My experience was not great. I had booked this hotel because of the location and they advertised AC in the room. My wife and I arrived at 3 PM on Saturday. Checked in and was given the room key. When we got to the room, it seemed a bit hot and we turned on the AC. We left around 30 minutes later to enjoy our time in this beautiful city. We got back to the hotel about 11 PM to shower and relax. The room was still hot, keep in mind, there is a heat wave happening the week of June 25. I went to ask the night clerk why the room is so hot and I'm told the AC is broken, that's why there is a fan. I was under the impression, the AC was broken for the entire hotel. No apology or explanation why we were not told of the AC problem or given the opportunity to find a different hotel. I emailed Trip.com whom I booked with and was told they would look into it. After a sleepless night, we went down to see the morning clerk and was told it was only our room that had a broken AC, and now they have another room for us. I again contacted Trip.com who said they understood my concerns and would take care of it. I was eventually offered 20 euro in trip coins and a free breakfast to include Coffee and toast. How's that for a slap in the face. I am now in the process of contacting my CC company for at least a partial refund. Lastly, the rooms are old with towel bars loose from the wall and just not a well maintained hotel. There were some bright spots, and some of the staff were nice. But overall I would rate our experience a D+.
