A terrible experience which I recount here through an official complaint made to the hotel which they were unable to resolve so I've had to approach trading standards: On the second night at 1am I was awoken by raised voices / shouting and running in the corridor outside my room. I would guess that this continued for at least 15 - 20 minutes on off. This ultimately meant that I had very little sleep as I already was leaving early in the morning to return to work. This was of course very unsettling as I'm sure you can imagine, not knowing ones personal safety and what was taking place in close proximity to me. I'm unsure how these individuals were able to pass through what are supposed to be secure access swipe-card doors. I understand from reception when checking out later this morning that these intruders had managed to vandalise part of the hotel, and they had had to call the police. I would like to know what procedures and protocols you will be putting in place to prevent any similar such incidents occurring again and to ensure the safety and well-being of all your guests. As part of your "good night guarantee" and as I feel that there was not the safety for guests that would have expected, I wish to request a full refund for my stay.
