The Travelodge Dundee Central Hotel was recently opened in 2025, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Dundee. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 900m from Dundee Station and 5km from Dundee Airport. This hotel is located near many of Dundee's attractions including Dundee Al Maktoum Mosque, Dundee Waterfront Gardens and Caird Hall. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.
"The Hotel was satisfactory accommodation, the bathroom was clean and tidy, room was very spacious and beds were large and made well. For the price the room was very satisfactory and the only few issues we had is the walls had been repainted a bit shoddy in places and there wasnt a hairdryer, although there was a fan which was a nice suprise."

PPengguna TetamuWhile the staff were lovely and friendly, Trip had not let them know that we’d being splitting a group of 5 between two rooms so would need the sofa bed made up in one room. However, the staff quickly provided us with the sheets and pillows needed.
The rooms were clean and tidy, although the bathrooms were in need of a spruce up, with the floor tiles in both needing fixing (chipped tile in one and a sunken tile in the other). Also, there were no sockets near the bed for charging phones etc. a bit of an oversight in room design.
However, these are all minor niggles. Overall we had a nice stay.

PPengguna TetamuExcellent hotel in prime central location with views of the river Tay and both bridges. Staff very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast in the beefeater was great value for money. Room clean and warm with everything you would expect.

PPengguna TetamuI know this is a budget hotel but there is a lot more effort needed. There should never be mould showing around bath seals etc. It’s an easy fix. General cleanliness poor. We had to clean areas ourselves even after being transferred to another room after complaining first room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff in general friendly and helpful. Bins outside hotel full to the brim. I have a feeling staff don’t really care to much about how hotel looks. Anyway did the job for a few nights stay. But if I had the choice I would pay extra for a better room elsewhere and hopefully cleaner.
