Had a wonderful time with friends. Accommodating and curteous staff with wonderful live bands at night. Needs some varieties with breakfast menu though.

Excellent location. Amazing sunsets. The service is excellent. We enjoyed the free cocktails on Wednesdays and Fridays. And we enjoyed the free popsicles and juice when you lounge at the pool. The staff will go out of your way to take care of you. Very large rooms

We recently stayed at the Mithi for one week on November and it was a beautiful hotel to stay at, the pool and views are beautiful, we did snorkelling just off the beach the hotel has a boat and they will take you out to the reef which is really good, the rooms are cleaned great, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful they are all great, the food is very nice but you do need to add a few more vegetarian options to the menu, there is not much around so you do need to rent a motor bike or pay for a tuk tuk to see the island, I would definitely recommend staying here, Thankyou for a great holiday! We were there to scout snorkeling locations. The owner showed us around and arranged a boat for us to visit the sites we were interested in. He was very nice, friendly and accommodating. It all looks very nice and seems extremely well maintained. It's all very recent construction. There are plenty of deluxe details. Big beds, super quiet aircon, great wifi, one way glass in the front windows of the rooms! The kitchen at the restaurant is large and very well appointed. It was the chef's day off but food was procured from the resort next door. The waitress was not well trained but was a 10 visually. I'm told the snorkeling was a paradise on Earth prior to Typhoon Odette. Now it is only average and will take many years to regain its former glory. The soft corals are starting to recover but the hard corals are down for the count. We did see some large sea turtles. The hardcore freedivers in our group said that it's still glorious at depths of 35 feet and more, so scuba divers will not be disappointed.

We stayed here for the seventh time while visiting relatives nearby. We understand the resort is in new ownership and regrettably standards have dropped. Our room was very clean, but, unlike previous visits, lacked an easy chair in the room and only had a blanket with no top sheet on the bed, which we found very unsatisfactory. The pool which has previously been sparkling clean on each visit, was cloudy throughout our stay and with the surrounds was getting quite rundown. The menu now offers a significantly reduced range of unexciting food although the quality was good. The staff, as usual, were exceptional - very friendly, well presented and efficient. Despite these drawbacks, the resort offers good value and the location a short walk to Alona Beach is very convenient.

This establishment is more like a pleasant community than a normal resort. Everyone is very polite & more than willing to help no matter how small the request is. Everything is first clas & surprisingly affordable. Everything is provide with 2 swimming poolings,24 hor security,great restaurant & a beautiful well cared landscape. A personal room phone is provided for all your needs, water, room service or laundry.

Definitely not my favourite hotel - in fact I left after the first night of my 3 night booking & forfeited my payment for the remaining nights. BED... If you like sleeping on a FIRM bed similar to a timber floor, then the bed will suit you fine. If you prefer a more luxurious softer bed then book a different hotel. Even when Housekeeping put 2 comforters between the bed & the sheet, it was still HARD. BATHROOM Again very different to usual Filipino standards. On the bed were 2 face washers & 2 towels (about the size of typical western hand towels), plus in the bathroom was 2 ”Bath Towels” (narrow long flimsy open weave fabric) for exfoliating your body not drying it. Getting dry after the shower was definitely a challenge. BREAKFAST For a westerner, there was no cereal to start the day. The buffet containers for both the fried eggs & the back were empty, so I asked if they could be replenished. The hostess immediately went to the kitchen & promptly returned with a plate of fried eggs & another plate of bacon. I thought YIPPEE, I will have fresh hot breakfast, but I was sadly disappointed as both the eggs & the bacon were cold - obviously left on a bench in the kitens after being cooked sometime earlier. If you want butter to go with your sweet toast, you have to ask for it. Vegemite on sweet toast is a strange taste. Cappucino coffee is NOT included in breakfast. POWER OUTLETS If you have travelled to the Philippines you will know that their power outlets are two flat vertical pins. NOT HERE, they are the Korean recessed circular pins which made charging my devices a challenge. Thankfully reception had Korean/Filipino adapters. POOL It was nice!

The place is highly recommended for families whose primary aim is to r and r.It is quiet and laid back compares to other areas in panglao.The room is spacious,clean and homey. The food is decandent.On top of that,there’s a wide array of food choices.The service is commendable.Will surely come back again.
