Hotel 2 Bintang di Berlin

It’s a really nice location and great service. However, better be aware with the strangers inside the room as my room experienced a guy who came in without a card and the next day some of our roommate lost their thing. Besides, it’s still a great hostel, I met lots of great friends there, especially if you are alone, it’s a really great opportunity to hangout with others.

This B&B hotel is well-situated in Mitte, within an easy walk of shops (Alexa Mall), restaurants and transportation options. The room, though small, was well equipped and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty though little variation from day to day. The only negative is that the hotel was also hosting multiple student groups who crowded the public areas, elevators and breakfast area and were often noisy and oblivious to their impact on other travellers. This was a daily annoyance during our 4 night stay.

If your on a holiday and need a cenral place close to public transport, but still a quiet night, it's a good place. If you're looking for a mid#town party area (sleepless nights) you're off mark here, but the price of the accom may be interesting still. if you're on business and need to get up early, you won't find sleep easily because the hotel attracts customers keen on running, shouting and being noisy in general. If you look for CoVid security, the hotel has nice rules but nobidy gives a damn and nothing is enforced. If you have a room at 6th floor, to avoid the stuffed lifts is an inconvenient choice. In general. The place is clean and well maintained, tyhe crew is helpfulp. The immidiate neighbourhood is quiet but boring. If the guest next door snores you've rotten luck, if he doen;t, it's a good night. Given the price, one could do worse.

This hostel does not care about its guests. The customer service was horrible all around. During my stay- I saw one person try to check in and tell the management that their room had no clean/ available beds- to which management replied: oh yeah that happens sometimes. Then proceeded to tell the girl that she needed to find out which bed was hers herself and then wait hours for it to be cleaned. My friend also came to check in and showed her confirmation emails and everything- to which she was then bullied and ridiculed by the staff telling her they do not care about her emails she does not have a reservation in their system and since they are overbooked they cannot offer her anything. So she needed to find a new place to stay late at night at the busiest weekend in Berlin and she was not even offered an apology. Only bullying. Since my friend could not stay I asked for a refund so I could go to another place and stay with her. They told me they would address my problem the next day and let me know what could be done. When I asked them to give me an answer the same day since I do not want to book another place and have to pay for both places they firmly responded that they did not understand why I was upset since they told me they would deal with my problem the next day through email. Do I even need to say that I never received a reply to my email or any other form or communication from them??????

Overall it’s nice and the staff were very friendly, but if you’re traveling with a lot of heavy luggage like me alone, the way from central station is not far but the roads might be a bit rough, Lots of rock and peddle streets for suitcases to scroll through.

This is a very affordable 2 star hotel and it certainly feels like it. They provide the bare minimum and not much more. Our stay was OK with some disappointments. The biggest problem was the bathroom. Bathroom floor was filthy and there was quite a large amount of visible black mold on the walls. Also the area was quite shady and we didn't feel safe walking around in the evening. Service was OK and the breakfast was fine compared to the price. Air conditioning worked well. Over all an average stay but we probably would not stay here again.

This is absolutely not what is sold in the pictures. It’s tired and run down. We had actually upgraded two weeks before arriving. Thinking we were getting an apartment room with sofa and somewhere we could relax after sightseeing. It was two rooms side by side with very old hard squeaky beds. Two showers, though extremely small, and one smelt of sewage all the time. The kitchen area was tiny. We paid over £600 for four nights, I know we didn’t expect luxury, but we expected more than we got, so not like any of the photos on the website. The cleaners need to get rid of the cobwebs hanging from the lights and pictures that are on the wall. A very noisy place, smelt awful. If we return to Germany. It would NOT be to this hotel.

It is a very reasonably priced hotel a few kilometres north of the centre of Berlin and so very conveniently located for a tourist. It is also just 5 minutes walk away from the U Bahn and from there it is just 20 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate area..

My son and I had a nice stay at the hotel. Upsides: - Excellent location right beside a U-bahn station and trams. And a great variety of restaurants next to the hotel - Great breakfast - Good room temperature Downsides - Facing Rosenthaler Platz where you have a lot of traffic and people enjoying the Berlin vibe be aware that the rooms are quite noisy..I slept with earplugs - The room was very small with no place to store our luggage I give it 4/5 due to the price. Considering the downsides our stay was a bit too pricey.
