"Rooms are lovely. However when I stayed, 2 Chinese men came into my room whilst I was in the shower. Receptionist didn't seem to care. Now I have written my review on Google, the owner has called me a liar about it. First they said I never stayed there, then they found my name from few years ago and stated how they didn't believe me. I will be making sure this review isn't pushed aside and I will not stand being called a liar when I'm not."

"I know this is a budget hotel but there is a lot more effort needed. There should never be mould showing around bath seals etc. It’s an easy fix. General cleanliness poor. We had to clean areas ourselves even after being transferred to another room after complaining first room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff in general friendly and helpful. Bins outside hotel full to the brim. I have a feeling staff don’t really care to much about how hotel looks. Anyway did the job for a few nights stay. But if I had the choice I would pay extra for a better room elsewhere and hopefully cleaner."

"Location is fine, brisk 5 or gentle 10 minute walk to the train station. With a gym next door, you can buy a day pass for £9. It's a travel lodge, rooms fine, you know what you are getting. Staff were all very friendly, lady checked me in good 30 minutes before 3pm. Only moan is prior to 2pm looks like no staff on duty, so if you wanted to check in early you can't. Will definitely use it again when I'm next in Dundee."

"Room was very small, but clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast very nice & staff very friendly. Only couple of snags. There was a noise in the room all night. Could have been from the boiler, or air conditioner system. Also got woken at 5.55am, by Fisher company, whose lorry was parked directly below our window, either delivering or collecting laundry."

"The hideaway experience was exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, 5 star facilities and great staff. My husband and I spent my birthday relaxing. The accommodation is very well thought out, when we arrived it was warm and welcoming. Staff were available if we needed anything but gave us space so we could enjoy our privacy. It certainly felt like a hideaway and we will definitely be returning again. Would highly recommend it for a relaxing romantic break. Thank you so much!"
