"My Berlin nightmare happened right here. I urge anyone booking this hotel to be extremely careful with their luggage. While on a business trip to Germany, my backpack, containing my passport, laptop, some cash, and a charger, was stolen from the hotel lobby around 2:40 PM on the day of my return flight. Yes, just a few hours before boarding, right in the hotel lobby! The lobby is completely open-plan, with many people coming and going, so there are professional thieves targeting your belongings! There are many pickpockets in this area, and the environment is quite chaotic (though some might find it lively). If you don't want to end up like me, having to delay your return by 1-2 days, please be very careful of the people around you, or book a hotel in a safer environment. I hope the hotel can address the security issues in the lobby, otherwise, these kinds of problems will definitely continue to occur!"

"The beds were comfortable but not wide enough. The pillows were uncomfortable. The room had a bad smell when entering. The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of everything. I also enjoyed the free bottles of water and the bonbons. Unfortunately there was no fridge in the room. There was only a kettle for coffee. The location of the hotel was nice, near hofbrau haus. The underground garage was convenient. The price was a little bit high. I recommend the hotel."

"Berlin Sleep Club is located in a nice area with cute restaurants that isn’t too loud at night. My bed was comfortable enough and cozy with the curtains (I had a lower bunk) although the pillow was extremely lumpy. The bathrooms are clean although much smaller than they appear in the photos. Issues: Despite the advertised “10pm-7am lights out” policy, the bright overhead lights were turned on at 11:30pm by others in my dorm. There was noise from the hallway until late into the night. The biggest issue, however, was getting into the hotel. The email where an access code was supposed to be provided had a blank line where the code was supposed to be, and I was unable to reach the listed number as an international traveler with an e-SIM. If another guest hadn’t let me in, I would have had to pay for a full day of roaming cell coverage. I would try a different hostel next time in Berlin."
