Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

The room is spacious and perfect for a group of three. The staff provided airport pick-up service and kindly helped us carry our luggage to the room. Although the elevator only goes up to the second floor, we only needed to walk up about 20 steps of stairs, which was manageable. The room was quiet and very clean. The hotel also provided a bucket of fresh fruit during our stay, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. In addition, the hotel staff offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off services at the train station, which made our stay even more convenient.

Highly recommended. Spacious and very clean rooms, with an exceptionally warm and welcoming owner. The overall vibe is amazing—you can really feel the care and effort put into this guesthouse. Nightly fireworks with complimentary sparklers create a wholesome, memorable experience. Great coffee (slightly pricey but worth it) and a complimentary savoury breakfast. Note: food delivery takes about 60–65 minutes, though there are many 24-hour food options and massage parlours within 1km. They also provide you with some small craft art, and a small gift when you check out! Booking comes with free breakfast & a warm nice dessert soup! Appreciate the kind thoughts of the owner. Experience it yourself, won’t regret booking them.

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

A Truly Memorable Stay at Changbai Mountain Guanyue Folk Custom Hotel 🏨 I traveled all the way from Thailand, and my experience at Changbai Mountain—specifically at the Changbai Mountain Guanyue Folk Custom Hotel—was absolutely unforgettable. Exceptional Service from the Start From the moment I made my reservation, a staff member named Annie provided incredible hospitality. She was enthusiastic and proactive, offering detailed advice on local attractions and how to navigate Changbai Mountain. The seamless service began the moment I arrived at the train station. The hotel provided a pickup service, and the staff greeted me warmly before escorting me directly to the hotel. Personalized Care and Communication Upon arrival, Annie was there to welcome me. She gave me expert advice on how to visit the national park and remained available to assist me throughout my entire stay. If you are worried about the language barrier, don't be! We communicated easily via WeChat and translation apps. She truly looked after me until the very moment I boarded the shuttle back to the train station. Excellence in Every Detail In terms of cleanliness, service, and food, I give this hotel a perfect score of 1,000,000/1,000,000. Everything was flawless.

Staying at this homestay during winter felt like stepping into a cozy movie scene! The snow-covered surroundings were magical, and the warmth of the place made it unforgettable. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had the most enjoyable time, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect winter getaway Recommend anyone to stay for this homestay !!

A nice boutique hotel. Staffs service fantastic. They are very helpful, nice and informative. The lady boss was very good. Very helpful and obliging and gone out of her way to ensure I stayed comfortable she even gave me a lift and other guests to the HS train station when I was leaving the hotel. They even upgraded my room. Cleaning service by the hotel staffs was very good too. Clean and pleasant. Location ie hotel not far away from HS train station also reachable by bus road 1 and 3. Town erdao baihe was a short ride by taxi CNY15-12 or bus road 1 and 3. Changbai Shan entrance was also reachable by bus road 1 sit right to the end of the station and vice versa to HS train station (bus fare only CNY1.00). Overall a pleasant stay.

The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel. Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel. Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts. Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!! Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen. Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea. In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb! I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too! The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team! They gave us more than we could ever imagined from services to food to hospitality. Thank you for giving us an amazing and memorable stay! Overall it was a great and enjoyable stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend everyone to visit them and feel their positive energy. Certainly can't wait for our next visit to Chang Bai Shan again!!!

ทริปนี้เดินทางมาช่วงปลายธันวาคม เจ้าของโรงแรมจะทักมาผ่านทริปเพื่อมารับเราที่สถานีไปห้องพักเลย(ฟรี) - ห้องพักสะอาดมีน้ำอุ่นให้ มีกลิ่นบุหรี่นิดหน่อยแต่เปิดกระจกระบายอากาศก็หายแล้ว วิวของห้องพักติดกับแม่น้ำเลยค่อนข้างสวย - ในส่วนของการบริการอาหารที่นี่มีแม่ครัวที่ทำอาหารอร่อยมาก ถ้ามาสามารถลองสั่งเมนูไก่ตุ๋นเห็ดมาลองทานกันได้ มีรสชาติหวาน มัน มีกลิ่นสมุนไพร แต่ไม่เลี่ยน รวมไปถึงที่พักมีคาเฟ่ชานมสำหรับคนที่อยากดื่มด้วยเช่นกัน - ในด้านของการบริการ ที่นี่บริการดีมากกกก เราสามารถปล่อยสมองมาแล้วให้เจ้าของโรงแรมช่วยเลือกให้ได้เลยว่าจะไปกิจกรรมไหนดี จะมีรถไปรับไปส่ง โดยส่วนมากใช้เวลาไม่นาน(ถ้าไม่ได้ไปเทียนฉี เพราะโรงแรมค่อนข้างอยู่ใกล้พื้นที่กิจกรรมเลย) - กิจกรรมที่โรงแรมพาไป 1) ชมกวาง - เดินไปจากรรเลย ใกล้ๆมีน้องกวางอยู่สองตัวน่ารักมากกก 2) ล่องแก่ง - วิวสวยยย แถมตอนถึงปลายน้ำมาลงตรงบริเวณโรงแรมพอดีเล่นเสร็จขึ้นโรงแรมได้เลย 3) เล่นสกี - ทางโรงแรมมีอุปกรณ์พื้นฐานให้ทำให้ไม่ต้องเช่าเพิ่มเยอะ(เช่นเสื้อ กางเกงกันลม ตุ๊กตาเต่าที่ใช้เป็นเซฟตี้น่ารักมากกก) 4) ตกปลา - ที่ลานกิจกรรมมีคุณลุงมาคอยสอนวิธี ตกปลา ตกมาได้เกิน10ตัวเลย หลังจากตกเสร็จสามารถนำมาย่างกิน เค้าจะโรยผงอะไรไม่รู้แต่อร่อยมาก อร่อยจนแสงออกปาก ต้องลอง ที่ลานกิจกรรมจะมีพวกหม้อชาบู หม้อกะทะร้อนขายอยู่ด้วย 5) คาเฟ่ร้านชา - ร้านชามีขนมเป็นเซต ส่วนชามีทั้งแบบชานม และชาจีนร้อน อันนี้ก็อร่อยมากเหมือนกันอยากให้ลองมาทาน พนักงานที่นี่ดูแลดีมากๆๆ มาเที่ยวกันเยอะๆนะ ใครมาแถวฮาบินลองแวะมาฉางไป๋ซานดูได้ ราคาไม่แพงเลย กิจกรรมแน่น
