Villa Accomodation is worth the money spent. If you are looking for Privacy on your vacation you can't go wrong with this place. Meals/ Food options are subpar. Breakfast arrived cold and tasteless on almost everyday. Not having a Breakfast Buffet doesn't help either. If you must serve in the rooms, please invest in hot counters, insulated carts and steel covers to prevent food from getting cold. Cling wraps are bad for environment and make food soggy. Food, even if it was hot, I would have still given 2 out of 5. For instance, take a look at this Margerita Pizza we received on day 1 of our arrival.

We had a wonderful stay with Four Points by Sheraton at Bintan. I stayed a few resorts at Bintan in the past and thought to have a try with this new resort this round. With few room pictures on platform, it took me a while to make the decision. The resort turns out not only new hardware facilities but also excellent services from Front Desk (Mr Kaleb and Ms Ledy) to restaurants (Mr Dimas). Appreciate the housekeeping team for the Birthday decorations in room and dining team for the breakfast birthday celebration surprise! Will come back again :)

The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish. Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner. However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top. In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Bintan, and it exceeded my expectations. The design is modern and vibrant, reflecting the local culture beautifully. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist. The beachfront location is perfect for relaxation, with stunning views and easy access to activities. The food options were varied and delicious, offering a mix of local and international cuisines. Overall, this hotel provides a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authenticity. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bintan.

We had a good stay at Natra. The staffs are all very friendly and nice, and they even granted our request for anniversary decorations, and they also help us with early checkin and late checkout. The location is just beside the ferry terminal and they have a complimentary shuttle service. The breakfast buffet was also good and got variety of choices. I like our room it was nicely decorated and the hotel itself has a nice concept. However, as this is glamping style, expect that the room doesn’t have a proper wall and you will be able to hear the noise outside very clearly. Our room was near the restaurant and there was a live band at night that played really loud music until 10:30pm. Couldn’t get an early night rest. They need to improve on housekeeping to check about the towels provided, we go a towel with stains and the other one has a hole. But overall, we still had a good stay and recommend this for a quick getaway.

Decent stay for a 3D2N getaway. Room was clean, spacious and cosy. Loved how there was both aircon and ceiling fan. Pool area was nice with direct access to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. They had a foam party on Saturday which left the pool murky on Sunday morning. Pool side beds kept sliding down and couldn’t seem to be secured to the chair. Lift and toilets outside had a weird smell - smelled like they mopped it over and over again rather than cleaned it. Overall, a pleasant stay for a short getaway. Would recommend! Do take note there’s nothing much to do nearby so would recommend you to plan ahead on doing your own activities/planning for your transport.

The 'resort' in itself does deliver as advertised. It does indeed provide the glamping experience, and even has a proper toilet per tent. The toilet is an attached one to the tent, meaning it is not included in the air conditioning, and should remain closed aways to prevent insects from going into the tent. Having 2 sinks is a decent touch though. The tent itself is quite clean, but don't keep your hopes up on the skylight window as mine was faulty (and many people I see online did not mention using it). The service is pretty decent. Despite all communication being done via WhatsApp, the replies are pretty timely. Breakfast was a passable spread, with decent local and western flavours. Nothing luxurious. Only complain is that the transport is extremely pricey, do avoid their transport options and try to see if booking via external platforms like Klook is viable.

Zia is an exceptional individual at Banyan Tree, radiating friendliness and delivering impeccable service. Their warmth and dedication create an atmosphere where every guest feels valued. Their professional demeanor and genuine kindness elevate the experience, leaving guests with a lasting impression of hospitality at its finest.

Sprawling area with villas and hotels. Location - It's far from the city (no big deal cos nothing in tanjung pinang city) but near the ferry terminal. Full amenities but not sure about maintenance - seemed run down for flying fox, archery, wall climbing. Room was OK, bed and pillows were comfortable. The water pressure in the toilet was low and the shower was not enjoyable. Impossible to move around in Grab or Gojek and please book your rental. The one offered by hotel was high. In fact, hotel offers a suite of amenities but price is high. Took the buggy to explore and it was SGD 20/Hr. Had dinner in Coffee house and 2pax was SGD 80; service was good but quality not so (saltish).

I rated cleanliness as 4/5 as it was almost perfect clean but there was a cockroach in my room. This I might not fully blame the resort as we are in nature. This resort is perfect is you are looking for secluded and quiet spot to getaway for a family or a couple. You won’t need to venture out. But it’s a long drive to the resort to the ferry where you need to factor travelling time in your itinerary. I went with my family and the in-house farm was a blast for my kid feeding bunnies, chickens and fishes. Kiki the person in charge was very friendly and served us well. There is a club for kids activities. Service was perfect. Everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs. I would go back again. Take note that is 21% charges of tax on top of the prices - service charges and Govt tax.
