I had booked this for me and my 11 yo daughter. The first room we got was full of small drain flies, both flying around and lying dead on the floor. We called the contact number (there was no one onsite to help) and were given the room next door instead. We changed rooms and went to bed. I was woken up by the sound of the door code being used for our door and the door opening. This is a motel, so there is no hallway, outside the door is really outside. And outside stood two men claiming to have booked the room. I won't go in to a description of them, but suffice to say that I did not feel safe at all, lying in bed in my underwear with my child beside me with these strangers having full access to our room. I had to get out of bed to close the door in their faces as they refused to go. I called the contact number, and they apologised, but there was no way we were going to go back to sleep again. We left straight away. The day after I expected to be met with a minimum of customer service and to get at least a partial refund, but instead I was basically called a liar, with the hotel saying that I must have not closed the door properly (which was to the outside, so of course I had) since other people could gain access. It is one thing to go through such a horrible experience, it is quite another to be met with that attitude afterwards. They got to keep their money which was all that mattered to them! I would not stay here again even if I was paid to do so. Horrible experience.
