Two stars because it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. Thats about it. It is certainly not a five star hotel, which it purports to be. We arrived around 8pm and advised reception that we needed to leave for the airport at five am. At some point reception advises that the booking was for one person and they had to charge us for the second. I have never heard of this! So for the extra person for our 8 hour stay, they wanted €100! What the hell for? I looked on a booking sight and showed the receptionist that I could still book a room (which would come with a free bottle of wine) for two people for exactly what I paid. Receptionist kept saying that it would be more if i booked through the hotel. Lets follow the logic here. Why would i book directly through the hotel if the same room is less on a booking sight? The most irritating part is that she kept laughing inappropriately for some unknown reason. The male receptionist kept insisting that the € 100 was for the ”free” hot breakfast. We reminded him that we had to leave before breakfast was served. He assured us that there would be a cart full of food in the morning before we left. Long story short, that did not happen. There was a cart with coffee and a few pastries. But wait, there's more! The man at the reception in the morning told us that if we had asked, they would have made us breakfast. That would have been nice if it was ever suggested by reception at check in! A real five star hotel would have just taken the initiative to prepare the bagged breakfast for us given the conversation had the night before. I also enjoyed how the staff talked down to us insisting that a €100 per person euro fee is totally normal. Because I've never stayed in a hotel before! Thats sarcasm btw. Again, this certainly was not a five star experience. And just to compare apples to apples, we stayed at a four star hotel when we arrived in bologna 10 days earlier. It was 1/5 the cost, the staff much more accommodating and was just as comfortable and nice. So do yourself a favor and ignore the alleged five star rating and save your money and nerves by staying anywhere else.

Situato vicino stazione centrale ma c’è bisogno di taxi per arrivarci … dalla stazione ci vogliono circa 7/8 minuti .., hotel molto pulito servizio alle reception veloce cordiale è molto disponibile…. camere molto belle e super tecnologiche pulizia ottima (la mia era la 339) colazione al buffet molto abbondante e tutto molto buono con soluzione diverse per soddisfare tutte le esigenze …. con il taxi con una decina di minuti si raggiunge subito il centro .., lo consiglio vivamente a tutti … aggiungo per concludere qualità del sonno ottima e doccia nel bagno maxxi ….. da provare assolutamente

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte, siamo arrivati la sera tardi e ripartiti la mattina presto per andare in aeroporto. Alla reception personale gentilissimo, sia la sera che la mattina. La camera ottima, climatizzata bene, pulita e silenziosa con frigobar e tutto il necessario per il bagno. Anche la doccia e i sanitari igienizzati e puliti. L’hotel è comodo anche perché vicino alla stazione. Parcheggi liberi ma anche uno custodito dietro l’albergo convenzionato con l’hotel. Insomma tutto positivo!

This is a personal opinion, the hotels location is great, just across the road from the Train station, several bus stops within walking distance and taxi rank just nearby. Overall it didn’t give me that 4 star hotel experience, I found the rooms and bathrooms outdated, the rooms could do with a refurb and better lighting and air system, could be a lot better. The areas I covered or seen are clean, staff are ok-ish except one of the receptionist (Giulia) she was brilliant and she took a request of mine at heart and delivered it as requested.

Really nice experience here. Location is great and their service is super nice. If you want something like kettle, just ask the reception. They will accommodate you promptly.

«+» Good location close to the historic center of Bologna and just a few blocks away from the train station, you can easily walk all around. Nice looking old historic building. Easy and fast check in. Nice and friendly front desk staff. My room was big enough and I felt comfortable there. The bed was soft and comfy. Nicely looking remodeled bathroom. Good quality bathroom amenities. «-» Small and a little slow elevator. Some parts of the room (including some furniture) could be remodeled. Small old TV. Slow Wi-Fi. Air conditioner could work better, it was old.

il personale dell'hotel è stato molto cortese e professionale. mi è stato proposto al mio arrivo un cambio di camera per una di un livello superiore previo pagamento della differenza di tariffa, e io ho accettato volentieri. La camera era molto bella. Unica pecca, non trascurabile visto il livello della stanza, è stato il ritrovamento di un capello lungo nero (non chiaramente di mia proprietà dato che sono rasato nè dell'altra persona ospite) nel lenzuolo del materasso e di una tazzina di caffè utilizzata dall'ospite precedente che era sulla balaustra della terrazza. Per il resto è andato tutto bene.

Booked this hotel as it is close to the train station Bologna Centrale and the city centre. The location is therefore good and set in an interesting mixed area with cheap cafes and bars nearby. There is also a large supermarket close by. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is fairly basic considering the price you are paying for the hotel. It appears that this is mainly a hotel for business clients. However the main drawback is that there is no heating in this hotel as the A/C was switched off centrally, despite the temperature in Bologna going down to 5C at night when I was there. It is therefore cold at night in the room.

We had the pleasure of staying for several nights at Elizabeth Lifestyle Hotel in Bologna. We very much enjoyed our stay and can recommend the hotel highly. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and all of our needs were perfectly addressed. The room was modern, well-designed and comfortable. The breakfasts were generous and provided by kind and professional staff. We would like to make special mention of the lovely evening receptionist, Marta, who was especially attentive, warm and friendly. She went out of her way to assist us, including by finding dinner venues and places to visit in Bologna - all of which were only a short drive from the hotel. Her many kindnesses added to our enjoyment of our visit.

Ho soggiornato presso questa struttura una sola notte ad ottobre, mi trovavo a Bologna per svago. La mia camera era una matrimoniale uso singola. La posizione a mio avviso è ottima. Zona tranquilla ma perfettamente collegata verso il centro dai bus (fermata a 80 metri). Hotel molto bello ed accogliente, camere pulite, moderne, molto confortevoli. Bagno bellissimo, doccia spaziosa e specchiera enorme. Colazione abbastanza varia e buona. Personale gentilissimo, dalla reception, alla sala colazione. Colazione servita dalle 7 alle 10:30 Check out entro le 12!!!! Ho trovato queste 2 cose molto comode! Se dovessi ricapitare a Bologna tornerei senz’altro in questa struttura. Consigliatissimo.

From the very late check, to early morning out of hotel, with great grab & go breakfast, to very friendly and helpful staff, good comfortable rooms. Only 10min to station on bus no25 1.5e each way, 15 to 20min to town centre same cost as upto 70min, buses very frequent. Good quiet location, with great Eurospar a few hundred meters away, rooms cleaned to high standard each day, we were there 9 nights and it was faultless, but the staff make the hotel great as well.

After a tiring search to locate a place to stay in Bologna that was convenient and close to the train station, we were lucky to find this gem that was a 10 minute walk to the train and about a 20 minute walk to the center. Alessandro was great in welcoming us after a 10 hour flight from the US and showed us to our spacious and comfortable room. The next morning Alessandro had an array of breakfast items ready for us in the kitchen room next door. This is was perfect stay in a quiet neighborhood away from the boisterous historic center. I would stay here again if I was in Bologna!
