"It was a very pleasant and cozy hotel. The check-in is at the bar around the corner. The shared bathroom is used by 3 rooms on the floor which is not too bad. The location is great as well - close to the train station and about 1 km from the city centre and the area around the hotel is very nice and clean as well. Would definitely stay here again"

"La cama era comodísima, descansamos súper bien. La habitación y el baño estaban limpios y tenían buen tamaño. La ubicación también es genial, a unos minutos caminando de todo lo que hay que ver. PPengguna TetamuWe had a room in the courtyard. Room was lovely, separate toilet from the bathroom which was great. The only down side was the depth of the bath very uneasy to get into for a shower. Also the shower screen didn't come completely down to the bath so water was going everywhere. We had breakfast in the main hotel, which was great. Had great selection, from eggs, bacon etc. Cheeses, meats, an array of different breads and selection of little cakes etc. Even had Belgium chocolate 🍫 😋 all the staff were extremely nice and helpful. 1st class hotel, would definitely recommend it

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel itself is stunning, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. However, the room had a couple of minor issues. The shower head wouldn’t stay centered, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. Additionally, the hair dryer malfunctioned, turning on and off randomly. Since I was only staying one night, I didn’t request a room change, but it was inconvenient. Despite these issues, I would stay here again because the main hotel facilities and staff were excellent.

PPengguna TetamuA great find - this super-clean and modern hotel was perfect for an overnight stop. Rooms were very clean with everything needed in case you’d forgotten your bathroom bits.
Lovely restaurant with superb breakfast. Good choice for evening snacks or dinner too. Located just on the outskirts of Bruges it’s a 3km walk into the main square, perfect for us. Lovely lady on reception was so kind and helpful, making check-in so easy. Surrounded by a field of sheep one side and cute little pathway the other, a real little gem. Highly recommend.
One mention is the room windows are terrifyingly dangerous and the pillows aren’t the best!

Nice location - near the center of Bruges but at the same time quiet and right next to the canal and bus stop.
Lobby, halls and stairs areas look just gorgeous! Cool old furniture, paintings, statues etc. The stairs themselves are wooden and beatifully made.
My room (number 2) had tall ceilings and huge windows facing the canal. Only wish it would have been on one of the upper floors. Same thing with old-style furniture in the room - that was nice and beatiful. But the old and worn power outlets were not that nice. Also, the fridge in the room was a joke - it sorta worked but didn't keep stuff in it cold, couldn't even handle a couple of beers.
The bed was very comfortable and I've slept like a baby.
The lobby zone was very nice to hang, really enjoyed having a beer in the evening, sitting there in one of the sofas.
The breakfast was okay, not very diverse, but everything was tasty and fresh. A bit missed the porridge though.
Overall, it was good experience, I've enjoyed my stay!

NNeilJHotel Portinari in Bruges is a gem! The modern design is both stylish and inviting, creating a lovely atmosphere. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, making it a perfect retreat. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city’s main attractions. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bruges!

PPengguna TetamuFriendly staff, lovely hotel, buffet breakfast was good value and convenient. Location was spot on and the family room was cosy, clean and had loads of space. Nuts from mini bar were cheaper than in the supermarket which we couldn’t believe. Only downside was the shower head wouldn’t stay in the holder so we had to hold it to shower which was a shame. Overall we would return if we came back to Bruges.

PPengguna TetamuThe facilities were good; I liked the curtain over the bed for added privacy, and the storage space under the bed. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The only downsides were the lack of an elevator and the absence of shampoo and soap, although I always bring my own just in case.
