Menakjubkan
PPengguna TetamuWonderful sea view from rooms, hospitable service, great spring
Evening is perfect except the dinner is a little overpriced. Don’t think it’s up to a Michelin one star standard any more.
PPengguna TetamuI stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.
PPengguna TetamuLow-key loved this hotel! The location is super convenient—literally right next to JR Hakodate Station, so getting around the city and visiting the main attractions is really easy.
The staff were super nice and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. The room was clean and comfy. There’s also an onsen and sauna, which was perfect to chill in after a long day of walking around.
You can also grab free amenities in the lobby, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was honestly so good and unlimited. There were fresh sashimi, salad, fried chicken, fish, pancakes, croissants, and the super tasty Hokkaido milk ice cream. And a lot more—just look at the photos!
Overall, great vibe, great stay. Would totally come back again. 🫶
PPia alitRoom are spacious and clean, location are strategic, but service are really bad. I cant keep my luggage before my check in time, so i have to carry my heavy luggage with me for all day, and staffs here aren’t friendly at all, also they charge ¥5,000 for late check out even just for 5minutes. I stay in many hotel with higher and cheaper price but this place was really disappointing.
All the things in this hotel are perfect, but i think they have to educate the staffs and other services.
JJesscacaAbout 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone.
Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable.
Other than these, overall is satisfied.
PPengguna TetamuI absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious.
The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world.
The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.
SSaSaleishaThis is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient.
But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay several reasons:
1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered
2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay
3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners.
I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise.
PPengguna TetamuThe view from hotel room and rooftop are nice. But the hotel does need some upgrades. The room and Hot Springs facilities are kind of old. Although overall my two nights stay were comfortable. Room is clean, Breakfast is good. Free reman at night is nice. Convenient location, next to the Bay Area. It’s about 10-15 min walk from Hakodate Train station. Taxi ride is about ¥700.
