Hotel Kathmandu dengan Sarapan

This hotel is an experience on its own! If you want to live in ancient like place with clay bricks and wood carvings.. this is the place! Food is very delicious! And of course friendly and helpful staff. But note that there is no AC, no amenities besides soap and toilet paper. This is part of eco conception of this hotel.

Absolutely in love with the hotel. From checking in to checking out, we were attended by really great staff. We were first greeted with a scarf/shawl/cloth and given a welcome drink. Luggage was send to the room for us and breakfast was really good!! They prepared a birthday and anniversary celebration for us too! We had such a great time. Room was really clean and spacious! View from room was good too! Spa wasn’t great, not worth the price but I Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

If you're staying in Kathmandu, this hotel is a good choice. The best thing about it is that it's a new hotel (opening in 2024). Everyone, including the staff, spa staff, and breakfast staff, is very cooperative. Also, everything is well-maintained, including the showers and toilets in the rooms, Wi-Fi, electronic key cards, and internet TV. I'm sorry to say that other hotels tend to be a little older, with broken, slightly dirty, or non-working electronic devices. While it's true that older hotels have gardens and great locations, they can't compare to newer facilities. The breakfast had a nice view, too. 私は海外在住の日本人です。お子様連れの方には静かで落ち着いてるこのホテルを薦めます。もちろん一人旅も。

Everything was very good. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant was very good. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. The only downside — and I’m sorry to say this — is the nightclub next door, which made it difficult for me to sleep. Every night, the music went on from the evening until five in the morning. The hotel management should consider taking action regarding the nightclub, as it significantly affects guests’ ability to rest.

Hotel Lo Mustang is located in Thamel And its unique selling point has to be its location as it is very close to all of the shops bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the WiFi is very strong

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

I stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

In the heart of Thamel, little oasis in the chaos of Thamel. Cable TV, large comfortable rooms and bed. A total pleasure to stay there. There's bars around that are a little noisy but by midnight it usually stops . They have earplugs if your sensitive to sound. Well worth the money to stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at Funky Monkey Hostel Hotel Apartment in Thamel, Kathmandu. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Thamel, making it very convenient to explore nearby restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, and nightlife. Despite being in such a lively area, the accommodation offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were one of the best parts of my stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and provided great suggestions for sightseeing, transportation, and activities around Kathmandu. The rooms and common areas were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hostel has a friendly and social environment, making it easy to meet other travelers while still having enough space to relax. The facilities were convenient, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the great value for money. Whether you are traveling solo, with friends, as a couple, or with family, Funky Monkey is a fantastic choice for staying in Thamel. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Funky Monkey Hostel Hotel Apartment to anyone visiting Kathmandu!
