I showed up at 12h30 and they charged me 20e for early check in. That s a disgrace, havent seen tat again in the hospitality industry, someone should speak the managers about the market and what hospitality means. Either there is no available room or you dont charge the customer and you grant them early check in. The fact that the customer pays for a whole day but should check in 3 hours later than what should have normally be the check in hour, happens because the hotels should allow 2-3 hours for the cleaning of the rooms. But when a room is available then it is abuse of the system to charge them 20e extra, they have already paid the whole 24h. It is not the 20e, I couldnt care less, it is the fact that 20 years of business trips and travelling around the world it is the first time that I have paid for early check in at 12h30 (if it was 11h00 or 10h00 or 09h00 it might have made sense, even though in many hotels I was granted early check in even at that hours, but ok there would have been a logical base). On top of that, when other chains and hotels give on a Sunday automatically 2 hours more or are very flexible because of many checking outs and because they want to keep their customers happy and returning (one of the main business objectives in the hospitality industry), I have asked for 30 more because of being late at waking up, the receptionists told me to do as fast as I can 20 mins if I can 😅 because they were supposedly in a difficult situation (not true, havent seen anybody when checking out, not a soul in the reception or in the cafe/bar) Asking if I could delay 2 hours and pay a surcharge of 20e, she told me no a whole extra day is charged if I want to check out at 14h00 (ahahaha). I had a great time in Berlin as always, so I did not bother to raise any issue, but next time I know where to not go when I need accomodation in Berlin 😅 Also, 4 star hotel with no minibar or fridge? In Berlin, in a new hotel? I consider the contemporary German culture fair and reliable. This is an example that shows the contrary. For the rest no frills accomodation, newly built, nice area mainly for clubbing, the arena and the east gallery, but far from the centres of Berlin

Convenient location and nice breakfast.

Great hotel for the film fest, located right next to Verti music hall. Extremely convenient.

The room was super clean. The hotel is centrally located. Walking distance from a shopping mall and the train station. We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. Other than that, everything else was awesome.

Everything was good, the room allotted could have been better considering I was traveling with my partner. Food was decent 😋

The room was very noisy. The corridor is not very clean or need some renovations. The servant at breakfast doesn't follow the hygiene rules and touches upper parts of the utensils. Breakfast is a bit expensive. Overall it is might be an okay option to stay but there are much better places in the area.

The surrounding area is convenient, with a small supermarket and shopping mall nearby. There are many restaurants, including Starbucks and McDonald's. The hotel is clean and tidy, but not very large. The Berlin Wall is right outside the door.

It's quite good, located in a scenic area, within walking distance to the Sbahn light rail. The key point is that all the fun things in East Berlin are around, mainly for walking to Berghain ~ Hahaha dddd

The hotel is relatively new and has a good location. The attitude of the front desk staff needs to be improved.

The front desk service is warm and professional. The breakfast is mostly Western style, which is not bad. It would be better if there were fried eggs. The room is clean and hygienic, and the tea bags are changed every day. I stayed there for 5 consecutive days. The surrounding area is the subway station and shopping mall, which is convenient.

It's a good place to stay if you want to watch a concert. It's a few minutes' walk to the venue. It's average value for money.

The location is good, it is relatively quiet to sleep at night, there is a shopping mall next to it, there are many choices of supermarkets and restaurants. Very close to the Berlin Wall. The room has air conditioning, which is inconsistent with the information introduced by Ctrip Hotel.
