Because this is a 5-star venue, I arrived with high expectations for our training session. 27 Delegates had no hot water for tea/coffee because there was no electricity. We started the conference late due to this power failure too. The general manager refused to apologise and blamed it on Eskom & cable theft. Management was extremely condescending and arrogant. On day-2, 11 x Delegates complained to me about the small "bite size" Spinach Rolls tasting like paint / rancid butter. I took a photo of three spinach rolls that had one bite out of them (see attached), and then put back on the plate because they were inedible. The owner of the property (Chris Goosen) and the GM (Chris) refused to accept this feedback from 11 of my Delegates and said the "facts are they were fine". The owner Chris Goosen (15h00, 16 Aug 2024) stuck his finger in my face and said "If you put anything on social media, I will come after you." This was said in front of five of my Delegates! One delegate seeing and overhearing this came over and said he was one of the delegates who could not eat the roll because it tasted like paint. Management did not even offer to refund my client for the inedible food. Very unfair & unreasonable treatment by senior management.

Great gem around Boksburg . Fabulous rooms , clean linen .Their food is fantastic, they have a variety of meats on their menu.Too notch customer service ..from the moment I came in , I was treated like royalty . Excellent art work ..I'm definitely coming back

I would like to say a very big thank you to Alice and staff at Afrique Boutique Hotel for your assistance. My family and I had a private dinner last night and the experience was phenomenal. Special thank you to Grace and Alfred for the exceptional service. The atmosphere was excellent, the food and beverages were exquisite and we had a great overall experience. I would highly recommend Afrique Boutique Hotel to anyone who is looking for an amazing dining experience. I, for one, will definitely be returning.

I had a great experience for my 40th Bridgeton Theme birthday party. Everything exceeded my expectations! The deco, the food, the service everything was pure perfection! My nephew was already seeing himself getting married there based on their experience.

Maybe the best option to stay in Boksburg. Spacious. Secure. Friendly. Good breakfast. Eclectic style furnishing. Owner is clearly a lover of art and objects. I will stay here again if in Boksburg.

This Establishment surpasses its rating As soon as I arrived for check-in, I was promptly attended to. The receptionists were welcoming and happily provided me with an extra room when I asked for one at the last minute. The atmosphere was calm, sophisticated, tranquil, and welcoming. I was happy to observe that each employee made sure to greet, smile, or ask if I needed anything as they passed by. Throughout my visit, I dined at the restaurant , I couldn't help enjoying the delicious meals that were expertly prepared with a variety of flavors. Just like everything else, the menu did not disappoint in impressing. The lasting impact of the hotel's charm stands out, unlike the many profit-driven factory-style hotels. The convenience of being near the airport, coupled with the range of beautiful garden dinning areas , was a significant benefit. Yet, it would be hard to believe that they were close to an airport since the establishment is so secluded. I will definitely be returning, once given the opportunity again .

The hotel location isn’t the greatest as it’s literally at the end of a cal-da-sec bushy road, at night it’s dark. The property is quite old and dated, not at all the chic, classy aesthetic you see in pictures. Their rooms don’t smell fresh, it’s smells quite stuffy. Their tv only plays Netflix, there’s no iron in the room, you must wait for housekeeping to come in the morning after 8 only, there’s no plug next to the bed to conveniently charge your phone. It’s really NOT worth the money because their rates aren’t exactly cheap. I didn’t have a good experience, I’d never recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful accommodation, loved the decor. I had an incident with the quality of the food the first night I stayed over. However, after informing management, they rectified the matter. The rest of my stay was pleasant. Breakfast - different each day I stayed, nice variety to choose from. Service from staff was great, especially a big THANK YOU to Alice.
