"With the help of the host from this glamping site, we rented a sedan from them to drive us from Chiang Mai airport to this location. It was very remote, and we are happy the host has such service. We are fully aware of the location, it is also the reason we came here to rest after 7 days of Bangkok trip.
We were also very surprised the cleanliness of the site, there is not mosquitos or any other small insects around the camp site, which we were well prepared for that but we are very happy with the environment without worrying this. They must have done a lot of control to come to this state. Thank you!
Service is very good, they have golf car to drive us to the restaurant where we can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner they will offer pizza or mookata, guess everyone will order this.
We stayed at the Kissing star for 2 nights, first night we bought street food from MaeKampong for our dinner, second night we had Mookata, frankly speaking their food is not expensive too, we can hardly finish their whole set for 2 persons.
As for their facilities, I think the pictures are self explained. they have marshall soundbar, enabled Netflix, youtube etc, so that one can really rest in the room, listening to the nature and watching tv.
Their host can be communicated via whatsapp too, so just tell them anything you need, they will try to help. I love their hospitality even in such remote area but still trying to offer us the best!!!"

SStepburkWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and clearly cared for, which added greatly to the overall experience.
While the property is a bit more expensive than some alternatives, we found it to be well worth the cost. The quality of service, accommodations, and unique experiences provided excellent value.
We are sorry that we couldn't get an elephant morning wake up call. I feel sad for the few people that complain and make life difficult for others and also for the elephants. I think the elephant enjoyed waking up humans. We were delighted to see a pair of Northern Thailand reindeer, which was an unexpected treat.
We are already looking forward to returning and were genuinely sad to leave. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking a unique and memorable stay.

PPengguna TetamuAn amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out.
The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

Домик был чистым, но минус ставлю за террасу, которая не убиралась. Халаты и полотенца меняли каждый день. Воду приносили каждый день. Единственное, если вы едите с детьми, то хорошо подумайте. Им там будет скучно. Кроме источников на территории отеля ничего нет. Завтраки подавали каждый день одинаковые, но вкусные. Так как хозяйка вегетарианка, мясных блюд в меню нет.

PPengguna Tetamuที่พักดีสะดวกสบาย สะอาด ที่นอนดี ห้องน้ำแยกห้องสุขา ห้องอาบน้ำ อาหารเช้าโอเคร เรือนทานข้าวติดกับลำธารบรรยากาศดีมากๆ ในห้องพักมีกระจกบานใหญ่สำหรับคุณผู้หญิงแต่งหน้าแต่งตัวสะดวก แต่อยากให้มีรองเท้าใส่ในบ้านเตรียมไว้ให้ เพราะดึกๆอากาศเย็นเดินแล้วเย็นเท้า ที่ชอบอีกอย่างมีน้ำดื่มทานฟรีให้เป็นสิบขวดและน้ำอัดลมแช่เย็นดีมากๆ มีมาม่าคัพเพื่อหิวทานฟรีเช่นกัน ทางที่พักใส่ใจดีมากๆ พนักงานก็น่ารักดูแลดี ตินิดนึงที่ทำเล ที่พักติดถนนข้ามไปก็เป็นลำธาร แต่ไม่มีที่นั่งเล่นส่วนกลาง ถ้ามีจะดีมากๆเลย

PPengguna TetamuThe location of the hotel is a bit far inside the hills, but the view from the room is remarkable and worthy. We arrived there at 21:00 and their kitchen was almost closed, but they kindly allow us to order and had a dinner. The dishes were so yummy!!! There was a huge spider inside our room when we got into it. I asked the staff to help us through WhatsApp. He helped us to drive it away rapidly. That’s so good! The room was quite clean but the details were not good enough. The jacuzzi was so fun to use😆 Watching the stunning view with the blublublu sound was extremely chill~~~ They gave me a pack of popcorn as a thank you gift with many lines of words on the package. That was so warm and I can feel their full-hearted intention. Thank you!

”We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Nelamit. The room with its stunning view was a highlight, and the warm temperature provided by the heater was much appreciated. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we did notice some minor areas for improvement. The dome could benefit from a deeper clean to address some minor fungal growth. Additionally, we believe the room rate should include complimentary soap for the bathtub, which would enhance the overall guest experience.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner for maintaining such a lovely property and for the dedication of their staff, particularly during both peak and off-season periods. We hope these suggestions will be considered for future guests.”

i booked a Standard Room (B2) via trip.com and thought the location - as per the map - was a 10mins walk from Mae Kampong Village. lugged myself + heavy backpack up hills to find out when i reached that the homestay was located at the village itself (great location, walking distance to all the shops but wish i knew earlier!)
apart from that, had an absolutely lovely stay. the young staff spoke english and was really helpful and nice. room is nice and clean. snacks + drinks are available for purchase in the room but tip: bring your own mama noodles for mookata! they sell one set for 350 baht which i enjoyed eating outside at the balcony
staff also asked if i would like to join the sunrise at Kew Fin + Mae Kampong Waterfall for 100baht/person; pick up at 5.30am. glad i went! it was beautiful. it gets chilly on top so you can also take the white “bed runner” in the room as a scarf
breakfast is included and is at a separate restaurant, just a couple minutes walk from the accom, located at the cafe At-Mae-Kampong. it was a buffet spread with healthy options. absolutely loved the congee! it’s so good, must try
overall had a very pleasant experience. definitely recommend! homestay location is great and value for money. good for a 2d1n trip. i booked shared transport via klook from chiang mai
