There were mites in the bed in the room and it was a terrible experience. I could hardly sleep during my stay, and after waking up in the middle of the night on the second day, I couldn't use the hotel bed.
My whole body started itching from the second day, and I started feeling unwell from the third day. The hotel made it difficult for me to enjoy my trip, and it was the worst.
I asked the hotel front desk for an anti-itch cream, but they didn't even have any medicine and told me to go to an outside pharmacy (DMALL) to buy it myself.
What's even worse is the hotel's response. After checking out, I told the hotel the truth with photos, but they were clearly running away and didn't even reply with an apology. When they finally replied, they said, "We don't have your report in our hotel records. You made a reservation with a non-refundable reservation plan, so we can't refund you at all," desperately trying to avoid responsibility. I wondered why they couldn't apologize satisfactorily for causing trouble to guests with the hotel's unsanitary problems. As expected, it was a first-class hotel chain in Boracay, but a third-class hotel chain on a global level.
