We booked a Deluxe room, which at 36 square meters was the largest non-suite of our trip. Upon checkin, they wanted a 1K cash deposit so that we could charge things. They only gave us one card key, and said they couldn’t give us others that night since the hotel was full. When we went back to our room it was much warmer, since the power had been off. The next day we got another key. The room looked good at first. It had a room-service menu and Kleenex (actually harder, like small paper towels). The WiFi was strong, and worked with my Kindle, unlike most. We had various problems with the room, however. The safe was too small for a laptop, and didn’t even have batteries in it. The desk had a bad working position. The bed had only a blanket, not a sheet. The shower fan didn’t work; we told them about it on our first evening there, but they didn’t fix it while we were there. There was no hand towel, only a bath mat and shower towels. The shower could be better: the overhead rain head had low flow and the handheld one liked to fall down. It was hard to figure out how to turn off the some of the bathroom lights in Kew: I figured out that they’re under a water-protecting cover in the bathroom, separate from the main bathroom light switch, which was outside. They want you to put towels on the floor if they should be replaced, and a card on the pillow to replace linens. We saw a cockroach by the door when we came back to the room once, but managed to get him outside of the room. It was difficult to adjust the curtain, and the first night we didn’t close it completely so it was bright in the morning. There was a good bit of street noise on our top floor room. In the morning, we discovered that there’d been a window open since we arrived. After I closed it, there still seemed to be a good bit of street noise, and we discovered that the AC unit wasn't well sealed. One time they made up our room but took our shower towels; they quickly provided new ones when informed. The humidity was rather high unless we turned the temperature down to around 73F. The toilet tended to get clogged, and we had to ask a second time to get it unclogged. In August, 2022 their roof deck lounge wasn't operational after the December, 2021 typhoon, though they appeared to be fixing it. Their restaurant, Café Melecia, had an extensive dinner menu, and our dinner was quite good. We liked our enormous ”appetizer” of beef salpicao and leche flan, the adobong kangkong with lechon kawali not so much. They didn't have napkins on the table, so we had to request them. We didn't like their breakfast buffet as much as the other breakfast buffets we’d been to on this trip. They again didn’t have napkins. Getting there earlier helps for variety (our visits were a little after 9 AM versus a little after 9:30 AM). I liked their ham and cheese omelet, orange marmalade, and egg drop soup. I really like the customer service. I had to check out early the next day because of my flight and I asked if I can have an early breakfast. They agreed and gave me sandwiches with sandwich spread (lady’s choice?) and bottled water. Room (for 2, no windows) was small but clean and quite nice. Bed was comfortable. I had 2 complimentary water bottles, 2 toothbrushes, 2 shampoos, and 2 soaps. Room was for two but I’m the only one who stayed in the room (accidentally booked for two adults). Surprised that there was no water heater and bidet (there was only a dipper/tabo). Shower water pressure was subpar. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Only place I can put any soap was the sink. Wifi speed was good. I saw parking for 4 cars in front of the hotel. Unsure if there are more parking spaces.

We had a pleasant stay at the Metro Centre. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was fine, although I’m not a big fan of Filipino food. Hopefully the swimming pool will re open before too long.

Everything. I Love the food, the staff, and most especially the view, it was breathtaking. If you really want to relax and be one with nature this place is perfect for you. At night it was peaceful. Beautiful scenery. Worth it.😍❤️💚🏊‍♂️🏕️🌅

our host was most delightful and this truely is a special place. This place is for the type of traveller that is wanting to emerse themselves in the visaya culture of the philipines. my plan was to spend just one night here and move on but between the peaceful serenity of this place and the amazing host Enid we ended up staying an extra three nights. we left early for an.island hopping tour and our host was up at 4.45 am to make us a lunchbox that we hadnt even requested. Bohol is still underdeveloped but that is the charm of an personality of this place. we rented a car and food outlets where in tagbilaran although there are some lovely local places that are on Panglao island just 5 minutes away. everyday spent at this resort was relaxing and charming. This area has suffered due to the pandemic and i woud encourage tourists to come back and especially to stay at sherwood resort . Thank you Enid and Ann for letting us have a resort of our own for a few days and the amazing hospitality

Great Bee Farm Bohol The farm is known for Organic Farming so youll find many of these herb & vegetables gardens throughout the property. Thiscwas just a small stand but they have bigger green houses as well. The best part about Bohol Bee Farm is this huge Alfresco restaurant with terrific views of the ocean. With its wishmash of rustic tables and chairs..wooden floor boards and tree trunk. Sproating floor to ceilling . It feel like your dining in a grant treehouse overlooking the sea. Really pleasant atmosphere.. They are some home made foods like Cassava fish taco. Served in one of thier homemade cassava cones thier served thier ice cream in these cones. As well..evetything tasted really fresh.. Which offers qualty accomodations and great service. Set from the excitement of the city. This 3 star hotel commands an excellent location and provides access So much love the place and Organic gardens ...

I'm surprise to read quite a few negative reviews here about this hotel. Unfortunately, it pulled their ratings down as well. Too bad as this hotel really did a great job for us. First off, the staff was friendly and super accommodating! This is a last minute overnight booking for us. We were supposed to stay with a family but since our flight got delayed, we had to book here for the meantime. The late night airport transfer (airport pick-up) was the most convenient, as well as very helpful. The driver even offered to take us grocery shopping if needed. I mean, our flight arrived 1030pm via Korea (with 10hours layover) so both my teen son and I were exhausted. It's good to know we have someone reliable and friendly waiting for us. Despite the late night check-in, the staffs were smiling, cheerful and gave us a welcome lei necklace or shell necklace. It's my teen son's first time in Bohol, so he was happy at this unexpected welcome experience. Furthermore, our booking included a dinner for 2 but since we missed that due to our flight delay and will be checking out the next day, the staff changed that to 2 free lunch instead. That's another convenience for us, since our family will pick us up after lunch the next day. Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable - 2 double beds, strong shower pressure, cold a/c and our room included a welcome water bottles for us, which again is an add on convenience for us (esp. arriving super late at night). With a teen in tow, WiFi is important. No issues on that as their WiFi was pretty strong. The hotel itself is situated in the quiet side of Pangloa, which is a plus for us exhausted travelers. We slept and rested very well that night after a nice hot shower. The next day, my teen was excited to look around the hotel property. The pool area was clean, huge and nicely decorated. It has that island feel to it. Unfortunately, it rained and there's a lightning/thunder alert hence he was unable to swim in the pool. However, we had fun strolling around the property. It has a welcoming vibe to it. We ate at their restaurant for lunch, even invited family over. Over all, a convenient, relaxing- stress free and comfortable overnight stay here. Will we stay here again? Definitely!
