I booked this hotel relatively last minute due to an impromptu Bangkok trip, and found the hotel location really convenient for my needs. Initially I thought the tuktuk images on the wall were too elaborated for my personal liking after seeing photos, but in reality it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The stay was really pleasant and there is a daily change of drinks at the lift lobby for guests?? Really thoughtful when the weather outside is sweltering. My mother did not like that there isn't much street food as the Pratunam area which she is used to, but she thought the stay was really comfortable. She showed the room to her sister (who was supposed to come with us but didn't), and my aunt became envious. The room was spacious too! It's located near to Khlong Toei Market, and there is a few 7 Eleven stores around. Boba can also be found nearby for those who love their boba tea haha! Based on Google maps, I'd initially thought that the MRT station is a short walk away from the hotel... But eventually I realised one of the entrance is right outside!!!! My mother also praised the convenience of this hotel. Though I encountered a baby cockroach in the room trying to get to my food on the last night (which I suspected might have came with/was attracted by my GrabFood order?!), it wasn't too much of a big deal knowing it's Thailand... I've seen worse elsewhere from my regular visits. The corners of the room are all cleaned and without a speck of dust (I checked). Would I come back here again? YES YES YES!!!! Also shoutout to all the helpful staff during our stay though I didn't get their names. The receptionist was really nice when my mother needed to exchange for smaller notes because she could only get big notes from our local money changer.

The hotel is conveniently located near Ramkhamhaeng (A5) Station on Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link. Although it is about 2 km from the station, transportation is still very convenient. Guests can use the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service, take a tuk-tuk, or use a motorcycle taxi to reach the station. During Bangkok’s heavy traffic, taking the Airport Rail Link and then transferring to the BTS Skytrain or MRT is often much faster and more convenient than traveling by car. The hotel is newly opened, and the overall design is modern and attractive. It is a high-rise building with beautiful views, and both the guest rooms and public areas look stylish and new. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with shopping malls, restaurants, and supermarkets such as Big C within easy reach. However, I feel that the hotel is currently focusing more on expanding its business than on maintaining service quality. The hardware is impressive, but the housekeeping and overall management still need significant improvement. From the very first day of my stay, I noticed fingerprints and stains on the windows that had not been cleaned. There was also hair, dust, and dirt under the desk, around the bed, on the bed sheets, and in the bathroom. I requested housekeeping to clean the room more thoroughly, but unfortunately the same problems remained even after the room had been serviced. It seemed that my feedback was not taken seriously, which was disappointing and affected my overall experience. I believe this hotel has great potential because of its excellent location, modern facilities, and competitive pricing. However, a good hotel needs more than just beautiful hardware. The quality of housekeeping, staff training, attention to detail, and guest service should improve to match the excellent facilities.

The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure. Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning. I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

This was my first time staying in this area, as I usually stay around Phetchaburi whenever I visit Bangkok. I decided to try something different this trip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is apartment-style and comes fully equipped with a kitchen, making it ideal for families or longer stays. Our unit had two bedrooms — one with a king-sized bed and another with two single beds. It also came with three bathrooms, which was a huge plus as everyone could get ready comfortably without having to wait. The location is very convenient, with a shopping mall within walking distance and a 7-Eleven located just below the hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We were pleasantly surprised to find beautiful origami creations left on our beds, which added a thoughtful and personal touch to our stay. The only downside was that the TV’s Wi-Fi connection was a little unstable. When connecting to YouTube, the videos tended to buffer and lag frequently. Overall, a comfortable and spacious stay with an excellent location and warm hospitality. I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

it was an AWESOME STAY but location is a little hard to find at first. overall place was clean and people were friendly! toilet was CLEAAAAN. there is also a communal hairdryer it works pretty well. at night there is a fish auction i think. therefore, walking to 711 at 3am is pretty safe. personally as there is more people there late at night i feel it is safer. it is located beside the fish market so if you're sensitive to smells it might not be suited for you. there is also an ATM nearby. The BTS and pier is also near the hostel therefore transportation is prettty solid. lots of common areas to do your work! rooms are pretty soundproof as well! i did NOT encounter much mosquitos surprisingly! i had a mosquito bite like 5 times throughout my stay. i did not wear insect repellent at all! able to put your own food in the common fridge. shoe locker is also provided! there is also a locker to put all your stuff. there is luggage space but it is in the common area and the door is easily accessible. please do buy a lock for your luggage bedding is GOOD, mattress is GOOD, pillow can get uncomfortable though, not much neck support. a really good seafood buffet located beside the hostel! overall, i would DEFINITELY COME BACK! loved my stay there. if you're not bothered by fish smells this is probably the place for you!

The location is ok but nearby not much things to do. Nearest mall is around 15 min by foot and seem localised with super markets, home pro etc. Good for business people but not good for leisure traveler. Huai Kwang mrt exit 2 is a 3-5 min walk. However if raining, good game. Regarding the room, if possible, do a flush first to check if your toilet has choke. My toilet choke on my last night and the hotel staff proposed to change room but I didn’t as too much things to pack and unpack for just a mere 8-10 hours before check out. Next morning wake up, the next door also choke. As I can help the engineering guy pumping his toilet and there are the blob blob blob sound in my toilet bowl. Seem like both room toilet share the same main pipe and the main got choke. Kudos to hotel staff to give a new room.

Hotel front desk is very helpful and professional handle customer. The room is ready for us to check in early. The hotel is providing boat taxi to Shenton and take another boat to IconSiam with THB40-00 per person. The Room is facing sea view and really beautiful. The hotel also proving Tutu to Asiatique Riverside. Everything is just amazing. I strongly recommended.

Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

TGreat Location, Good Value, and a Nice Pool I recently stayed at Furama Silom Bangkok and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest strengths are its excellent location, reasonable pricing, and rooftop pool with fantastic city views. The property is conveniently located in the Silom area, making it easy to access restaurants, street food, shopping, public transportation, and nightlife. For travelers looking for a central base in Bangkok without spending too much, it offers very good value for money. The rooftop pool was one of the highlights of my stay. It provides a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views of the Bangkok skyline, especially during sunset. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering good value for the price paid. The staff were generally polite and helpful when needed, although the service was fairly standard rather than exceptional. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, but there was nothing particularly memorable about the service experience. That said, the hotel would benefit from some renovations and maintenance updates. Certain areas of the property appear dated, and some room facilities could be improved to meet modern expectations. While everything was functional, refreshing the interiors would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, Furama Silom remains a solid choice for travelers seeking a well-located hotel with good facilities at a fair price. With some improvements and modernization, it could be an even better place to stay in Bangkok.
