LlymaWe had multiple issues with our 7 nights stay. Which some has been addressed and fixed immediately. One thing we do recommend to confirm check upon arrival or when booking.
Lack of view - we’ve booked the 1 bedroom premium room. From the pictures it looked like floor to ceiling big windows with open view but we were assigned to a room situated in the heritage floors (2nd) which the windows are 1.5m high so have to tippy toes to see the view. Limited sunlight also, bathroom has no window.
Issues we encountered
1) hall way light - wasn’t working on the first night when we checked in at 11pm. We couldn’t even find our room number cause it was so dark, we used the torch on our phone. Wasn’t a nice first impression if you are scared of dark hallways. The sensor was fixed the next day.
2) phone wasn’t working - so we couldn’t contact the front desk. We got in late with a toddler, so we put on ‘do not disturb’ sign but someone banged the door at 8am, to reach us to ‘fix the issues’. Not sure why can’t they just slip us a note under the door.
3) so many flies - the breakfast restaurant have serious pest issues. There were more than 10 flies flying around the buffet and the tables. We didn’t feel comfortable eating there after one visit. The whole duration of the meal, we were waiving off the fly. Major hygiene concern!
4) housekeeping was very average, barely cleaned the room daily. Only made the bed.
5) overall the staff were all friendly, special appreciation to the male staff at the breakfast room. The lady duty manager didn’t seem friendly, carries an attitude and likes to talk over you.
Location is great, round the corner from the tram line.
Will I stay again, most likely not. Feels more like a 4 star hotel, definitely not 5 star.

Walking distance to T4. Very reliable shuttle to other terminals.
Only that upon arrival at check-in, the only staff at reception seems to prefer us to use the self check-in machine than assisting us directly. A warm smile would have made it more pleasant.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay was fine. Staff polite. Food on site was ok. Wanted to store our luggage before able to check in but the area available had a shutter door which didn’t lock.
Some rooms over look boarding kennels. Nothing in the area apart from URBNSURF great place to have food and watch the surfing. Three little Ducks food excellent definitely recommend here .

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at house 13 on March 10 2025, and there a gang of black people having a party over the night at house 12. I don't want to discrimate people and I used the word ”black” merely to describe that group of people that night. The music is very loud, and from time to time there are heavy drum beats which you can feel the vibration from the floor, and sometimes they knocked the wall of the townhouse separating house 13 / 12, and I supposed no one can sleep under this situation. Both my wife and me could not sleep but scared because they are young & strong black males. Finally we turned on the light at 2 a.m. and open the curtain to tell them to quiet from our 1/F balcony when 3 of them were arguing with a woman loudly in the common backyard. They ignored and continued!
At 5 p.m. it's raining but I could not tolerate anymore, I went out to tell them silence please! A big tall black guy (not brown, very black) said ” I got you!”.
Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scare., but what elase I could do?!
When the reception open next day (house 1?), I complained and requested a change of room (actually house). The reception ladies are very friendly and they said they had reported the police twice that night for the noise is too loud & affecting many customers staying at different houses that night. But they do the same regardless the police warning. According to the reception, she had blacklisted this customer from booking the Quest hotel chain nationalwide (Australia) anymore. When I returned to the hotel the other day, I got a thank you card apologize for what had happened together with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused.
Although I had a nightmare in this hotel, I think it is a one-off incident, and I will still recomend this service apartment.

AAnderson4506The place next to sea side actually good location, but the area is not the best one, it may get creepy in the night, showering facfilities need improvemnt, wifi good and working, I would not repeat this place unless I have to, but not bad place at all, good people and helpful people it is just for me

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable.
Cleanliness:
This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible.
Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief.
Service:
The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously.
Facilities:
Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family.
Room:
The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep.
Overall:
While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.

PPengguna Tetamu我續房的時候，稀裏糊塗定了一周以後的周五到周六房間，還自信滿滿選擇了不可撤銷訂單……結果到前台續房時才發現自己犯了錯，幸虧前台的帥哥和小美女各處打電話，又在電腦裏面搗鼓了好久，終於幫我修改好了訂單，特別特別感謝他們，太暖心了…..另外，做衛生的帥哥美女也都超級美膩！

Заехали в номер и грязь на всех поверхностях, такое ощущение, что уборки не было уже очень-очень давно, даже минимальной.
Завтрак есть, но очень слабый.
Парковка на территории присутствует, действительно без доплаты
Отличное расположение, до центра города пешком около 15 мин через красивый район и парк.
До Ботанического сада пешком 30 мин

The rooms were clean but the balconies was in a terrible condition I don’t think it was ever cleaned and one of the balcony had bread crumbs like someone trying to feed the birds . The lift in that hotel stopped working as we were on there and we were in 7th floor, I visited with my parents who are old and had a joint problem it was really hard to climb all those stairs but they did not fixed that as it was weekend it was like that until we left the hotel on Sunday the lift stopped working on Saturday morning . It was hard to carry all those luggage downstairs.
