a budget hotel with budget facilities. I expected nothing more and nothing less. In my experience it is what it says in the description. The location is good, close to a metro station and within walking distance of checkpoint Charlie. The hotel had a nice bar area adjoining the check in desk. With a comfortable place to sit down. The bed is very soft though in a twin room they are too close together. The hotel offers AC in the hotel room and a radiator for towels in the bathroom. However the AC is a bit week, so give yourself plenty of time to cool down before you sleep.

Hotel bernilai sangat baik dengan harga $ 40 / malam. Lokasi cukup bagus, beberapa hiburan malam yang santai di kawasan berhampiran. Ruangan itu sendiri sangat kecil, hampir seperti sebuah asrama, dan tidak begitu bersih sama ada dengan kipas A / C buruk yang tidak dapat dikawal dengan baik. Jika tidak, ia tetap selesa.

This is great if you stay in Berlin for a few days. It’s good that public transport is right outside the hostel. It’s a bit far from the main city so you will have to get a few public transport to get there. The beds are squeaky but comfortable enough. The television is in German which is expected. There is no rooms with a shower or toilet in them, so you will have to walk to the shower and toilet. It is a shared bathroom. You will need to give separate deposit if you need towels and utensils and to wash and dry your clothes. The deposit can only be made in cash. There are no bins in the room but the rooms do have a fridge and a locker and a table and chairs. The hostel is great for sleeping and then leaving the next day to do activities.

I have stayed here twice now and have no major complaints! The location is great, right in the train station and only two stops from the city centre. The hotel also give you a travel pass to use on all public transport for the duration of your stay - AMAZING! This is a huge money saver. The rooms are a good size and ours had a fridge. The window opens well to ventilation. The staff are super friendly and helpful! This is a great hotel for money value. We will for sure be back!

This hotel has had a revamp and is now called the Art Hotel, Park Plaza. There is another Park Plaza nearby…..we ended up there first! So don’t get confused!! Once you find this hotel….we arrived on the day of a national strike… it’s fab. Ignore the journey planner…. This hotel is a less than 10 min walk from the western end of the U1 line. The room we had was on 5th floor on a quite busy street, but it was so quiet we didn’t realise it until we looked out of the window the following morning. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, a great night sleep was had by us both. Shower was a big rainfall type with a smaller head shower head option if you wanted. Complimentary Elemis shower gel, hand wash, as well as body lotion. Breakfast was worth every penny as part of your B&B option. Otherwise it’s €18 for a full option or €5 for coffee and a croissant in the bar. Breakfast was fresh, pastries, cheese, meats, toast, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cereals, yoghurts; you could make your own fresh juice from fresh veggies & fruits. Coffee was excellent (I was told)…. I took my own teabags as I am very fussy, and made great tea. There is a spectacular hot water urn……that is very ornate and was awesome. Staff were multilingual and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very insightful about the local area, and the available public transport options. I would highly recommend this hotel which has pop art throughout. We are planning to head back to visit Berlin again and we will most certainly stay here again.

If your on a holiday and need a cenral place close to public transport, but still a quiet night, it's a good place. If you're looking for a mid#town party area (sleepless nights) you're off mark here, but the price of the accom may be interesting still. if you're on business and need to get up early, you won't find sleep easily because the hotel attracts customers keen on running, shouting and being noisy in general. If you look for CoVid security, the hotel has nice rules but nobidy gives a damn and nothing is enforced. If you have a room at 6th floor, to avoid the stuffed lifts is an inconvenient choice. In general. The place is clean and well maintained, tyhe crew is helpfulp. The immidiate neighbourhood is quiet but boring. If the guest next door snores you've rotten luck, if he doen;t, it's a good night. Given the price, one could do worse.

Loved the Park Inn. Great location and best view in Berlin. Allowed early check in and breakfast was absolutely superb.

Overall we had a great stay at H4 hotel. The check-in and check-out were seamless. The room was clean and room service was done regularly. It’s located at a very happening place. Most popular attractions were at walking distance and tram and train services were very close by. Also you get lot of food options to choose from restaurants nearby and grab quick snacks from the supermarket behind.

Exceptional quirky pod hotel…. more a pod hotel than a hostel although it has that friendly social hostel feel with the other guests. A really unusual theme which many others checking in remarked on how cool it was. There’s screens showing a planet or stars moving down each corridor to add to the space station feel. The pods are very comfortable with the novelty of different lighting. Folding table, charge points, mirror, clock etc. The doors lock as you close them making you feel very secure and needs a button pressing to open them again (shall we open the airlock captain haha). It really does feel like many sci-fi movies or console games. The washrooms are the cleanest most luxurious I’ve seen in a shared place. More like a corridor with individual private bathrooms you can lock yourself in. Modern dark tiling and very clean. Wi-Fi is good as we’d expect/demand. Local area felt safe and was a manageable walk for someone fit to the Brandenburg Gate for example at half an hour. Checkpoint Charlie area is really near to give an orientation. There’s a Lidl nearby for eats and great range of beers. Not hard to find restaurants though. Buses go outside and regularly. One negative, the upper pods are accessed by floating stairs and a handle to pull yourself up with. It can be a little tricky and completely unsuitable for anyone infirm.

In summary: Superb breakfast, good rooms, pretty good location (but there are better in Berlin), a few details could be improved. Good value for money. Accor has a huge range of hotels in Berlin, this is for them a midrange offering. The rooms are of reasonable size, I had a huge bathroom, minibar and room safe. Very clean. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Free wifi good enough for video streaming (there's also 'premium wifi' you can pay for). TV and heating controls fussy. Shower gel holder in the bathroom remained empty throughout my four day stay though there was liquid soap by the sink. Reading lights in room below average. Reception friendly, a little chaotic. The hotel restaurant is open in the evenings, snacks and drinks available after hours. Locked luggage storage next to reception. Breakfast is really nice - great coffee and fruit juice, all the rest as you would expect including some cold fish dishes. One level below an 'omelette bar' status but still pretty good for this price level of hotel. Location in Berlin Mitte is pretty good - they're two U-Bahn stations and several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, even though some of the bus schedules are a bit disappointing. Nikolaiviertel is 5 minutes walk away and if you increase your walking time to 15 minutes you can get to Alexanderplatz and Museuminsel easily enough. There are better location hotels in Mitte but it's quite OK really. Good value for money; rates vary quite a bit by day of the week (so if your travel days are flexible play around with your stay dates). I generally stay either more downmarket or more upmarket than this but it's interesting to see how a midrange hotel works - quite OK, though as often in this category of hotel proactive detail management doesn't get priority. I would recommend.
