Hotel berhampiran Buckower Heimatverein e.V., Berlin

We were left a little confused about this hotel. My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights visiting family close by hence the reason we had to stay in this area. We had mixed feelings about the hotel but I would stay again. It appears this hotel belongs to a chain of hotels. I suspect that the write up of this hotel on booking sites is generic to cover all of their hotels. The internet shows it has a restaurant and considering the guests can come from anywhere, the word restaurant means different things to different people. In this case it meant the breakfast room and not somewhere you could have lunch and dinner. However the Italian restaurant next door Il Nouvo is amazing. I had emailed on two occasions previously to ask whether or not they supply any type of transfer from the airport as it is quite expensive. I never received a response. That was disappointing. I don't necessarily know if the request goes to his hotel or to the head office but it is poor poor service. We booked directly through the hotel, and it was reasonably priced for the area and included breakfast. On arrival we were treated great and service was great. There is a nice seating area in the foyer and at reception there is water with lemons for guests as well as a fruit bowl full of fruit. I note that staffing changed regularly at the desk within the time we were there so service wasn't always consistent. I'm not sure if there is an employment issue as we were told that some staff weren't familiar with the hotel as they were from another site. At one point I went to get a water, this may be trivial for some, but it hadn't been filled for a day. There were just lemons sitting on the bottom. I did ask reception if I could get some water. She filled it but it was the same lemons that had been there for 3 days. I note the next day it was refreshed. The bar which has drinks available was another mixed feeling. The reception staff operated the bar, it was situated behind them. I don't think it's their fault but they didn't know some of the drinks that were on the menu nor did they know how to make some of the drinks. One find young man was going to make an Aperol Spritz, with orange juice, as this is what the recipe said. We stopped him from doing that. There was a great little sparking drink they ran out of which was never replenished. Some of the drinks on their list, they didn't have. When a wanted a small sparkling wine, first time I was charged for the bottle and provided with the glass and the small bottle. Second time round served by a different staff member he poured me a drink and charged me the bottle price but kept half of it. Again, I don't think it's their fault, it's some sort of lack of training. This doesn't take away from their kindness and their effort. 自助性酒店，初次體驗的客人大概都要花費點時間和精力去了解，才能成功入住。 酒店沒有前台，需要行李寄存的很不方便。

I stayed for a night before an early morning flight. The hotel room was comfortable, clean and comparably big for just one person. I had a room on the 4th floor, far away from the elevator, which meant it was also quiet. Windows could be opened, but air-conditioning also worked well. There was a complementary bottle of water and a sweet, which added a nice touch. I had dinner in the restaurant, which was served as all you can eat buffet (€26). Food was good quality, presentation was appealing and there was a good selection available. I had taken a taxi from the airport (€25), taxi driver did not complain about the journey like other reviews mentioned. I took the shuttle back to the airport, which was easy to book and also easy to find in the morning. It is signposted and stops in front of the hotel. I had changed my pick-up time the night before via email and got a response very quickly, which was reassuring. Overall, a very good holiday Inn experience.

Modern and warm hotel with all amenities of an airport hotel. The SBahn is literally in front of the hote (S9), one stop away of BER. The shuttle from the hotel is 10€ each way. I enjoyed my stay in loginn hotel although it is really remote, like the airport is remote. checkin was super easy. rooms are modern, clean. breakfast pretty much standard. The big difference to me was Sami at the restaurant/bar who made me feel very welcome. When I arrived late the first night and asked for food the kitchen was officially closed but he got out of his way to bake a pizza although the lobby and bar was pretty full. He also makes an effort to talk to guests and speaks a few languages. Thank you Sami for giving this place some extra warmth and character!

Very well located, close to the airport, clean, cosy, everything in the room is very efficient. The breakfast was generous, healthy and well organised. The service in the hotel was nice and warm. Gods value for your money I strongly recommend

The hotel is a convention hotel and the convention centers are huge and great for events. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, but the hours are incorrect and the employees at the desk do not know the hours of the restaurants…so good luck! We stayed in wing 2 and there are 3 elevators, q of which is not on. Unfortunately the elevators may take 15 minutes to pick you up. If they aren’t overly full. The rooms are what would be 3-stars in the US. They are very small, but mostly clean. The amenities are average at best, but not good compared to comparable hotels in Europe. Honestly, I’d not choose to stay here again. The people are friendly, but the hotel is lacking in quality and customer service.

Nice room, great breakfast, but not quite in the heart of things. It’s in Neukolln, which is down in the south eastern part of Berlin. That’s about 25-30 minutes from most places & sites. Great middle eastern restaurants nearby…just doesn’t seem very German. Breakfast was extra, coffee was extra, etc..
