Wonderfully modern apartment with a huge lounge/dining area and a separate bedroom/bathroom. Our apartment was on the ground floor of an old slate building a short walk from the centre of Bowness. Comfortable bed, good shower, really soft sofa and a decent sized TV, free wifi, a fully fitted kitchen, although we didnt use it due to many nearby restaurants. Lots of space and above all - a guaranteed parking spot, which is an absolute necessity in Bowness. Only thing missing was blackout curtains in the bedroom - the blinds didnt quite keep the early morning light out. Very comfortable throughout though, would happily return.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and welcomed. We had drinks in the lounge area and veranda enjoying the spectacular views. The staff were all dressed smartly, and I got the impression they all loved working there. I had booked for my wife’s birthday and had also booked a table in the Henrock restaurant inside the hotel. The food was amazing, delicious and perfectly presented and served. Each delicious course was the lead up to the most amazing dessert I have ever eaten, and it was a rhubarb based dessert, which under normal circumstances is a contradiction where desserts are concerned normally, however this was an explosion of delicious tastes and textures. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and we both hope to return, sooner rather than later.

環境很棒綠樹環繞，餐廳也有自己的小花園，衹是我們選擇的房型，房間確實比較小，行李都要手提上樓,怪我們行李太多了。房間確實比較陳舊了，傢具看得出年代感，鄉村度假屋的感覺。廁所也十分迷你，熱水不太熱，開到最大也就是溫溫的。窗戶柜子就一切都比較老了，但床很舒適，就是個睡覺的地方。早餐很不錯，品嘗了獲獎的全餐，還是太多肉了，但水果bar很全很棒，推薦。這裏的接待和服務有些老爺爺老奶奶，十分親切和善。而且地理位置非常好，步行3分鐘就到郵輪碼頭，性價比很高的酒店。

Had a great stay at the Ro Hotel. It's in a beautiful setting and the breakfast we had both mornings was nice. Very very busy after 9am. Our room was disappointing as it had an awful smell of drains and was in need of an update. I had read this on other reviews so the hotel are aware of it. We did mention to Reception once arriving in the room, but the hotel was fully booked so nothing they could do. Just a shame to still be charged £10 to park the car in a car park that is absolutely packed with no spaces. We paid a lot to stay over for two nights, so I think this charge is unnecessary. I've given this a 5 star review because of Lynn on Reception who is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to post my charging station back to me after leaving it in the room. Thank you so much for everything you did Lynn, it was much appreciated and you really are an asset to the hotel. 🌟 x

However .... electricity charges are h my opinion. I was charged £156.48 for 6 days occupancy. I was careful to follow all advice given re turning down temp to 16 degrees when going out. Used the dishwasher once. I heard others complain about these charges. Unit charges were pointed out to me when arrived, doesn't mean much when you have no idea how much electricity is in a unit. I was also given the initial reading but there was no access to the meter to check. I really was taken aback with this charge. I have dual fuel at home , the amount above is 3 times what I pay at home for fuel.
