Definitely not my favourite hotel - in fact I left after the first night of my 3 night booking & forfeited my payment for the remaining nights. BED... If you like sleeping on a FIRM bed similar to a timber floor, then the bed will suit you fine. If you prefer a more luxurious softer bed then book a different hotel. Even when Housekeeping put 2 comforters between the bed & the sheet, it was still HARD. BATHROOM Again very different to usual Filipino standards. On the bed were 2 face washers & 2 towels (about the size of typical western hand towels), plus in the bathroom was 2 ”Bath Towels” (narrow long flimsy open weave fabric) for exfoliating your body not drying it. Getting dry after the shower was definitely a challenge. BREAKFAST For a westerner, there was no cereal to start the day. The buffet containers for both the fried eggs & the back were empty, so I asked if they could be replenished. The hostess immediately went to the kitchen & promptly returned with a plate of fried eggs & another plate of bacon. I thought YIPPEE, I will have fresh hot breakfast, but I was sadly disappointed as both the eggs & the bacon were cold - obviously left on a bench in the kitens after being cooked sometime earlier. If you want butter to go with your sweet toast, you have to ask for it. Vegemite on sweet toast is a strange taste. Cappucino coffee is NOT included in breakfast. POWER OUTLETS If you have travelled to the Philippines you will know that their power outlets are two flat vertical pins. NOT HERE, they are the Korean recessed circular pins which made charging my devices a challenge. Thankfully reception had Korean/Filipino adapters. POOL It was nice!

Food compliment super duper ang taste, the ribs very soft and tender juicy, worth it to come back dish,.the mixed seafoods very fresh and tasty, the tonkatsu so crispy yet soft..sarap balik-balikan, priceless ang elegant taste. over all comment, mouth watering and unforgetable experience dining there!! the service, the crew Anton and Ann, were all professional.and accomodating... of course, with the great leader and the best executive chef Rod ”Nonoy” Nasis who created all the menu.. sobrang thank you Paprika at DONATELA HOTEL for the wonderful and sumptuous dinner.. the ambiance is perfect as.well!! nothing beats Donatela, incomparable!! over all comment... WORLD CLASS👍💯 sulit na dapat may ulit😘

Kami melanjutkan penginapan kami di hotel ini kerana kakitangan yang menampung dan suasana yang begitu santai. Jika anda ingin melarikan diri dari kehidupan sibuk anda. Cuba henann. Reservations team was so responsive and accommodating. Front desk staffs were more transactional. They can't seem to like interacting with guests since by the time we arrived until we checked out. F and B staffs were more courteous like saying Hi and hello. Housekeeping was helpful. Aircon works well. Room is clean. I love the hot and cold shower as well. We love the easy access to the pool. We had the room on the ground floor which is good for us. Minor issues : - they don't provide extra bed for extra person. Room towel as well. Very limited. However, we managed to ask pool towels from Hk team since we are mostly swimming and we really need extra towels. - front desk is just until 10pm so if you need anything, you have to check it before reception closes. But actually they have guard at night who was so helpful as well. I requested a bath mat from front desk and nothing came until i met a guy from Hk and he sent one. - though the front desk was not so helpful. Other team was able to fulfill their lapses. So its okay. We are not demanding people. its just that we lacked those in our room which are basic. Housekeeping must to check on this before check in time so we can reduce our time and effort. But overall, we had a great stay. We felt at home and we enjoyed the big pool. My son had a great time at the pool. The resort is like 5 minutes drive away from the beach. But theres tricycle outside. Kuya driver was so nice to us. Didnt demand for a high price unlike other tricycle drivers. If you need good tricycle driver. His plate number is #357.

Great stay. Very nice, and CLEAN hotel. Great staff. About 1 mile from the beach. Walking distance. Very easy to rent a motor scooter for 500 pesos a day. 7-11 1/2 mile away. I highly recommend this hotel.

I been in this resort last April 29,2022 me and my friends had so much fun swimming with their huge and clean swimming pool. Staffs are very accommodating. I like the idea of having no tv with that you can create more memories. Heavy meals are not allowed inside the which is the best to avoid smells and ants. I would really love to go back there soon. Замечательные апартаменты - просторные, чистые, некоторые моменты нужно освежить, но в целом все хорошо! Стоит отметить, что это именно апартаменты без привычного отельного сервиса. Хозяин апартаментов живет прямо по-соседству и у него есть помощники. Любые вопросы решаются быстро. Можно заказать завтрак всего за 200 песо с человека и он действительно того стоит. Ухоженная территория, большой бассейн. Правда, мы так и не поняли, как решается вопрос с уборкой, за 6 дней у нас убрались всего лишь однажды, то ли это не входит, то ли нужно специально просить. Также у хозяина можно взять в аренду байк. В каждых апартаментах есть своя изолированная терраса. В целом есть все необходимое (полотенца, посуда, плитка, чайник, холодильник, сейф). Но не хватает элементарных мелочей (в ванной не было мыла и полотенца для рук, на кухне также не было никаких полотенец и тряпок, и даже губки с моющим средством не было - в связи с чем помыть посуду было затруднительно), но думаю, если попросить - то без проблем предоставят недостающих вещей! До пляжа (Алона бич) 7 минут на байке, в пешей доступности магазинов нет, но есть пару кафе. В целом эти мелочи не омрачили наше пребывание! Рекомендую! Подойдут как для кратковременного, так и для длительного пребывания.

Staying at Halamanan Residences was a joy!!! i was surprised as i entered our villa, it was huge with an amazing perfectly manicured garden and lots of places to hang out. As we entered the property from the airport we were greeted by theor residential doggie who is sweet and then the staff who were always so accommodating and ready to help it was a breeze staying here!!! rooms are super spacious and comes with your own kitchen. Everything in the room was perfect and the Bathroom was impeccable all thought of really well. Its quiet and so relaxing!!! I highly recommend this place. I would go back in a heart beat!!! i love love HALAMANAN RESIDENCES. Thank goodness my partner found this and oh boy was i surprised at the vastness of each villa, truly a treat!!! thanks guys for making our stay super comfortable.

The breakfasts are always so good and sustain me until my next meal usually in the late afternoons or dinner na. The staff and crew that are always approachable and kind. For taking care of almost every single thing for me and then some more. Thanks, my angels! My quaint room that’s always clean, comfortable, and relaxing that there are days I just bury myself in the sheets and read all day long until the sea beckons my name. And yes, the group of expats that never fails to engage me in intelligent talks and chit chats. (Thanks for sending me drinks by the way…. I don’t really drink but hey! thanks! Cheers 🍻) The garden, the mini library, the billiard table, and the bar that give the homey feels. Until the next time…
