Ulasan Doulos Phos the Ship Hotel

Good location as it is near the ferry terminal. However, there are lots of bed bugs/insects in the cabin room.

This is a wonderful hsstorical ship hotel! My first experience here. Mr Eric, the Singaporean ship owner was there too! To celebrate Singapore's National Day, we had fireworks during the dinner buffet. Really awesome!

This ‘ship’ hotel is very near to ferry terminal, about 5 mins walking distance or even less than, it is just beside the ferry terminal. Hotel provided FREE shuttle service for checkin and checkout. Working staffs are very friendly, will great us whenever see us. There is a smell in the “ship” hotel, but still acceptable.

Amazing , incredible, exceptional staff,beautiful staff, breakfast exellent, room very clean , but the dinner was disappointing, my partners food was cold and I brought mine up again in my room.

Love the location! 5 min walk from ferry terminal and unique accomodation on a ship. Go for the free ship tour.

View is excellent but 1. room service will only be done if you put the room service sign on the door knob but this was not informed by reciption during our check-in. 2. the quality of the shower gel is not good (i.e. does not seem to foam and body does not feel clean after showering).

ultra highly recommended. the story of the Singaporean, Mr Eric Saw, saving this 95 year old (USA-Made) ship from the scrapyard is utterly mind-blowing. what's more, we got to attend the daily Ship Tour (at 10am and 4pm) to hear the history and enter the engine rooms and top deck etc. a must go for vintage ship fans. it's truly an all access pass to learn about ship + have a great time at the hotel, swimming pool, spa etc. i cant stop recommending this place enough

I was there on 1st day of CNY, we had a wonderful night, buffet dinner by the pool with live music, despite the sudden shower, it was great with fire crackers and sparkles for everyone to celebrate the ***** new year. The pool is amazing, having to enjoyed the sunset by the pool with a glass of cold beer, sea breezes, awesome! The hotel needs to improve on their food and menu but the breakfast was good with eggs station and fresh fruits. Although the front office staff were a bit slow but all are very polite, special thanks to Sam ( if I’m not wrong the name ), Bestrin & Victor. You can feel their sincerity at heart to make you enjoy your stay at Doulos Phos The Ship. Plus point~ the ship tour

Aa vegetarians, we were worried about the food. But the staff made us amazing breakfast eachday, specially made vegetarian dinner one of the nights. Great location and hospitality. Would recommend.

Stayed from 10-12 February during the CNY weekend, so it’s understandable that the hotel can get crowded. However, I (and many other guests) could only retrieved our hotel keys at 4pm, despite check-in time at 2pm. While we were waiting, the staff members at the counter were simply talking around and apparently doing nothing to solve the issue quickly. The only one doing something to streamline the check-in process was George. I have to commend his service as he attended to our enquiries confidently and provided a solution to our problems. That being said, I love the room I stayed in, which was the Suite with Balcony. The room was large and spacious, and the air-conditioner was strong (thankfully as Bintan was crazy hot!). I also managed to get a good sleep due to the comfy bed. As such, had an overall satisfied stay at Doulos Phos and would recommend travellers to stay here, considering that it’s only a 2-mins drive away from the terminal. One thing that the hotel can improve on is the staff efficiency and work flow during peak periods.

It provided free transfer even for such a short distance. Breakfast was enough. The cabin with balcony was awesome. The staffs were friendly and service was fantastic. Our daughter had the most memorable birthday celebration there. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel.

Hotel is unique, excellent customer service from staffs.The only downside is that foods are just average, breakfast not much varieties, no room service and expect price of food and beverages to be on the high side
