .brilliant selection salads and cheese etc was brilliant ,staff in dining room could be friendlier entertainment crew brilliant Staff at bar wasn’t friendly at times as I have trouble getting speech out they were not patient over all brilliant hotel clean want to get back ,good walk down to see front .but good taxi’s out side Reception desk staff so friendly and helpful

Location- if you are able bodied not an issues , is a 15 minutes walk to the main ***** and beach front. Taxi approx €5, if your less mobile I'd recommend a scooter Hotel- clean modern rooms, rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Super comfy beds, Lifts very busy but did not really have to much of an issue. However due to tall surrounding building sun is scares which makes it very breezy and cold. Food - very repetitive,choice good if your not to picky an eater. Could do with more kids options. Maybe a few theme nights to break up the menus Snack bar at pool side- cheese and ham toasties and.crisps avaible. Did ask for on cheese but was told no. Would be goos to have more of an option Drinks also available Drinks- all inclusive open till 11, understandable for adults but kids should still be able to access juice. However it's €2.20 for a soft drink Staff - small majority rude, very unhelpful which was a shame they let down the minority except alvro who couldn't do enough when my in law who was electrocuted by the hair dryer in the room. Lots for kids to do, clubs, discos, kids entertainers I personally wouldn't use this hotel again mainly due to location

We had an eleven night stay at the flamingo oasis and didn't think it was as good as the last time we stayed . We chose a club room this time and we were expecting better. The room was fine with better beds than we had before but still creaked when you move , pillows were fine . Plenty of storage space . The bathroom was a let down with a rusty shower fitment and cracked sink . There were hardly any TV channels that worked. We were in room 2304 and on the 24th floor there is a club room were you can sit and get drinks and so called snacks . The snacks were poor and the room was always empty with no atmosphere to it . The club rooftop pool and terrace was nice but nowhere near enough shade unless you manage to get a cabana which we saw Brits taking both beds and adjacent cabanas so they could flit between the two !!! And yet again Brits leaving towels on sunbeds from early morn and not coming back till late afternoon !! We paid a lot more money for going club all inclusive and then they wanted another 3 euros a drink for certain drinks , sounds like profiteering to me !!! The food wasn't as good quality as last time and warm at best . I waited for a tray of chilli con carne to be replaced and when it came out it was only warm . The entertainment we saw on the nights we stayed in was poor in my opinion. The staff work really hard and apart from restaurant staff seem happy and smiling. The TUI rep ( Anne Marie ) was excellent . She went out of her way to help me with a medical problem . Don't think we will return to this hotel
