Hotel is within a small resort that is newly opened. Amenities are complete and restaurants and other F&B are available within the resort. Only inconvenience is that cars are not allowed into the resort so we have to trek to the gate to call for a ride.

We really enjoyed our stay here a lot. The staff were very helpful and friendly in helping to make it an enjoyable stay. It guest laundry room is really busy in the evening, if you are in a rush can just consider washing it and hanging it up in the room. The climate is very dry and the wet clothes help to maintain humidity in the room. Most of the clothes dried by the next morning. Location was about 10 minutes drive to the 二道白河镇。other than the location, everything else was great and the hotel is new. Also special thanks to 丁相龙 who have agreed to convert my HSR pick up to sending us there at 5am in the morning. We are truly thankful for the gesture and the extra mile taken.

Montchill in Changbai Mountain is an absolute gem and easily one of the best stays in the area. The surroundings are breathtaking, with beautiful mountain views and a peaceful, cozy atmosphere that feels like a true retreat. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and extremely comfortable, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. What truly stands out is the warm and thoughtful service—every detail feels well taken care of, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Whether it’s enjoying the scenery, resting in the calm environment, or simply slowing down to enjoy nature, Montchill delivers an unforgettable experience. Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

I like the service at the hotel. We went to the hot spring and the staffs were really friendly and helpful . The male elderly staff sent me proper shoes and gave me towel when I wanted to move to the outdoor pool. We could communicate via WeChat with the front desk and that helped us quite a fair bit when our shower was at too high a temperature. The front desk staff has also given us some useful advice. The loft bed may be a challenge for elderly as the steps to the loft bed are a bit high.

The room is new, clean, and has no cigarette smell. Luggage storage is available. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Zhongyang Street, near a famous ice cream shop and a tasty mala sausage stall. The area at the end of Zhongyang Street is beautiful and less crowded. I would stay here again.

The staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory. If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff. Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The location is perfect for travelers who need easy access to Changbaishan Railway Station, and the park right across the street provides a lovely place for a relaxing stroll. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the outstanding service I received from the moment I checked in. Chen Yuanyuan (陈园园), the hotel staff, was an absolute delight. She is always smiling, polite, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beginning, she warmly escorted us to our room and took the time to explain all the hotel amenities in detail. Her thoughtfulness did not stop there. She proactively connected with me on WeChat to ensure quick responses to any requests we had. The next morning, she personally reminded us about breakfast and even offered to come to our room to guide us to the restaurant. Her dedication was evident as she stayed until we were seated comfortably in the buffet area. Even after checkout, her exceptional service continued. She presented us with lovely hotel gifts and waited with us until our taxi arrived, ensuring a smooth departure. Chen Yuanyuan’s service attitude is truly commendable. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism set a high standard for hospitality. She is undoubtedly a role model for her peers and a huge asset to the hotel. This experience reinforced my belief that service in China is truly excellent, and it’s because of staff like her that I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Changbaishan in a different season. ทริปนี้เดินทางมาช่วงปลายธันวาคม เจ้าของโรงแรมจะทักมาผ่านทริปเพื่อมารับเราที่สถานีไปห้องพักเลย(ฟรี) - ห้องพักสะอาดมีน้ำอุ่นให้ มีกลิ่นบุหรี่นิดหน่อยแต่เปิดกระจกระบายอากาศก็หายแล้ว วิวของห้องพักติดกับแม่น้ำเลยค่อนข้างสวย - ในส่วนของการบริการอาหารที่นี่มีแม่ครัวที่ทำอาหารอร่อยมาก ถ้ามาสามารถลองสั่งเมนูไก่ตุ๋นเห็ดมาลองทานกันได้ มีรสชาติหวาน มัน มีกลิ่นสมุนไพร แต่ไม่เลี่ยน รวมไปถึงที่พักมีคาเฟ่ชานมสำหรับคนที่อยากดื่มด้วยเช่นกัน - ในด้านของการบริการ ที่นี่บริการดีมากกกก เราสามารถปล่อยสมองมาแล้วให้เจ้าของโรงแรมช่วยเลือกให้ได้เลยว่าจะไปกิจกรรมไหนดี จะมีรถไปรับไปส่ง โดยส่วนมากใช้เวลาไม่นาน(ถ้าไม่ได้ไปเทียนฉี เพราะโรงแรมค่อนข้างอยู่ใกล้พื้นที่กิจกรรมเลย) - กิจกรรมที่โรงแรมพาไป 1) ชมกวาง - เดินไปจากรรเลย ใกล้ๆมีน้องกวางอยู่สองตัวน่ารักมากกก 2) ล่องแก่ง - วิวสวยยย แถมตอนถึงปลายน้ำมาลงตรงบริเวณโรงแรมพอดีเล่นเสร็จขึ้นโรงแรมได้เลย 3) เล่นสกี - ทางโรงแรมมีอุปกรณ์พื้นฐานให้ทำให้ไม่ต้องเช่าเพิ่มเยอะ(เช่นเสื้อ กางเกงกันลม ตุ๊กตาเต่าที่ใช้เป็นเซฟตี้น่ารักมากกก) 4) ตกปลา - ที่ลานกิจกรรมมีคุณลุงมาคอยสอนวิธี ตกปลา ตกมาได้เกิน10ตัวเลย หลังจากตกเสร็จสามารถนำมาย่างกิน เค้าจะโรยผงอะไรไม่รู้แต่อร่อยมาก อร่อยจนแสงออกปาก ต้องลอง ที่ลานกิจกรรมจะมีพวกหม้อชาบู หม้อกะทะร้อนขายอยู่ด้วย 5) คาเฟ่ร้านชา - ร้านชามีขนมเป็นเซต ส่วนชามีทั้งแบบชานม และชาจีนร้อน อันนี้ก็อร่อยมากเหมือนกันอยากให้ลองมาทาน พนักงานที่นี่ดูแลดีมากๆๆ มาเที่ยวกันเยอะๆนะ ใครมาแถวฮาบินลองแวะมาฉางไป๋ซานดูได้ ราคาไม่แพงเลย กิจกรรมแน่น

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.
