This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast is fantastic and has good vegetarian options, with very attentive staff. The bar is not cheap, however the quality is excellent. The reception is visually impactful, and the staff are brilliant. The gym is currently being repaired which is a shame, however they have made alternative arrangements available for guests that are desperate. Unfortunately this is one of the few areas of Berlin that does not have easy access to delightful late night takeaway food, however it is perfect for tourist sites.

We just spent 5 nights at the Regent. We booked their least expensive room and it was still fabulous. This is one of those hotels that does everything right. The hotel lobby and the rooms are elegant and yet not stuffy. The staff is totally friendly to everyone - from the business people in the breakfast rooms right on over to us traveler types in our polar fleece and REI travel pants:) Breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the sheets high quality. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are incredible. Full tub, large shower, big mirrors, good lighting. The toiletries are L’Occitane. There’s a high-end coffee maker and pods. The locations is perfect. We did a ton of walking - and in walking, I saw many of the other Berlin hotels I had considered in my research. None of the other locations is this perfect - especially for a first-time tourist to Berlin. We could walk to Museum Island in under 10 minutes. 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. 10 minutes to the Checkpoint Charlie area. I cannot compliment the Regent enough. It is one of those rare hotels that just did it all right for us.

One of the best hotels of our entire Europe trip. The hotel is conveniently situated right outside of the S/U-bahn station, Berlin Friedrichstrasse station. There are two entrances for the hotel and both look very grand, the lobby is nicely decorated and they even prepared tea and a light snack (cake/cookies) for guests while we chill at the lobby. Check-in was pleasant and the hotel staffs were all extremely polite and cheerful, really make our day. We were assigned a room at level 4 with a very nice city view, the room is clean, spacious and it is really contemporary and modern, with a huge mirror for your daily OOTD shots. The breakfast was really great, the spread was huge and it provides a many selections to cater to different needs. I extremely love their pancake making machine which makes fresh pancakes within 30sec. The staffs were attentive to clear off the plates and helpful. Overall, it was a perfect stay and we will definitely visit NH Berlin again!

Firstly on to the positives - the location is convenient, the staff is friendly and helpful and the common areas are mostly what you would expect from a Westin Grand. It is clear that they have not spent much resources on keeping the guest rooms up-to-date though, the air circulation was sub-par (very try air throughout the room) and the gym is a big disappointment. A few older treadmills and cross-trainers but no free weights or other equipment. Also, no room service before 5 pm is unheard of for property that markets itself as five-star. All-in-all more akin to an average four-star property but with a Westin brand attached to it. Will not be in a hurry to return.

I really liked this little boutique hotel. It was very, very clean and EXTREMELY quiet!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PEACE AND QUIET at a hotel, which is difficult to have. The room was classic European; quaint, small and was very clean - no dust anywhere and I appreciate that. The windows in the room REALLY kept any outside noise out. I thought there were birds in the area because I couldn't hear them! When opened the windows, I heard them. That's just how good they were at keeping the noise out. I did LOVE the church bells however. I opened the windows and recorded them when I could, they sounded so pretty. The water was wonderfully hot and the the spray was strong and felt so good against my skin. The water was soft and didn't dry my skin out like the water in the area I live in in the states. The hotel staff was very courteous and always kind. I am American and am HIGHLY fond of European breakfast! The breakfast here did not disappoint to me. The beds were lovely and just the right amount of firmness for me. I would definitely stay here again. The chocolate croissants were to die for! I hate I missed them on my last day.

In summary: Superb breakfast, good rooms, pretty good location (but there are better in Berlin), a few details could be improved. Good value for money. Accor has a huge range of hotels in Berlin, this is for them a midrange offering. The rooms are of reasonable size, I had a huge bathroom, minibar and room safe. Very clean. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Free wifi good enough for video streaming (there's also 'premium wifi' you can pay for). TV and heating controls fussy. Shower gel holder in the bathroom remained empty throughout my four day stay though there was liquid soap by the sink. Reading lights in room below average. Reception friendly, a little chaotic. The hotel restaurant is open in the evenings, snacks and drinks available after hours. Locked luggage storage next to reception. Breakfast is really nice - great coffee and fruit juice, all the rest as you would expect including some cold fish dishes. One level below an 'omelette bar' status but still pretty good for this price level of hotel. Location in Berlin Mitte is pretty good - they're two U-Bahn stations and several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, even though some of the bus schedules are a bit disappointing. Nikolaiviertel is 5 minutes walk away and if you increase your walking time to 15 minutes you can get to Alexanderplatz and Museuminsel easily enough. There are better location hotels in Mitte but it's quite OK really. Good value for money; rates vary quite a bit by day of the week (so if your travel days are flexible play around with your stay dates). I generally stay either more downmarket or more upmarket than this but it's interesting to see how a midrange hotel works - quite OK, though as often in this category of hotel proactive detail management doesn't get priority. I would recommend.

Five minutes later after completing my information (which hotels usually have by the time you arrive), I was asked if I booked via their website, and I replied that it was through Hotwire.com. The employee said, “You can’t check in through the iPad, please check in through your phone by scanning this QR code.” I am traveling internationally and did not turn on my service so I kindly asked for the wifi. Again I waited an additional five minutes for a wifi log-in since it is typically your room number and last name. I completed the very long self check-in process and was completing the part where you enter the credit card information. She came back and said exactly this: “You can just leave it.” It? I’m assuming this useless iPad that she handed me for no reason. Came back minutes later and said, “Oh you don’t have to enter that part. That’s what I meant by leave it.” Whatever. I have no problem doing self check-out when it’s at a grocery store or a vending machine. Perhaps it would have been more more efficient for the hotel to buy self check out robots that spit out a room key instead of paying employees that are only present to do what? Oh, poured me a champagne. I believe she was better at that. Enough with check-in, let’s make the best of the weekend! Design and vibe is fantastic, excellent location. Things I wish I knew before I booked this hotel: Housekeeping only cleans your room on the second day, so make your bed and don’t drop those towels on the floor. Oh they’ll give you new ones if you’d like, but similar to self check-in you have to fetch them yourself from the front desk, who would be the very ‘helpful’ employee I had mentioned earlier. Body wash? You better bring that bottle of hand soap from the sink before you hop in the shower or else you’d have to run out, get the floor all wet, then bring it in with you. It was clean. If you have a room close to the elevators, be prepared to hear those heavy doors slam. It’s Berlin, so it can slam at any hour. We opted out of the 16 euro per person breakfast because according to the reviews from 2020 it was 7.50 euro, a double price increase. I’ll bring my money elsewhere, because at this rate I’ll end up frying my own eggs. They do provide slippers and a bottle of sparkling mineral water.

I absolutely LOVED my 3 night stay at The Circus Hotel. I seriously didn’t want to leave! I was delighted when Marianne checked us in and told us we had been upgraded to one of the best rooms (since it was our honeymoon)! The whole room was fantastically perfect; we had a private terrace to view the city and drink our sparkling wine, the bed was VERY comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, and the shower was large and easy to use with great water pressure. There was plenty of information about the hotel and the city within the resources in the room, which really appealed to me as an anxious traveller. Tobi and the staff capably took care of 5 little ducklings that jumped from the roof to our terrace when we were relaxing in the room! After being very tired of continental breakfast at other hotels across Europe, we were so happy to eat in the Circus’ lounge in the morning. We ate our favorite breakfasts there every morning, served by the lovely Luiza and Tay. The hotel’s lounge/lobby area is so perfectly eccentric and funky, with very fun furniture and lighting fixtures. We also really really enjoyed Lost My Voice bar! We drank so many sinfully delicious cocktails there in the evenings. I 100000% recommend The Circus Hotel. The value was even great; I paid $900 for three nights, SO many cocktails, and 3 breakfasts for two people.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Numa Nook Berlin. The apartment was so clean and had everything you could possibly need. The balcony was an added bonus to have breakfast & nightcaps! We had the most restful & comfortable sleep ever, pillows & mattress & duvet brilliant! The apartment block is literally round the corner from a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and all sight seeing is very easily accessible. Communication via email was efficient and never without delay. We can highly recommend Numa Nook and would love to return.
